    Randy is great to work with.  I always bring my cars to him.  Had the "lucky" chance of an intermittant problem showing up during a weekday!! Randy's equipment diagnosed it and he was able to fix it.

    As usual, quality service was performed as described over the phone.  I've been taking my cars to Randy for over 10 years.  He is honest, gets my cars in quickly when service is needed, and if there are issues, always calls me to let me know what is going on.  I don't have to worry that he's going to do something that isn't needed, and the work is always top-notch. I really appreciate having an auto repair shop that I can count on for honesty and fairly priced repairs.

    I travel up and down the east coast and have family locally around New London, PA. I needed work done on my Nissan and my sister recommended New London Auto. I gave those guys a list of what I though needed to be checked on my vehicle since it was running rough. It is an automatic and it wasn't shifting. It didn't sound right and the engine vibrated. I also wanted the normal stuff checked like (tires, alignment, fluids, etc.). They fixed all that and then some. The metal rod that holds up my hood was broken off a while ago (I usually stored it in the trunk) and they fixed it free of charge. It's called a hood prop. They also straightened out my headlights (that wasn't on my list either) and I didn't notice until I was driving back down to FL at night that I could "finally" see the road way out in front of the car. I was never charged for either one of these things. KUDOS!

    Left car evening before day service was to be performed. Requested car be done by 10:30 a.m. if possible. Received call at 10:00 a.m. that car was finished and did not need anything done to meet inspection and emissions sticker.

    Safelite AutoGlass
    Safelite came to my home to replace my windshield. After replacement, while driving at 60+ mph one night this past winter , I heard a really loud noise,like blowing. I thought it was road noise at first, and then realized it was the windshield. It was so loud as I drove up a major interstate (I couldn't slow down and had to keep up with traffic) that I actually feared the windshield would implode.
    I called Safelite the following day to tell them that I knew air was getting in the windshield, that it wasn't attached properly. It took several days to reschedule reinstallation of a new windshield. They sent the original installer, who found that he had installed it improperly. Not cool. I mean, this is what Safelite does, right? The guy said his thumb touched the adhesive in one spot and it created a gap where air was getting in.

    These guys are the absolute best.  Honest, straightforward, friendly, and great quality repair.  We go to them for all our repairs and inspections.  I trust them completely!  Here's an example of why I won't take my car anywhere else: My son recently had his car break down out of town and the mechanic there told him he needed to replace the engine.  He had it towed to Richards and they fixed it for a very reasonable cost--without replacing the engine.

    Very easy to get appointment.  They called with diagnosis and quote.  Upon completion the next day, they called promptly to let me know the car was finished.  I paid exactly what I was quoted.

    They are awesome. They are very accommodating. They call ahead of time before they do the work to make sure that we can afford it. They charged us so much less than other places would have charged. They do a really good job. I can't say enough about them and I won't take my car anyplace else. They will do the work and then forget to call to tell us that the car is done, but they are still great.

    I called and got an appointment for the next day. I asked Randy to do an oil change, fix the turn signal (bad connection) and check the car all over (belts, brakes, fluids, etc.) for an upcoming road trip. He called me after he checked it out and before he did the work, and told me that I was due for front brakes, but everything else looked good. I told him to go ahead and do the brakes and the car was ready at the end of the day. I have been going to New London Auto Repair for the past 7 years and I have to say that I COMPLETELY trust them. They are extremely fair in pricing, very thorough, and honest.

    I made an appointment to have my oil changed (which I receive lifetime oil changes and state inspections) and my turn signal lamp replaced. I called the service department before I came in and explained that I was waiting for my car with my 2 young boys, and asked if there was a better time to come in so that the wait would not be as long. I was told "no, come in any time." I showed up at 10:40am. I gave my keys to the service manager and explained what I wanted worked on. I sat down with my 2 year old and my 6 year old sons. I was not looked at or talked to until 11:50am. At that point a man came in and discussed with me what was to be done to the car. He tried to sell me more services than I wanted and I declined. I was exhausted and frustrated and hoping that my car was going to be ready soon. At 12:30 I asked the service manager when my car would be ready and that I was waiting at that point for almost 2 hours. He said he would check and walked away. I then saw him sitting at his desk so I went up to him. He told me that they were done and just writing up the bill. He offered no apology, no sympathy, and seemed frustrated that I had then brought my boys to the front of his desk, while I finished waiting for the car. When I got the bill I was a little surprised at the price. I was told to sign the bill, and when I asked what it said, I was told, in an exasperated tone, "this gives us permission to work on the car!" I was so worn out at this point I would have signed my own death warrant. Then I realized that I was charged for the oil change. When I told him to take it off the bill he was put out again! The ONLY redeeming quality of this experience was the young woman at the reception desk. She actually made me smile and seemed to have some sympathy for my situation. All said and done I did not walk out of the dealership until 1:00pm. Time total: 2hrs, 20minutes. There was only one other customer waiting and she walked in after me and walked out within 30 minutes. My kids were hungry and tired, not a good combo. I was beyond frustrated and just wanted to get my kids home. I don't like to complain, I don't want to be one of those people that expect the unattainable, but this was just ridiculous. If there was some acknowledgment of my wait, of how well behaved my boys were for the 2 plus hours they were forced to sit with nothing to do except watch tv. If there was some compensation, not necessarily monetary, but an offer of something for my kids to play with, or a coupon for lunch somewhere, or the use of a car, to go get lunch while my car was being worked on. I don't know, I don't have all the answers, but they need to fix this. I get lifetime oil changes and state inspections, but will go somewhere else. The freebees are not worth my sanity.
