  • I live in a new construction development and was having several issues with the hydroseed the builder laid on the property. Dan worked with me and had a lot of patience as the builder had to address the yard several times throughout our first year. DTL ended up really helping in the Fall where they aerated and re-seeded the entire yard while following up with a fertilization/winterization plan. The crew were all professional and very hard working. They seemed to really care about the details and I felt they treated my yard as their own. They really got into areas by hand to cut away thatch so that grass would actually grow. Needless to say I was very pleased with their work ethic and results. Even now, my grass is the greenest in the community. I would highly recommend DTL. I will be using them again this year - this time for the full season.

  • We purchased an Early Fall Lawn Fertilization Treatment via the Angie's List Big Deals. We were promptly contacted by Green Lawn Fertilizing and got the fertilization scheduled within few days. Everything went as expected and we were definitely happy with the service.

  • Green Lawn Fertilizing has excellent customer service, they send an email in advance of the scheduled treatment, then leave the property with a sign to let them know they have treated the lawn.  I appreciate the report outlining the treatment provided that day.

  • Brad Sommer, the CEO of Sommer Services sold us a Fertilization Package around 4/30/2013 and put us at ease that he can finish the work in 2013. We paid upfront. They did not complete the fertilization program, but Brad agreed in a couple of emails to refund us for the work not performed. 6 months later we still have not received our refund despite numerous attempts to reach him via phone or email. He did not return any of our calls/emails in the last few months. On Apr 28th, when my wife got a hold of him on the phone, he agreed to refund $70 via Paypal if we sent him a Paypal money request, which my wife did promptly. Since then, he never answered any of our attempts to contact him despite a promise on his website to return calls within 24hrs. On Jun 17th, when my wife called from a different number, he answered, but the call got "disconnected" as soon as he found out who she was, and did not answer/ return calls when she redialed later. Worst customer experience ever! We do not recommend dealing with this company and Brad (Bradford) Sommer.

  • They wouldn't give me a specific date to do the service even when I called them directly and unwilling to take direction on what I needed done (like they didn't have time to talk to me). Showed up unannounced when we were not home. Did the wrong part of our lawn. Left 10 foot wide swaths of lawn untouched. Appear to have only seeded half of the lawn they irrigated. It was in short, a crappy job and a waste of money. Goes to show you, you only get what you pay for, and sometimes less than that. This was a bad deal.

  • We have used him for about three years. We pay a whole year ahead. We get six treatments a year. We have had three other lawn services and he is the best. He does the best work. I think a lot of places dilute the treatment down. These guys don't do that. We have had no problems.

  • Initially  they were helpful and things went well , but because of the timing  of the first treatment the weeds continued and took over the yard.  Later in the suymmer I left a message for a callback to see if there were other options for the weeds. The front office called back several day s later, and was  derogatory and condescending about some basic questions I had.  Based on that I canceled the service, but they came back twice to do additional  work, and I had to tell them to leave.  They also promised a complimentary lime application but never did it.

  • After one season of Naturalawn, my lawn has never looked so bad. When I called to complain, I found them to be unsympathetic and unresponsive, they blamed the weather conditions for the poor state of my lawn, and told me to "hang in there" and that things would improve (things did not improve).

  • Nice people to work with - very accommodating. I like to talk with the workers prior to getting any service done, to get a feel of what type of job I will get. They were very professional and answered every question I had. My lawn is a lush green and the weeds are going away! I went years without any fertilizer or weed control, so my lawn(2 acres) was full of dandelions and crab grass - Langs addressed all my concerns. Can't wait until spring to see how full my lawn will look.

  • Horrible customer service! No One answered !! Calls got disconnected for existing customers, but for new customers, someone answers! They scheduled 1st treatment about THREE weeks from initial verbal agreement for the season package. In the mean time, weeds grew out of control. On the day of the first treatment, no one showed. Spent all day trying to contact the local office because phone would automatically hang-up if option2 ("if calling for lawn services and has existing contract"option). Only option 1 ("if you are a new customer" option), then some one answered (not local still , but national sales center). After three hours of numerous phone calls, transfers, & holdings, a service manager finally told me that he would do me a "FAVOR" to come out this afternoon (i.e., I should appreciate for his service today) despite the service was actually scheduled today. I cancelled the contract after that call. Whether I'll get my credit back promptly remains to be seen.
