    Hope Veterinary Specialists
I brought my puppy into Hope because he was having uncontrollable bloody stools. The front desk staff was friendly and the doctor we spoke to that night was friendly. Heres where the problem starts: when they triage the dogs they are tied to a wall in the back. Other dogs are also walked by where these dogs being brought in are tied up. While my puppy was tied up to the wall another dog being walked by attacked him. I will give credit to the doctor for being up front about the incident occurring. My dog has now developed severe anxiety and has several marks on his face as a result. On top of that, Hope had the audacity to still charge me after their negligence! When I told Dr. Wood, the director, about the fact I was appalled they still charged me, she stopped answering my emails! What type of business is run by someone who doesnt answer when a customer has a compliant? Hope is negligent and ignorant to their bad practices and if you try to bring it to their attention they will ignore you.

Not well. When they brought us in they said it would cost $6,000.00 dollars to just check him out and possibly save his little life. These people do not care for anything besides your money. DON'T TRUST THEM. My little dog is now dead. Not like they had any compassion for anything besides the all mighty dollar. The cost below was just to put the little guy down. Because they didn't care enough to work on him without $6,000 dollars.

Hope has a very nice facility and the doctors for the most part of very professional.  However,  it is completely about the money.  They are totally focused on the dollar.  While discussing my cats health, instead of addressing my questions the doctor kept on telling me what it was going to cost.  I realize there are costs involved and am not expecting care to be free however,  you don't expect that to be the primary point of discussion.  Obviously you care about your pet since you are there and if you question them at all the attitude becomes condescending and derogatory.  Having rescued several animals without the benefit of an organization, my pet healthcare budget is limited and I need to spend it wisely.  There is no compromise with them.  To add insult to injury, while on hold you are hammered with how compassionate they are.  If compassion is tied to the amount of money you are willing to spend, then they are without a doubt the most compassionate organization that has every existed.

Kim came and assessed the home environment and met the dogs.  We discussed the meds and schedule as well as peculiarities.
We have 11 year old Chessie and 7 year old Italian Greyhound.  They have their habits and likes/dislikes.  Kim was very sensitive to minimal interruption to their schedule and habits.  Once the sitting began she did an excellent job of communicating with me and letting me know what was going on.  She is very diligent and professional and I was throughly pleased with the experience.

Person to Pet at Home Grooming Service
Tiffany was pleasant and professional on the phone, and she scheduled us within in a reasonable timeframe.
In person, Tiffany is very warm and caring, and she's definitely someone you would trust with your pet.
In our case, this was Max, our 16 year old Westie.  He's getting hard of hearing and of sight, and his back legs are very weak so he's a little unsteady on his feet.  Still, he's very sweet and loving, and we want to keep him comfortable as long as possible.
TIffany has a folding grooming table with a harness , and a full set of tools in a portable case.  She set up where we chose, and gave Max an excellent cut and nail trim.  She would happily have bathed him as well, but given his weak legs, we opted to skip this the first time.
Tiffany provides an excellent in home grooming service at a reasonable price. We look forward to using her again, and would certainly recommend her to anyone to anyone wanting quality care for their pets.

    Malvern Veterinary Hospital
We have recently left the care of Malvern Vet after taking our large family of rescue cats and dogs there for years. We began to notice that phone calls were not being returned on a sick animal and that the turnover in the office both in terms of vets and office staff, was becoming excessive. Dr. DeGiacomo an impressive young veterinarian who was a great addition to the practice, left after several months with no letter or explanation to patients who had become accustomed to her care and availability. Dr. Hyduke then brought in another female vet who seemed to disappear as quickly as she arrived, and again, no explanation or acknowledgment to the patients.  Dr. Rockwood is a lovely caring person, but we have had reason to question her judgment at times and I became aware from talking to other patients that there was clearly a group of patients that steered away from her and gravitated only towards Dr. Hyduke.  With Dr. Hyduke it is not a matter of incompetence, but it is a matter of striking arrogance. He is brusque and he is quick and I never got anywhere close to a "warm, fuzzy feeling" from him. I'm not sure his office staff or colleagues did either, because there seemed to be striking waves of changes in personnel over the last year we were with him. We are happily settled in another local practice with an equally competent but also very kind, unhurried, veterinarian with a much more manageable and well-managed practice. To attest to Dr Hydyke's arrogance, my husband and I just ran into him in a local bar/restaurant and he approached us and asked what vet we were now seeing. We chose to answer his somewhat inappropriate question and his response was, "Yeah, he's just OK.". He then said "They all circle around different vet practices and end up coming back to me."   Wow. No interest in ascertaining why a very good client, with 8 pets left his practice after years, and no inclination toward taking any responsibility for what might have gone wrong.  We will not in fact be "circling back" to Malvern Veterinary Hospital.

They're very thorough. He's very good with my freaked-out cat. They were helpful in helping us get ready for travel with our pets. Everybody there had a high level of professionalism. Everything was clean and well maintained. Everyone was very polite.

We used them for a year until our female could no longer go to daycare due to being unspayed but plan on bringer her back once she has that taken care of.
They were always very nice and helpful.

I could go on and on about the exeptional care Dr. Meredith and her staff have given to my precious pups. Since moving to Malvern 7 years ago I have struggled to find a Vet who was great. Dr Meredith is smart and up on all the best practices in modern veterinary medicine. She advised us through a very difficult time with our beloved 14 year old Bearded Collie, she looked at  labs and was able to see results- never mentioned by previous vets, that had ordered the tests to begin with! I am so grateful for the care we received, I know  we had an extra few months with our precious pup because of Dr Meredith, and when the time came, she was there for us too.

My other dogs have been to the practice for exams and vaccines Dr. Meredith has advised me on the best protocals for Lyme, flea and ticks. She is so well read on the lasted research and willing to educate you on all your options. The staff Mac and Molly,  are great too!

The cost varies from $50 to $350 depending on what we are doing. I feel like we can get in as needed, it's a caring practice where there's always someone to talk to and the vet calls us personally with the results. We go fairly frequently because w have one who has a health issue so she gets a shot every 6 weeks to manage her illness. The office personnel is very friendly, welcoming and they look to do a good job. They've renovated their offices over the years an everything is in a nice condition.
