    Telliho Tree Service
It was a major project due to being between a home and garage. They ground the stump and planted grass seed.

They cleaned up after themselves and did a wonderful job. I believe there's no one better in the area to handle such a big job. They have properly trained staff.

Excellent, professional service.  All work was done with utmost care to make sure that we were satisfied with the results, and that no damage was done as trees and branches came down.  Clean-up after service was immaculate, and communications were clear and straightforward.  I would use them for any tree service I need.

I needed a tree service to remove a very large(6-8 ft diameter 50-60 ft tall) stump/trunk of an ancient and rotting tree from a property we recently purchased. I called Thomas Tree Care twice- once in December '14 and spoke to Mr. Thomas who was going to look at the tree and get back to me. Winter came and heavy snow prevented access to the tree, so I called again in March when the thaw was happening. I left a message in March and I have heard nothing since (now June).
I imagine that most other consumers are like I am and would like an honest  reply even if it is- too busy- job beyond the scope of experience or equipment capacity. The courtesy of a timely and honest reply goes a long way.

I was in search of a tree service that would remove a huge (6-8 ft diameter- 50-60 ft. tall) ancient tree trunk on a property we recently bought.  I was calling services I found on Angie's List and from the yellow pages.  Ray Copeland was one of those services. I spoke with him on the phone and explained the job the best that I could.  He said he would go and look at the tree stump and get back to me, and he never did.
I understand that this particular job is going to be difficult due to it's size and proximity to buildings etc, but if the job is beyond the scope of a contractor's ability or schedule capacity, I (and I imagine most consumers) would appreciate a call stating that fact.

We had a heatwave and a drout when he put the plants in and we struggled keeping them alive. One of the trees he put in died shortly after. W
e asked him to widen the gardens along the edge of the driveway and it was hard to tell what he did .

    Budget Tree
The estimate was very detailed as to which trees and/or branches needed trimming and cutting.  We discussed the disposition of the wood and debris, he and his crew would see to all removal and clean-up.  George, his brother, and his son-in-law came to the house on the appointed day and worked all afternoon. All of them were very sure and very knowledgeable in all aspects of the job.  Before they left, we talked about additional work that should be done, and the next morning they returned to finish the job.  Everything was done so professionally, the crew were all very friendly and polite.  They worked like DOGS nonstop until the job was finished.  In addition to the tree service, this company also does landscaping, and we talked about having them back late in fall to start a project for my back yard.  I was really REALLY happy with Budget Tree and recommend them most highly.

They are very helpful and understanding. They're not even very expensive considering they're smaller and can't get the big box prices, but it's not that bad. My husband communicates with them and pays for whatever he needs done on the lawnmower. They are a small community hardware store and they have everything. They usually have what we can't find anyplace else and they're not like the big hardware stores. They have stuff for the people with good service and I love it. It's personalized and they have everything I want. We sometimes want older stuff which they have and not always the brand new fancy things. They do good work and have name brand merchandise. They're busy and do the best they can, but I was very happy with them.

They do a good job. He used to come in after winter and do the cleanup of the gravel and stuff, but now he is not doing it. I will still use him because the other alternative I have here is double that price.

Z&M Ag And Turf - Edinboro
We feel that the experience went very poorly.  The salesman, Justin was wonderful.  We took delivery after many delayed promises of delivery, and many excuses for the delay, and upon the first use of the tractor it broke down.  We called the dealership and they sent Justin down who couldn't start the tractor, and then they towed it back to the dealership and in order to get any communication from them, we have to continually call them.  They are not proactive at all and this is affecting out lively hood.  We have missed the first week of haying season with that tractor.

They are the best one in Meadville but they are extremely expensive.  If you want something done and you want it done right, they do it.  They put their signs up when they are landscaping.  A friend of mine had used him and she has known him for a long time.  She was very pleased with his work.  I got him through a word of mouth.  The work that they did for me was very good and I was very pleased with the results.  They are very busy and it takes a while for them to get to you.  They were here early in the morning when they said they would.
