    Everything was excellent (scheduling, responsive, diagnosis, etc). Great service - Joe walked through the issues and explained how they were fixed. I will definitely call Joe anytime I have an appliance problem.

    Sears Appliance Repair
    Technician arrived, diagnosed the problem as duct obstruction. Paid $90 for that. Engaged another professional, who performed a comprehensive cleaning/inspection. No obstruction whatsoever. Contacted Sears, who told me it is not their problem. You paid for the visit, not the results. To remedy the situation, I would need to pay for yet another service call to evaluate the same problem. I asked to be escalated, and was connected with a "highest level supervisor", who reiterated verdict. No chance of refund, or, minimally, a return visit to further diagnose with a different technician. Asking how I could appeal this verdict, she said there is no appeal process; this is policy. Have a good day. Click. Ethically mind boggling; morally a "thumb on the scale". Never again.

    Joe came within the time frame that he agreed when I scheduled the appointment. He was able to diagnosis the problem and very easily explained and showed me what the issues were. He had the necessary parts on his truck and had my dryer working perfect by the end of the appointment. Also, we felt he was very reasonable in price! Will definitely call him in the future and refer him to friends.

    He did the job fine. My wife and I were at work and my daughter was home. She called us and told us the bill was $560.00 to unclog the sink drain. He was there probably half an hour and all he did was run a snake down the line. I was p***** and called him and he said my daughter approved it even though my wife specifically told him to call her first. He did reduce the bill to $330 which still think is high. Definitely won't use them again.

    Tim was very helpful and took as much time as we needed to explore all the features and options in selecting our new appliances. He was very knowledgable about each appliance and manufacturer (something not to be found at the big box stores -- we tried that before going to Martins). He was able to answer all our questions (there were many). We settled on the models we wanted and made the purchase. Delivery was scheduled for the day we wanted. Delivery and installation was on time and professional. Refrigerator was installed with water line for ice maker. Washer was installed to water lines. Gas dryer was not installed due to the fact that we were waiting on a plumbing company to install the gas line. Good care was taken to protect hardwood floors.

    The provider came first thing in the morning, decided what was wrong, had me unplug the refrigerator and allow the ice build-up behind the back wall of frig. to defrost all day,came back at the end of the day to remove back wall cover and take care of the problem.

    That worked out pretty good. I wasn't even home when they fixed it. I got the bill and paid it and it was fine. They were scheduled, they came and that was it. It was done well; the quality was good. They were busy so they didn't come out right away, but they came when they said they would.

    The company was very responsive.  They answered my call and were able to send a repair person on a date/time that fit into my schedule (even though it was not on their schedule.)  The repair person was on time for the first visit.  He checked my dishwasher and figured out the problem.  He didn't have the part, but worked with his office to get it.  At the end of the first visit, he reviewed the bill so that I would know what the costs would be.   The company called to confirm that the part was in and set up the return appointment.  The repair person came and installed the part.  The dishwasher works great!

    The service was excellent and the repair person was professional and on time. The repair experience was great.
    Just a warning, however. The Sears team called to sell me a service plan prior to the visit. They attempted to intimidate me with potentially high costs for the repairs. I bought the protection plan. I didn't need it. Sears will refund the difference in the cost if I remember to call and cancel the plan. But that whole process was jarring and unwanted.

    I was impressed with the cost.  They were very professional.  They take pride in their work.  One of the things I want to mention is, I had them out to repair a washer and they refused to repair it because it was too far gone.  They said the transmission was no good and they wouldn’t work on it.  They only charged me for the service call.  You don’t hear of that too often.
