    They are very helpful and understanding. They're not even very expensive considering they're smaller and can't get the big box prices, but it's not that bad. My husband communicates with them and pays for whatever he needs done on the lawnmower. They are a small community hardware store and they have everything. They usually have what we can't find anyplace else and they're not like the big hardware stores. They have stuff for the people with good service and I love it. It's personalized and they have everything I want. We sometimes want older stuff which they have and not always the brand new fancy things. They do good work and have name brand merchandise. They're busy and do the best they can, but I was very happy with them.

    We were in need of a new refrigerator. Our old fridge was a great fit for the cubby hole in our kitchen, with a built-in cupboard above it. Unfortunately, the new models have a higher profile and we were unable to find the same capacity in a unit that would fit under the cupboard. My wife was very upset about this and kept going back and forth between the style we wanted (a bottom freezer unit) and a larger capacity unit that was a top freezer. Our salesman (Allan) was amazingly patient and helpful, offering all kinds of suggestions and doing his very best to help us make the right decision. When we finally made a decision, he helped us process through all the paperwork very efficiently and set up our delivery. The unit was delivered today, and the two guys could not have done a better job. They were scheduled for a 15 minute appointment, but took about an hour because the old fridge had to be taken apart to get out the door, and they had to switch the hinge on the new unit. They were courteous and were all business getting the delivery completed as quickly as possible. This was a wonderful buying experience from Sears with the only negative being that the salesman did not remember to sell us the water hose attachment for the ice maker. Not a biggie...I'll just have to drop by and pick one up from them next time I'm in the store.

    Allegheny Power Equipment
    The mower wouldn't start with a key...only by jump starting. It had a bent deck lever arm and other problems. Allegheny got it to start, sharpened the blades, put on new belts, fixed the deck lever, changed the oil, greased the break and repaired the leaky tire. They did a fast job and all is well

    We feel that the experience went very poorly.  The salesman, Justin was wonderful.  We took delivery after many delayed promises of delivery, and many excuses for the delay, and upon the first use of the tractor it broke down.  We called the dealership and they sent Justin down who couldn't start the tractor, and then they towed it back to the dealership and in order to get any communication from them, we have to continually call them.  They are not proactive at all and this is affecting out lively hood.  We have missed the first week of haying season with that tractor.

    1. Within 2-3 hrs of operation the tie-rod end on the tractor separated because the castle nut had not been installed. Greenhill provided the missing castle nut, my husband installed it. It was the dealer's responsibility to correctly assemble the tractor before it left the lot. 2. By the end of June, 2012, we had only used the backhoe, which was delivered installed on the tractor. We took the backhoe off and attempted to attach the tiller. We spent days trying to make it fit, assuming the equipment had been properly matched to the tractor being sold. My husband was also pinned between the tiller and the tractor while trying to install it and  bruised his right side. When Roger Bowes was informed of our difficulty in hitching up the equipment, he became sarcastic and stated that he can put on any piece of equipment by himself in minutes but offered no assistance or instruction in how to do it. We also live only 2 miles from his dealership.  3. A severe storm moved through on the evening of July 3rd, 2012, felling hundreds of trees in our neighborhood. When my husband started the tractor to assist in emergency road clearance, he found the hydraulics on the front end loader wouldn't work. 4. The next week Greenhill picked up the tractor and tiller. Half of the tiller's drive shaft had to be cut off to make the tiller fit. The tractor was returned in working condition and we were charged and paid for the maintenance done. 5. This was not reported until now because if the tractor needs repair in the future we fear repercussions. However, when it is reported in the Meadville Tribune that Greenhill keeps winning awards from Kubota for sales and service, we feel consumers need to know about Greenhill's true history of poor service and arrogance.
