I would highly recommend American Roofing & Remodeling. The job came out perfect and the guys that work for American Roofing were very nice and above all were very neat and tidy. They left the outside of my house looking better than when they got there. The price that I received from the start was very fair and he assured me he would be using the best materials he could. This was very important to me since I am perfectionist. They are by far the best roofing and siding company I have ever worked with. I total thumbs up for American Roofing & Siding.

Never got to find out. Front office staff screwed up the consultation and sent the wrong person. When I tried to get the right person out, I got blown off like my business was of no importance to the company. I took this as a sign of what work might be like. I went elsewhere.

My experience with Kip and his team was exceptional. From the first contact Kip was professional. He was responsive, easy to get a hold of, and he was accommodating to my schedule. We agreed to a price, signed the contract, and set up a schedule with the understanding that both ($ and time) may change depending on the degree of water damage behind the shower. Dealing with contractors in the past I expected the worse, you know the overly inflated add on price you have no choice to take since your home is torn apart and an undetermined amount of time added on, but that was not the case at all. The job originally was scheduled for approximately 4 days and only took 5 1/2 days total! Mike, our tech, even came out on Saturday to be sure that the job stayed on schedule. Obviously, due to the extent of the damage the total cost of the job did increase but Kip and Mike worked together to be sure they stayed as close to our budget as possible and I am confident in the decision we made. Mike was friendly and very respectful of my home and belongings. He communicated with me through each stage to be sure I was in the loop. In between times when Mike had to wait for something to dry and such instead of standing around doing nothing, he offered to complete minor projects, like replacing 2 or 3 electrical outlets that my Husband kept putting off doing (haha). He even helped my husband move a rather large and bulky Arcade game from the basement! I work in Property Management and have dealt with many contractors of all kinds and I must say Millenium Kithcen and Bath Remodeling proved that there are still good, hard working, honest businesses/people out in the world, and that not all contractors are alike. I look forward to hiring Millenium in the future for any projects we may have.

Neal and his team did an excellent job. The finished product was better than we had hoped. They all worked with us very closely to make sure that the finished product was exactly as we wanted. They all worked very hard to let us know any potential pitfalls that could be avoided, and deal with the issues that arise during a big project like this. The only down side was when his spacklers were working on the other room they had left a mess on the carpeting and tile in the fourier. We notified Neal that evening and he had his team stop work immediately so that he could have a professional cleaner come in the morning to take care of the mess before work continue. Neal will be the first person we contact when we renovate our kitchen in a couple of years. We love the new space and look forward to living in it for a very long time. On a side note we intend on using his cleaner again later this summer before a party.

Jeff came out to assess the water leak in the master bedroom that occurred after a recent storm.  He went up on the roof and determined that water came in through the roof vent and leaked through the attic into the master bedroom.  We talked about the fact that we hadn't had this type of damage in the 10 years we've been in the house - not even Hurricane Sandy.  He recommended that I do nothing until we replace our siding (we plan to do so in the next year or two).
I was completely impressed by his honesty and the fact that his recommendation to do "nothing" would not result in a sale for him  today.  This solidifies my loyalty to the company (he'd done work for us in the past and I will definitely work with him again in the future)..

The entire process from design to completion was excellent.  I have used this company in the past and would absolutely use them again in the future. The quality of the work is excellent and there is great attention to all details of the project including adhering to the timetable, minimizing disruption in the house, and daily cleanup to minimize the mess.  The workers are courteous and take great pride in their work. The owner of the company gives a complete detailed schedule of the project from start to finish including weekly (sometimes more) updates of exactly what work will be done and when  all selection of materials including costs are provided as well as a detailed payment schedule to avoid any surprises along the way. The process starts with an extensive design phase including computer generated drawings which make it easy to visualize the project before it begins.

JL Roofing was responsive to our concerns. Patiently answered all our questions as this was the first new roof we had ever installed and experienced. They earned the business, did what they said they would do and we were very satisfied.

Geno's Siding and Roofing did an excellent job on replacing our whole house siding and gutters. We felt very satisfied!
Geno is a honest and professional manager. He is an expert in this field. The estimate is in detail, reasonable, and with 10 years warranty. The crews are responsible, hard work, and have excellent skills. They arrived on time and worked whole day on the project. They carefully cleaned up around the house at the end of every working day.
Geno's Siding & Roofing LLC deserves the ?Super Service Award? of Angie's List. We highly recommend Geno's company.

This is a follow-up to the Angie?s List review we posted in late February, in which we gave an overall rating of D based on our experience with Frank and his team. That review has since been deleted from Angie's List, so a copy is included below. In Frank?s response to our February review, although we were disappointed that he still didn?t acknowledge his team?s missteps, we did appreciate the apology he gave and his offer to address any future problems. A few weeks ago, we discovered that there was a problem ? that our front shutters had been installed improperly and were now beginning to buckle as a result. As such, we took Frank up on his offer, explaining the problem and requesting that he and his team stand by the quality of their work. To their credit, Frank and his team did address the issue quickly - they replaced the buckled shutters with new ones and ensured that the new shutters were installed properly. We?re glad that, despite the missteps we experienced from Frank and his team at the end of our original project, they were willing in this instance to honor their word and stand by the quality of their work. And we hope that this commitment to quality will continue should any future needs arise.

My D rating for Frank and his team is midway between an A for the first weeks of the project and an F for the final weeks, a delay that extended the project weeks past the promised completion date.

Although the first weeks had some minor hiccups, overall Frank and his team did a decent job getting most of the project work done

Just before the project was due to be completed, we noticed some quality issues caused by members of Frank?s team, and here the trouble began. These issues, and the untimely and unprofessional way Frank and his team handled them, completely reversed the positive opinion we initially had. During these weeks, we experienced communication mishaps, clerical mistakes, an angry false accusation, and even downright dishonesty from Frank and his team.

Throughout these final weeks, Frank repeatedly insisted that the project was complete, despite the issues that were still outstanding. And his team?s efforts to get the issues resolved ranged from apathetic to deceptive, as follows:

Final touches like caulk and paint touch-ups were ignored/delayed for weeks.

Frank and his team repeatedly miscommunicated with inspectors, each other, and us about the status of the final inspections, resulting in us having to secure these final inspections ourselves.

    • One of the quality issues we experienced was that Frank?s tile person had laid our tile floor crookedly, and after discussion with Frank we agreed on a monetary credit rather than a repair attempt. But when we tried to work out the details of this credit with Frank, he was argumentative and evasive with us.

    • When Frank first asked for a final check, despite outstanding issues, he hadn?t even given us a final bill yet. He then gave us a bill that was inaccurate, but that he insisted was correct. Based on the careful records we kept, I knew the bill was not correct, so I investigated the discrepancy. I discovered that Frank was charging us for somebody else?s roof permit and for credit card convenience fees his team had incurred! It was not until I insisted that these extra charges be removed that we received an accurate final bill.

    • Finally, worst of all??.another quality issue we experienced was that Frank?s team had damaged our brand new vanity top. They brought in a repairman, who tried to repair the top but ultimately deemed it beyond repair. Frank?s foreman then said he?d order a new vanity top. For the next two weeks, Frank and his team strung us along, promising to order the new vanity top but making excuse after excuse for why they had not yet done so. Then, after this two-week delay, Frank told us his team was going to uninstall the old vanity top and bring it "to Collegeville", which would then result in us getting a new vanity top in place later that week. I was skeptical, so I left Frank a voicemail to verify that we were in fact getting a new vanity top and not having a repair attempt made on the old one, since his own repairman had stated that the old one was beyond repair. I reiterated the concern to his foreman, who told me his understanding was that we were getting a new vanity top. I then got a call from Frank telling me that he had brought the old vanity top to a manufacturer who would assess it and either repair or replace it but would give him no other information. Confused at why Frank hadn't simply ordered a new top and at why he hadn't informed us of this change in plans, I ended up interrupting him as he spoke, and Frank lashed out at me. He angrily told me how patient he had been with me and then falsely accused me of threatening to "tape conversations" in my earlier voicemail. I grew upset at this and raised my voice as I expressed my disbelief. He then scolded me, telling me there was no reason for me to raise my voice because he hadn't "accused me of treason". After this phone call, seeing how shaken and upset I was, my husband called Frank and left him a message expressing his extreme frustration. Frank never responded to my husband?s call. The next day, I called the manufacturer and learned the truth?..that Frank and his foreman had arranged a repair only and that there had been no discussion of replacing the old vanity top with a new one. He also said that he had been communicating the details of the repair process to Frank all along. After this incredibly frustrating revelation, we recognized that our insistence on the new vanity top we paid for would mean having to deal with Frank?s deplorable behavior for several more weeks, when we were already three weeks past our promised completion date.  As such, out of desperation to be finally done with Frank and his team, and for that reason only......we met with the manufacturer, inspected his repair job of the old vanity top, and reluctantly agreed to accept the repaired vanity top. When the old vanity top was subsequently reinstalled, it began to show signs of having been sanded and repolished. But at that point, we could no longer stand to deal with Frank and his team and their unprofessionalism and dishonesty, and so we chose to live with the old damaged vanity top rather than insist on the brand new vanity top we paid for and deserve.

After the final weeks of the project finally came to an end, despite our extreme dissatisfaction, we still gave Frank the full amount we owed him. However, we also gave him a letter privately expressing our concerns to him and asking for an explanation. But instead of providing any explanation, Frank responded by insisting that he and his team had been timely and professional, blaming delays on his suppliers (who had nothing to do with any of it), and telling me that he had not been dishonest (even though, on the last day of the project, Frank?s own foreman admitted that Frank had lied to me). I sent Frank a response refuting his claims and waited for any further response from him, but now a month later I?ve gotten none. And the sad thing is, I?m not even demanding the new vanity top we should have, not looking for any financial compensation for the pain and aggravation we experienced, and asking for no more than an acknowledgment and a sincere apology for what Frank and his team put us through. Given the egregious actions of Frank and his team in the project?s final weeks, and given his refusal to acknowledge or sincerely address these actions, I feel that I have no choice but to rate our final experience with him as an F.

Gutters were installed but there was a problem with the pitch. Work was corrected without debate. Then minor shingle damage was found. After a delay shingle was fixed without debate. I commend the contractor for following through and standing behind the work. We are satisfied customers.
