AA 1 Safe and LockI cannot say enough about A-1. They came out and saved our Christmas!!! We just moved in to our house and had all of our Christmas stuff in our garage--and were shocked by the door locking (we had no key!) I had little faith that I would find a locksmith on Christmas Eve. I called a dozen places that seemed kind of iffy. Even though they closed at 3 A-1 called me back at 4 and came out and got the old door opened. He was professional, prompt, quick to get the difficult job done and he was just genuinely a good person. If you need a locksmith A-1 is your best choice by far!!- Maya A.

ALock n Roll 24/7Excellent! The technician was professional, prompt, courteous and got the job done. I needed a lock repaired on my sliding glass door to the deck, a door that was fairly old and for which there were no available parts! He was able to repair it. Also, I had the technician install a keyless entry deadbolt on my front door. His work was seamless and flawless. And the cost was modest, competitive with any other locksmith...Actually better, The services rendered were superb and the associated costs were surprisingly modest.- Rita W.

ABlack Lock LLCBen was very prompt and very professional. He fit us in to his schedule as we needed the protection of a functional front door, and he arrived within less than 2 hours. He immediately diagnosed the problem and even had the (not commonly available) parts in his service truck. The options were outlined and the procedure was explained as he completed the repair. He noticed some misalignment around the door and the jam's strike plate and improved the fit. Price was very reasonable and I felt Ben was honest and efficient as well as friendly.- Lenora D.

AOver a year ago, I wanted to install a washer and dryer upstairs in my bathroom. The job required a 220 and 110 electrical line and new plumping. I had 3 contractors come to my house to ***** the job. For various reasons, each contractor said the job couldn't be done and recommended the washer and dryer be placed in the basement. I didn't give up. I searched and searched the internet until Angie's List recommended several names. I went with Handyman Chris Jackson. I sat down with Chris and explained my frustration and intentions. He listened, explained what he could do and gave me a very good price. In addition to major work in the bathroom, he also completed 13 other jobs around the house. The entire job was completed in a week. Everything that I imagined turned out absolutely outstanding. I am truly impressed with Chris' professionalism, knowledge, work ethic, and ability to envision what I wanted without trying to dissuade me. His crew was very polite and skillful. I am fortunate and grateful in acquiring Chris. I'm planning on hiring him in the spring and would recommend him to anyone. This old house will never be the same thanks to Chris Jackson!

AThe service went very well. The only complaint I have is that the service person did not wear a mask. It is my hope that maybe he had some medical issue as to why he did not wear a mask. I am a health professional and so when someone in a business does not wear a mask, it makes me wonder why they are not following CDC guidelines. Granted the garage is outside and I wore my mask to protect him just wondering why he did not wear one. Otherwise, the service went very well and I would use them again.

AA-1 Rudy really saved my butt when I got into a seriously tough spot. I had a very heavy, and expensive safe in a tightly constricted basement in an older Pittsburgh home. No mover would touch it, not even piano and special item movers! Not even the speciality safe movers that originally moved it INTO the house! In total I called 24 specialist movers, safe sales, and vault specialists in Western Pennsylvania and Ohio. I called everyone. Some of them came out in person or sent an estimator to the house before they declined the gig. A-1 Rudy was THE ONLY ONE willing to even try the safe move. Bob designed the move process (using a wrecker truck's hydraulics for the extremely difficult lift out of the basement), engineered solutions where needed (attaching plywood to stairs, etc), and arranged everything necessary to move my incredibly heavy safe out through a doorway offering only pinch points with mere centimeters of clearance space. They got it done on time. I paid only a little over half of what I was prepared to pay for such a demanding job. They didn't damage the safe or the home (which was basically a miracle), and they cleaned up too. When NO ONE ELSE in Western PA (or anywhere) could get the job done, A-1 Rudy Lock & Safe came to the rescue. I'm now a customer for life.
