    Pete Bilotta General Contractor LLC
Pete was professional and communicative throughout the project. He kept his work area clean and asked for my opinion as he was working to make sure the fixtures were positioned where I wanted them. I would definitely hire Pete again for any future plumbing projects!

    Nguyen's HVAC Services Inc.
James Nguyen and his team could not have been more professional and helpful. I would proudly recommend them to any of my neighbors (which is extremely rare for me). Throughout the process, James personally responded to any questions or inquiries in minutes including weekends and holidays.

    CKC Plumbing : Cantamaglia Mechanical
I have a warranty with American Home Shield so CKC was assigned when I had an issue. As is the case with 50% of my claims with AHS the problem wasn't covered. However Chris & Brendon were able to advise me on my options and quickly installed a replacement expansion tank at a reasonable price. I understand that it is situational but my experience did not reflect the more negative reviews on this site

Golden Rule Plumbing & Contracting, LLC
I made an appointment for 8:15 am on a Monday morning and no one ever showed up. Never received a phone call to cancel or change the time. After about one-half hour, I contacted Golden Rule and was put on hold for at least five minutes. I hung up and called back and was told that a mistake was made and that someone did not record the appointment. I had taken time off of work for this appointment and I don't know how a company doesn't take keeping appointments seriously. Very disappointed!

    James Lista Plumbing
Can't say enough about how professional and caring Jim was. He got back to me in less than an hour of my phone call to him. We set up an appointment for two days after my call. He followed up the day before to confirm the appointment. When he arrived, he immediately when to work. Everything was complete in a timely manner. He took time to explain what he did and made sure we understood. Don't see that kind of service in this society now a days. Would hire him to do work for me again, in a heart beat. Very professional.

Edward Powell Pump And Well Drilling Inc
The rep that arrived was very nice, did a full diagnostic and brought back the info to the office to produce the quote. Results: -quoted products that were not required (via extensive personal research). QUOTE: Move system and install new conditioning system Move tank to the adjacent room(CURRENT PRESSURE TANK - RUSTED AND UNDER SIZED FOR MY HOME) Re-use tank fittings (THEY ARE CORRODED SO THEY SHOULD BE REPLACED) Tie into the line at the wall from well Tie into main truck line to house plumbing Cap old water line Install MCA AN13 Acid Neutralizer to balance corrosive pH (neutralizers will increase hardness 2-6 grains)***( I SOURCED THIS SECTION FROM A REPUTABLE DEALER FOR 465.00) Install MP MCA 30 Softener (see softener benefits below) ****THEY USED A MULTI PAGE SECTION OF THE PROPOSAL TO PROMOTE THE WATER SOFTENER, THIS ALSO CAME WITH A NOISY BACKWASH REQUIREMENT THAT ALSO INCREASED PRICE OF EQUIPMENT AND AS WELL INSTALL PRICE... WHAT I FOUND WAS 580.30 THEY DID NOT STATE THE PRICE OF THEIR PRODUCT IN THE QUOTE, Run drain line to septic line (dry wall will be cut but not repaired) NOT NEEDED Re-install Ultraviolet light (6-10gpm) MY UV LIGHT IS OLD AND I FOUND A NEW TOP LINE Viqua LIGHT FOR 485.00 THEY WANTED 850.00 ON TOP OF THIS ESTIMATE! Install .75 cartridge filter before U.V to prevent particles in the water from making the U.V. ineffective. i PURCHASED A INDUSTRY LEADING AND RECOGNIZED BIG BLUE FILTER FOR 135.00 QUOTED TO RE[;ACE MY TANK WITH A "WR200" tank FOR 1,155.00 BUT THIS TANK IS DISCONTINUED AND OBSOLETE. I PURCHASED THE BEST WELL X1 CONSTANT PRESSURE TANK FOR 1,200 AND IT COME COMPLETE WITH NEW FITTINGS. ALL IN ALL THEY QUOTED $4,590.00 plus tax AS A BASE USING MY OLD PARTS AND AN ADDITIONAL APPROX 2,000 FOR UPGRADED UV LIGHT AND PUMP. 6,500.00!!!! MY COMPLETE "ALL NEW" SYSTEM WAS UNDER 3,500 AND 650.00 INSTALL FROM A LICENSED PLUMBER. DONT BE SCAMMED BY THIS COMPANY.

Wm. Henderson Plumbing, Heating & Cooling Inc.
Though not the lowest price up front, we went with Henderson because of a prior positive experience with Josh. The job was very complicated (the 3/4" copper pipe took a 90 degree turn unexpectedly and was surrounded by other utilities, requiring hand-digging) and ended up costing more and taking longer than we hoped, but Henderson brought in the calvary to get it done. They put in long hours, working past dark in the mud and rain. They did a great job of explaining and demonstrating the challenges. I spent some time backing into what the job cost them, applying what I know about excavator rental costs and hourly rates for plumbers. They did not make much money on the job - when the conditions caused them to come back to me with an upcharge, they ate some or all of their own profit. We will use them again when we need a plumber.

Mattioni Plumbing Heating & Cooling Inc
My initial contact with Mattioni was to simply schedule a winter check-up on the furnace in our new house. I knew the furnace, a/c, and water heater were all about 11 years old and could be in need of replacement. One month later, Ive had Mattioni replace all three and also perform some smaller plumbing jobs after the annual healthy home plumbing inspection they offer as part of their contract program (which came free for one year after I had the furnace and a/c installed). Theyve done too much work for me to go into detail on every aspect of every job they did, but, on the whole I have been very impressed with Mattioni. Their customer service, quality, and attention to detail seems top notch. If youre just comparing prices, theyre probably not the cheapest contractor to use, but if you factor in the quality of the service theyre providing, I think their prices are very good, which is why I rated them A in this regard. As with any big jobs like installing a furnace or water heater, small hiccups can occur - in fact, a week after the furnace was installed and I had the plumbing inspection, a small gas leak was detected. After the hot water heater was installed, one of the fittings in the pipe that leads into the water heater leaked a small amount of water and set off the alarm they installed. In my view, small hiccups like this are to be expected when new installations occur. Where Mattioni really shined was in their response to these problems. In particular, I would recognize Jared C., the plumber who did most of our plumbing work. He noticed the small gas leak and had one of the HVAC techs sent out within several hours to address it. He also returned the late the same day he had installed the hot water heater to correct the small leak that had resulted from a defective fitting. I found his attention to detail and willingness to help my wife troubleshoot over the phone and then return late after a long day and fix the small problem to be exemplary customer service. On the whole, I highly recommend Mattioni. If youre just interested in finding the contractor with the lowest price, Mattioni is probably not going to be your preferred contractor (although they were willing to match lower quotes I received on the hot water heater install). If youre looking for an HVAC or plumbing company that has responsive and friendly customer service, technicians that pay attention to detail and treat your house as your own, and will ensure that the job is done both correctly and with a high degree of quality, Mattioni seems to be one of the best Ive used in my years as a homeowner. They will certainly be my go-to plumber and HVAC company for the foreseeable future.

    Zoom Plumbing & Drain Svc
They were excellent. I thought the problem was a corroded (and expensive) soil pipe issue. Two men came within 2 hours and thoroughly checked out the soil pipes and the septic tank connectors. It turned out to be two separate issues - a clog in the sink pipe which connects to the main soil pipe and lime buildup within the toilet fixture itself. They snaked out the sink pipe and said the toilet, which is 35 years old, should be replaced. They were knowledgeable and professional. They even wore booties so they wouldn't track in dirt. They were here for about 1 hour and 15 minutes and charged a set price for snaking out a pipe of $189 after deducting $25 for the Angie's list coupon. I have always dreaded calling a plumber b/c I feel like I'm being overcharged but I think Zoom was worth it.
