Dr. Lombardo was very thorough.  Treated Archie with great care.  Explained everything he did and why he did it.  Provided consultation for another of our animals that he had previously treated.

Kim & Puppy Matilda give Five Paws 5 Woofs!

My sister Jenn recommended that I reach out to Five Paws to see how they could help me with Puppy Matilda when she arrived at my house on December 20, 2104.  Matilda is now 20 weeks (March 15, 2015) as I write this testimonial and I could not be more pleased to have found this service and great partnership.

Owner & Schedule:  Jenn could not have been more helpful when hearing that I would need help with Matilda.  Jenn help me create a schedule for Matilda to help with her crate training that had 3 visits a day to make sure 1) she kept consistent with crate training 2) provided enough potty breaks, 3) could eat around mid-day since she had to eat 3 times per day 4) and get enough play time to burn off some puppy energy.  She also said we could add more visits if this was not enough visits to help puppy Matilda through the first few months.  They were also available for 2 visits Christmas day as the vet suggested I could not take Matilda to my brother?s house since they were not sure if she had kennel cough from the breeders.  Melissa fed her dinner and did a play date a few hours later?..this was a great help to me and let me enjoy Christmas with my family and still feel good that Matilda had someone nice to look after her.  Also, Jenn is super organized too with a nifty computer system to register your pets profile.

Pet Sitters:  Melissa was assigned as primary and Morgan as back-up.  Both ladies are so sweet to Matilda and truly adore/love pets.  They love Matilda like ?Aunts?/family. They are the reasons Matilda is so successful at 20 weeks.  They are both super neat too and make sure to wipe up any spills from Matilda, put the leash/treats back in place and wipe up her muddy foot prints (as this winter has been muddy & wet).  They even put my trash bins by the garage and bring any delivered packages inside.

Communications:  Melissa and Morgan leave a note after each of the 3 visits to let me know what Matilda did with them, such as  potty, had for snack or at her lunch, what they played with her at playtime (e.g. fetch) or if she was people/bird watching in the yard. They also would note when Matilda learned some good behaviors from me such as sitting for treats and they saw it repeated with them. These notes make me feel extremely connected to Matilda upon arriving home after work. Also, they reminded me what a good girl she is and how quickly she is growing up!  The best part is when Melissa sends me a video clip or photo of Matilda as it seems she can be such a ?Silly Tilley? on occasion.

Overnight visits:  This is a great service to offer and Matilda loved it (as did I!).  I had to do one night away for a business trip and thought why board Matilda as she is only 20 weeks.  I added a dinner visit and the overnight visit ? Matilda didn?t miss a beat and loved the extra quality time with Melissa.

Overall, this is the best investment I?ve made in helping Matilda get off to the best start at being a great puppy (and a future great dog).  Five Paws is in a partnership with me and I couldn?t be more pleased with Jenn (owner) and Melissa and Morgan (pet sitters).  If you are getting a puppy or have a dog now ? call Jenn and see how her team can be part of your and your dog?s life.

My son and daughter recommended them and I have been happy with them. They are a lot cheaper than my previous vet and they are extremely dedicated to their craft. They really try to figure out what is truly wrong without doing a bunch of test unless they have to. They are very efficient, caring and loving. I have a little dog and she is 13 now and she frightens easy.  They are excellent and she wags her tail when she sees the doctor. It is just a real good experience. You can get a wellness check for $191 for older animals.  They know the pet by name and they also knew you by name. I had a raccoon died of cancer and they gave me a sympathy card and everybody signed it. I was so taken aback and I was just blown away. When you go in with your animal, they call and checkup on your animals. Then I went to them and they tried a whole new approach which was more effective and less expensive.

Had my puppy examined and given some boosters . They were nice but so expensive. Charged me almost twice the actual cost of cremation of my other dog. The crematory sent me a letter with the actual costs noted! Such a shame because they are nice people but very much out for the profit!

They have good hours so I am able to drop her off in the morning and then go to work, and then go back and get her and if I need to. I don't have to get into a boarding situation and I don't have to take off all day of work to get her service. The price is probably standard. I have never really taken her anywhere else, and she is the first pet I've had and it's been years.

.I am very glad they are available. They are very caring to the animals and professional. They are excellent and I would refer anyone to them. They are always receptive to their patients and explain everything to you. You don't leave the facility without not knowing what was done.

When I dropped ToTo off, I told the groomer that the previous groomer cut his mustache and skirt too short and I did not want that again.  She told me that she would do a standard schnauzer grooming which she said would leave the eye brows, mustache and skirt long and the legs fluffy.  When I picked him up, his eye brows were gone as well as his mustache and skirt.  His legs were not left fluffy as is typical for a schnauzer grooming.  His nails were not trimmed as her web site says is included in every grooming.  When she put his halter on, he let out a loud cry because she forced his leg into a position that hurt him.  She then proceeded to do the same thing when trying to correct the halter position.  I have only heard my dog cry like that once before when a Vet was examining his injured pay.  He has never attempted to bite anyone as he did when this groomer hurt him putting on the harness.

Here is the groomers response to an email I sent earlier:

Dear John, I am dismayed....I evened him out and
only used a #4 on his body and his skirt and legs were trimmed to 3/8?...I left
his beard and only trimmed his cheeks short...evening out his ?stache (I didn?t
realize you wanted him lopsided-looking)...I cut his eyebrows in
    proportion...
When you came to pick him up you said nothing about the length...even
writing out a second check, including a tip?????????????????
As you saw, he had put both legs in his neck part of harness in his
anticipation to leave and as I tried to work one out, he cried out.
At first I thought, oh I won?t cash the check...but after thinking about my
over 2 hours of gentle handling which you did not see, avoiding being bitten
when doing his front feet...I am sorry, but my time is worth something.
I realize I will never see you again and can only hope you will find
    satisfaction somewhere.
    Peace, Betsy Heenan

See the photos and judge for yourself whether he got a standard grooming with eyebrows/skirt, etc. intact.  One of the photos show ToTo prior to his grooming.

Took my two dogs here for the first time yesterday. You can tell how much they love animals. The care, professional & affordable services makes this place my two pooches new groomer.

Spoiled Rotten is approximately 20 minutes from where I live.  The services, professionalism and DEFINITELY the cost is well worth the drive to have my precious pooches groomed.  And, you can have a mani/pedi upstairs while you wait for your pooches to be done!

All I can say is WHAT A FIND!

I like them a lot, and I know a lot of people that really recommend them.  They are fantastic!  I had a cat that had a chronic condition for years and was going to another vet but not clearing up.  I took him to them, and in just one visit, he was a lot better.  Their prices were very reasonable.  Actually, I'd be using them again today.

Both Robin the owner and Karen, our Pet  sitter were professional and very knowledgeable about dog care.  I was put at ease immediately upon meeting Karen and watching her interact with my dog.  My dog is very barky and greets all new comers with loud long barking sessions.  This did not happen when Karen first met her, she took to Karen immediately, It was unbelievable and almost unheard of for my dog!
Karen visited every afternoon for 11 days while we were away on vacation.  Upon my return I found daily notes from Karen on details of her visit; my dogs mood, water conditions, exercise provided, etc.  It was fun reading the daily notes one by one and seeing how well attended my dog had been.  My dog was in great spirits when I returned and had no lingering effects from my being away so long.   I was very pleased with their services and would use them again and highly recommend to others.
