ABella Brothers Construction IncDO NOT HESITATE TO HIRE BELLA BROTHERS!! Bella Brothers is top notch when it comes to home remodeling. I hired them to complete a full home remodel on my house which included new plumbing, electrical, floors, installing all new ceilings, roof, windows, painting, HVAC, dry walling the house which was down the to the studs, kitchen install, you name it, it was on the contract for Bella Brothers to complete. From my first meeting with Tom (he walked through the house with me to see what I was looking to have completed) he was amazing. He listened to what I was looking for and offered excellent options and ideas to keep me within my budget while still ending up with the vision I had of the completed project. He is a true professional who did exactly what he promised his team would do (leave my house gorgeous!!). Tom was always available when needed and was VERY fair with pricing. Shortly before the starting date I met with the project manager assigned to my renovation, Mike. He was also amazing! He took care of everything and always kept me up to date with what was happening, the next steps, and making sure things were getting done, he never missed a beat. He was also always there for my questions and took the time to help me understand things that I just didn’t know about (this was my first remodel). The team that remodeled my house was continuously at the house working, I never had to wonder if someone was coming. Once the work began it was always a priority. I myself did not live in the house since it was full remodel so going back to the house daily was exciting to see how much progress was done daily. I am not sure what I would have done without Bella Brothers. The home remodel process can be stressful but I was always in good hands so it made the process very easy. To sum it up… Bella Brothers is a team of professionals who care about the work they complete and left my house better than I had ever imagined! ABasic Basement CoWe used Totally Basments to finish our basement this past fall. While it did take a little longer than the originally estimated time of 6 weeks, the basement was completed in a professional manner and all work completed went above our expectations. Every employee showed up at the expected day and time as planned. The teams were very knowledgeable about their specialties and our main contact Bob helped us every step of the way. Thinking each decision through was a breeze because of his experience and knowledge about the business. And his input was very helpful based off of his other customer’s experiences. Gail was also extremely helpful in scheduling/organizing all of the components and keeping our project moving along. ABasic Basement CoAfter receiving multiple quotes, we chose the Basic Basement Co. to finish our basement including adding a 1/2 bath. Right from the start, they were very professional. The overall process was extremely efficient and well-coordinated. Gail, our project coordinator, was superb. She kept us informed of next steps and was very responsive to any questions we had. AMr. Contractor IncSteve and the team at Mr. Contractor are wonderful. We hired them to fix up the addition in the back of our house and it ended up being a way more complex project than we had expected. Steve walked us through our options and helped us figure out how to get it all done within our budget. He and his team were so communicative during the whole process and had excellent attention to detail. Also, I have to point out that they were always early to come to work...that's so rare. AatticrawlI used Atticrawl for one of my historically old buildings, thought raccoons where entering to the attic. the smell of death was horrendous!!!! Luckily into the incredibly thorough cleanout and removal down to the insulation they found it to be squirrels . they sealed all access points and shared photos. Fantastic customer service communications with Ryan Abraham before during and after the job! He even shared photos of the chimney seal so my husband didn't have to go on the roof !!!! AMr. Contractor IncWe were connected with Steve @ Mr Contractor through our realtor to fix a buckling stucco wall, replace two lintels in the front, and install star bolts. When they opened up the exterior wall, it became clear that the scope of the project wasn't merely cosmetic, they would need to reframe the side of the house. Steve very patiently walked us through our options, explained the extent of what needed to be done and why, and made helpful suggestions as to how to proceed. The work itself was extensive and took about a month but the side and back of the house look incredible. We're very happy with their professionalism and the quality of the work. AIt went very well. Jon arrived on time and spent a good bit of time looking all around the basement and attic, even performing a home leak test which revealed that our chimney's damper doesn't perform as it should (already called for service) and that the insulation in our attic is up to code. He made useful suggestions about potential upgrades to our HVAC and water heater, as well as our thermostat. He installed energy efficient light bulbs in the few lamps where we didn't already have them. All told: a very useful expenditure of time and limited funds (the state of DE covering 3/4s of the cost!

AI can't say enough about the work Wright did for us. We had a mold issue that required replacement of a large section of subfloor, drywall, trim work, and tile removal and installation. They even picked up a large kitchen cabinet for us and reinstalled it when the carpenter who rebuilt it was concerned about installing it due to the coronavirus. They were always very responsive, professional and extremely courteous, even checking in with us every day to see how the work went that day. I've never been more satisfied with a contractor, and would not even call another company if I needed this type of work done again.

DI placed a call on Sunday, and had a great interaction with the call center staff. They were polite, taking down all my information stating that there was availability for someone to come out to provide an estimate. I called again Monday morning as there is the guarantee that someone will come out same day, and I had yet to hear from them. Again, the call center staff were polite, though they asked the same questions as though they didn't take down my information. No problem. I then received a call back that they have a temporary hold on any repairs and are only allowed to come out for replacements. It would have been nice to know this before hand when I originally called as I had to take off of work to make sure I was present for the availability that I was quoted for on Sunday. Disappointed to say the least after reading such promising reviews on this site.

AWe were so overwhelmed after experiencing an electrical fire and water damage to our home. Someone suggested to us to hire a public adjuster. It was the best advice we received. We searched around and decided after reviews to hire Funari Public Adjuster. They took charge of our claim and used their experiences and expertise to get our home livable again. Then the impossible happened, the pandemic, need I say more. Chris Funari went the extra mile, during the pandemic, as well as Joe Funari, Lauren and many others behind the scene. Even through all this, the Funari’s made sure that all communications to us, our insurance company, home inspectors were arranged. What a relief! The best thing we did was to hire the Funari Public Adjusters.

AChecklist Handyman Services did a great job renovating our 35-year-old house's ugly bathroom in September of 2018. The original owner never renovated anything since 1984 and we have been waiting to update the largest bathroom for years. I found Jose's card at a YMCA and gave him a call. I found out it was easier to communicate with them via email or Facebook because he is really busy. His estimate was very fair and competitive. We finally got down to work and the project changed each day because this old house has some hidden problems. I knew that the cost may increase because of the unpredictable plumbing issues I was sure would arise. Jose was very flexible with changes and responded kindly to my questions and concerns. The final cost was reasonable and I think a great value. He is very personable and we were able to work together to sort out the hurdles. As the handywoman of our family, I appreciate any contractor who treats my concerns with respect. We ended up with a lovely bathroom with some really cool features that made our whole family happy. I have posted before during and after photos of our bathroom renovation. It has been a year since Jose renovated our bathroom and it is going strong. I need to replace the caulk around the tub, but nothing has failed, chipped or warped. I definitely would suggest Checklist Handyman Services for your renovation project especially if you need some creative solutions. He seems dedicated to making sure the customer's problems are solved.
