    Rebecca Lashbrook MD

First of all, I have seen several physician's assistants; Rebecca (not Lashbrook), Melissa, and Anne.  I don't recall even ever meeting the doctor herself.  I am apparently not in need of an actual physician.  At yesterday's visit, I was called in to the exam room at 10:10 (appointment time was 10 a.m.) and a staff member took my blood pressure and pulse and took notes on her laptop of my responses to her questions.  She left and said that I would be seeing PA Rebecca.  It was 25 minutes later when the assistant popped back in to get her blood pressure cuff.  No Rebecca as yet.  I told the assistant that 25 minutes was too long to wait and that I would be leaving in 5 minutes.  Voila, Rebecca was there in a flash, apologizing that "We're very busy today", at which I responded, "I'm busy too."  It took Rebecca all of 4 minutes to review the notes and send me on my way.

I've decided to find another provider - a doctor who will actually see me occasionally.  Oh, and one who doesn't have religious music blaring out of the stereo . . .

    Brzozowski, Dr. Jan F.
He has fantastic bedside manners.  He is just very warm and very caring.  That means a lot with a gynecologist.  It is a beautiful new office overlooking a lake.  He is very sharp.  The billing is fine.

    Cusenz, Dr. Bruce J.

I arrived at the surgery center as scheduled at a few minutes before 10 a.m.  I had filled 3 prescriptions beforehand and had brought them with me as instructed.  I sat in the waiting room for over an hour before finally being called into the back to prep for surgery.  At that point, the doctor came in, asked me for the medications I had brought, and had me take them.  They were meant to relax me so that the surgery would be less stressful.  Unfortunately, right after I took the meds, he and his assistants immediately laid me down on the surgery table and without any conversation at all began to wash my face and hair and entire head with some sort of disinfectant.  The next thing I knew, he was injecting my face in multiple places (including my eyelids) with Novocain.  The shots were very painful. He still had not addressed me to explain what was happening.  About 90 seconds later he started cutting away at me with the scalpel - long before the medication or the Novocain had had a chance to take effect.  Every slice was excruciatingly painful, and I complained as they went along.  I was repeatedly told that I was "doing fine" while Dr.Cusenz and his staff talked at length about what they wanted to order in for lunch that day.
After about 45 minutes of slicing and stitching and stapling, they pronounced me "done", sat me up, sponged as much blood off me as they could, bandaged me up and hustled me out the back door with instructions to return the next day.

My scars, which Dr. Cusenz said should disappear within a year to 18 months, are still very prominent, ropey, and painful. They often wake me from a sound sleep, and they itch something awful. My left ear canal was damaged during the surgery. I complained the day of and the day after the surgery that I was unable to hear. Dr. Cusenz said that a little blood was in the ear canal and would eventually "work itself out". Indeed it was almost a week before I was able to hear properly. Now, I am unable to swim without water blocking my ear. I need to avoid turning that ear to my running shower for the same reason. I believe the stitches he took through my ear cartilage narrowed my ear canal and are to blame. My jowls are already coming back because I believe that the skin and muscles of my face were not properly tacked to the area behind my ear. I no longer have earlobes. The stitches eliminated them altogether.
If anyone is considering Dr. Cusenz for any procedures at all, I advise CAUTION!

    Noticewala, Dr. Anand
I went to multiple appointments with my wife while she was pregnant with our first child. He is very friendly and professional. He had a sonogram machine in his office and so was able to give us regular printouts of sonogram pictures. When my wife went into labor there were some complications, but we felt very comfortable with him and felt confident in his advice.
The only negative I would bring up is that we sometimes would have to wait in the exam room because he sometimes ran behind schedule.

It has been quite a while since I've seen Dr. White.  He's has a real nice manner.  His staff is very, very good.  I would continue to use his practice in the future.

The doctor I see at that building is excellent and I like her a lot. The blood work I've had done there has been right on. I don't have to wait very long and they do a good job. The facility is clean. I do have to fight with the billing and accounting department about half the time. It is not that they do anything wrong, but it is not clear and I have to go around and around with them about stuff. It is not that it is wrong; it is just confusing. Other than that I have no problems with this facility. I can walk in for blood work Monday thru Friday but I have to make an appointment if I want to do the blood work on a Saturday.

I use him because of the quality of his service, his professionalism, his staff and the way he goes about taking care of you. He's real caring; he's not just there to get you in and out. He spends time with you and really wants to make you feel better when you leave. I will continue to use him.

    Ronald M. Vrablik, M.D.
I consulted with Dr. Vrablik after an ultrasound revealing uterine fibroids (which have been causing debilitating symptoms) and referral from my PCP. Dr. Vrablik did not take adequate time with my case, and did not seem to take my concerns seriously. He was not interested in learning the details of my condition beyond the results of an initial ultrasound or in developing a more personalized approach to treatment (both steps that another physician has since taken). He was far too quick to suggest a hysterectomy, particularly considering my age (33). My advice, if you see Dr. Vrablik, is to be wary of any such drastic measures that he might suggest, and don't be afraid to get a second opinion! I also found his office environment unprofessional--his personal office was cluttered and seemed disorganized, and his waiting room and staff displayed overt religious symbols and messages that made me uncomfortable.

    William Sullivan MD
I was sent for 2 tests, they showed inconclusive as to even needing a Cpap machine. Wish I had never done it at this point. I am stuck paying $1600 for a machine that I don't think I need but was pushed into by this doctor. yes, I am changing doctors and have now talked with others and this is basically his Mode of Operation. As the only "game in town" there is few choices but I will surely look for other options.

I will never make the trip again. I am angry that my time mattered so little this doctor. Maybe they should rethink their scheduling practices and not schedule patients on days when the doctor is on-call. I know of no other business that treats its customers this lousy and gets away with it.
