They put in a tub and shower enclosure. Some structural work needed done, which was completed to make the bath more solid.

The work was completed in one day. The installer was very professional and personable. He asked questions about how we wanted things to be placed. After completion, he cleaned the bathroom so there was no evidence of any construction.

Shower was professionally installed and we are very pleased. The only thing our hardwood floor got damaged two places by the installer

Master Bath Shower remodel

Multiple phone calls with different individuals to schedule appointment. Person never showed for appointment. I called to confirm as requested, but they claim no call. Very poor customer service. Very disorganized. High pressure sales. Would not recommend. I say avoid this company. Go with someone local with references.

Came to my home at THEIR request to review and tweek original estimate.

The Short Story Pushy overly aggressive company calls nonstop after 1st estimate -requests to send supervisor to our home for a 2nd estimate... give them chance... actually are going to go with them but because he doesn't like that we didn't sign an agreement right then and there proceeds to cross out agreement in dramatic fashion asking us to sign it and shows us a letter from the owner accusing us of being unfair to his company for bringing them out a 2nd time at their own request. For real. Very disappointing. The Long Story 1st guy came out a few months ago - great guy. Gave us a thorough estimate, very professional. Estimate was higher than expected. Husband and I had to discuss our direction and think about what we really wanted. Had a general contractor out who actually recommended Bath Fitters based on our needs. Bath Fitters had called at least 1 time a week since we first had them out. THEY called again and requested if THEY could have a supervisor out for a 2nd time to see if they could tweek the estimate because we were "specially selected". I agree to have them out. Discussing with the supervisor what we wanted, we had talked about if putting in a new tile floor would be something we should do before or after the tub install. We needed to talk to a family friend who would be helping us with that. We needed to rearrange funds. AND we needed to determine when the best time would be to have this done as it is our only bathroom. My husband and I have a standing agreement that we NEVER sign anything that night. We told him we were interested but we needed to figure a few things out. He offered to wait out in the car while we discussed our plan. We told him he would get hungry and cold because it would be tomorrow at the earliest that we would make our final decision. He immediately started crossing out the estimate and asked that we sign the document that we were not taking his deal. He then even went as far to pull out a typed document letter from the owner of Bath Fitters Lehigh Valley that had underlined in bold letters that what we were doing to him and his company was unfair. It read " THIS IS UNFAIR" He lectured us on wasting the companies time and manpower as to have them come repeatedly to our home. Reminder they asked to come back out.

Nothing

I stopped at a display for Bath Fitter and inquired about having my one piece fiberglass tub and shower replaced. A couple of days later, I received a call from a salesman. He said he could send a technician over that evening for an estimate but I asked him call back when my wife was home and that I preferred an appt. after the holidays. He ignored my request and said he can send someone over the next night, I repeated my request, then he said the following Saturday. I again told him I need to make an appt. when my wife was home and to call back in the evening and to wait after the holidays. I became somewhat annoyed and asked him what he didn't understand that he had to call in the evening so I could coordinate an appt. with my wife (I'm retired but she is still working). At that point he hung up on me and I haven't heard back from them.

We had bathfitter install a system to cover an existing tub. They inspected the plumbing and wall to ensure there were no leaks/damage that needed to be repaired prior to the install. They were punctual and professional. The work was completed on time.

The job was completed on time. We are very pleased with the results and would use bathfitters again.

Total wet area, tub over old tub, new toilet, wainscoting the lower half of the bathroom.

They do not do the floor or the vanity. We had to contract out for that. They totally work with you and everything is very professional. They are not cheap, but you might be able to get the price down.

Put in a new tub

We called Bathfitter because we thought we could put an enclosure over our existing tub. The salesman said that we had to put in a new tub due to the type of tub we had. We were getting ready to sell our house and the old enclosure needed updating. He guaranteed a fast turnaround so we agreed to let Bathfitter put in a new tub, enclosure and fixtures. I had stressed to the salesman more than once that the tub we had was very small. When the new tub came, it was two inches bigger than the tub we had. By the time the installer realized it, my old tub was in pieces on my front lawn. We would have appreciated being told that the new tub was going to be bigger and stick out a bit before we made a decision. When the installer called the office, the salesman told him to just notch out the studs. When the installer called the office, I could hear the salesman yelling at him. The installer put me on the phone with the salesman who was very nasty and told me to put the installer back on the phone because it was him and the salesman. Luckily, the installer was smart enough to know that the tub was on a support wall. Also, when the installer was removing the old tub, he made a small nick in my brand new kitchen cabinet. After the ordeal, I received a call from company asking if I was satisfied. I told them this whole story and all they did was send me a coupon for a free grouting. I don't know what good that was going to do me since the tub was new. It wasn't transferable as far as I know so I threw it out. I would rather deal with a company that is more honest and would have taken the time to explain that tub was going to be larger before we signed.

Removed old tub and replaced with a walk-in shower.

They kept us informed throughout the whole process. It was a two day job and it was completed within those days. They cleaned the area. We selected Bathfitter despite it being more expensive than the other two we considered. They exuded CONFIDENCE in that the job would be done right and we were not disappointed.
