The estimating proposal process done first in late 2018 was fine and the representative was cordial and informative. We also had two other companies submit bids for the work that was to be done. We also had the representative stop by again in the spring of 2019 to survey the proposed work after the winter months. I was told that there would be no change in the price of the work. The limitation that we put on them, to which they were agreeable, was that Monday and Friday were the best days to do the work since my wifes business at our home is open Tuesdays through Thursdays. After several delays due to wet weather, the work was done in late May 2019. However, the work was poorly done which was later confirmed by a representative of the company whom stopped by after receiving a complaint phone call from me. I was told that they would remedy the poorly done work and would send someone to do it ASAP. I sent three emails to them asking when they were going to schedule the work and received no replies. After calling and talking to someone at the company, the original person who did the estimate stopped by the house and assured me that the work would be done and some of the new cracks would be taken care of. After calling them again after his visit, I was told that they would sending 3 people out on a Saturday to get the work done. The next two Saturdays were rainy but I did not receive any sort of call letting me know that they would not be coming. The following Monday would have been a perfect day and you would figure that this work would be priority to keep a customer satisfied. This past week, I called midweek to see if someone would be coming this past Saturday since the weather forecast looked (and WAS) clear. The person there told me that we were on the schedule for Saturday 7/13. On Friday, I prepared the driveway by edging the grass, and cleaning off any sort of debris in preparation of their work the following day. Since I had to leave mid morning, my wife agreed to stay and wait for their arrival. Well, they were a NO SHOW for the entire day and I received NO phone call saying that they were not coming. Up until this point I had been very patient with them, especially since I limited their choices to Mondays and Fridays. However, I called over the weekend and let them know via voicemail that my patience is growing short. So far, as of Monday afternoon, I have received no response. For now, I am waiting for them to contact me. And, I will not pay the invoice from May 30 until the work is done properly. I am still hoping that this company will take care of the problem and I will promptly pay for the work once it is properly done. I have never had problems like this before. The attached photos are just some of the areas that were poorly done.

They arrived on time and proceeded quickly to apply carbon strips and excavate along the front wall. Rain the 2nd day hindered and eventually halted outside excavation. Work continued on the inside. 3rd day was also wet and work stopped about lunchtime. Did not work 4th day. Completed work on the 5th day. Applied waterproofing membrane and 1" thick insulation to front wall under wet conditions. It wasn't effective at first but seems to be working now in keeping out the water. I complained about not repointing the joints as per contract and they did return to do that. They projected it would take 3 days to complete the project. It took closer to 4 days and I had the impression that they were in a hurry to finish up as fast as possible in order to get to the next job. I realized that the rainy conditions at that time hindered their performance and the front concrete stoop was more difficult to remove than they anticipated, but that wasn't my fault. Still after 3 years, the walls have stabilized and I believe I won't have any more problems. Overall the foreman on the job seemed to know what he was doing and worked very efficiently. The work also included a lifetime transferable waranty.

I called and left a message for Lucas. No one returned my call. I gave them the benefit of the doubt, so I called them again. I spoke with Lucas. We scheduled a time for him to look at the job. He came to our home. Looked at the work to be performed. He told me I should get the estimate in a week. We are now going on three weeks and I have not received any information from this company . I do not see how they have gotten such high ratings when their followup, responsiveness, and professionalism has been poor at best.

The work was done in a timely manner. The patio is absolutely beautiful. All the details were laid out in advance and the quote was very detailed. I had many options of stone to chose from. The process was so easy and the result is stunning. I am the envy of the neighborhood. I am beyond pleased with my experience from start to finish.

    Keystone Foundation Repair Inc
I was at first disappointed with the work performed by Keystone Foundation Repair. Inc.  The front wall was not significantly straightened and the cracked joints in the basement were not all repointed as per contract.
I contracted with Keystone Foundation Repair to fix my basement walls.  I worked with Kyle, one of their salesmen, who assessed the condition of my basement walls and determined that two walls could be repaired by installing carbon fiber reinforcing straps every 3 to 4 feet. The front wall would need to be excavated along the outside of the wall down to the footer in order to  relieve pressure on the outside so the wall could be straighten.  The front concrete stoop and steps would have to be demolished and holes would be drilled along the top into the block so that rebars could be inserted and concrete forced into the cavities of the block to strengthen the wall.  According to the salesman, it would take 3 days to complete the work, and it would not be cheap, $12,490, which included applying a waterproofing membrane to the front wall. I was impressed with the salesman, and most of the reviews on Angie?s List were positive.
A three-man crew showed up on Monday, Dec. 15, the date they said they would begin the work.  It started to rain the 2nd  day so that the outside work was halted and the crew left shortly after noon. When they came back on the third day, some of the dirt walls had collapsed from the  rain, and the wet dirt had to be removed from the trench.  The third day was not a full day and no work was done on the fourth day.    The concrete stoop proved to be a little more difficult to demolish than expected.  The salesman had stopped by while some of the work was being done and had suggested that only half of the front wall would need to have the rebar and concrete treatment. Instead, carbon fiber straps could be installed which would reduce the cost of the project by several thousand dollars.  I agreed.  The work progressed rapidly and the crew departed on Friday, Dec. 19th, 2014.
When I talked with the salesman about the revised cost of the project, I was told that they were loosing money on the project, but since he had promised a reduction in the price, I could subtract $500 from the contract price.
The front wall was not straighten to any degree although I believe I know why now.  I believe that the foreman on the job was very knowledgeable. I sent a letter to the company expressing my disappointment concerning the still-bowed wall and the cracked joints that were not completely re-jointed.  I received a call several weeks later with a proposal that they would return and re-joint those joints missed the first time, which they did.  Although at first I was hesitant about recommending this company to others, I now believe they place a high standard on pleasing the customer and would extend my recommendation to others, provided they reveal to future customers that they may not be able to straighten all walls.

Tanya and Dee showed up at our house within a short period of time from my initial call to our insurance agent.  Both girls were fabulous to work with.  Water was all over our finished basement, and they cleaned it all up without us having to do a thing.  Our home is one where we both work and have kids, so a massive cleanup is not an easy task. We didn't need to do anything, which was great.

    Mid-Atlantic Waterproofing of PA
Very laborious job. Workers were very professional and hard working, completing the job in two days. Prior to jackhammering, they covered everything with plastic to keep the dust from covering basement contents. Cleanup was very good, and they explained the various steps of the process as they were being done. Was told that the work was guaranteed, and that if I ever had a problem, that they would address the problem at no charge. There was a follow up call from the office asking my assessment of the job. Waiting to see if the system works during the spring thaw. It"s been over a month with no water leakage in the basement.

We have had several storms since and our basement is bone dry. They did an excellent job and I would highly recommend them. We had a couple questions after they came out. They put in a battery operated sump pump, which is nice. They came back out after everything was installed to test, inform me of how to work everything, and make sure everything was okay. I was very impressed with their follow up along with their entire service. Other than the flooding (which had no relation to them), this was a great experience. I have recommended them to others.

    KEYSTONE CARPENTRY
They did good job and I would recommend this company.  On a bad note, I understand that Sean Hess' Keystone Carpentry may no longer exist (either an inactivity entity or sold to a new owner).
