Tire Buying And Repair reviews in Lansdale

Worth going a bit farther for this consistently honest, skilled, quick shop of good guys with low turnover maintaining old settler name/rep in community I chose after thorough research. Shuttle no inconvenience & comfortable in AAA service car, and Godshall's reduces appointment frequency by their in-depth shop work & in-between answering questions so well it's often unnecessary for this gal to bring in her 2008 obsolete Saturn they keep up with no problem.

State inspection/Oil change/Checkup, with AAA discount even better than their coupons, includes breaks/tires inspect so no need to return for AAA 40-point inspection coupon free for $80 value since Godshall's already included that work w/o extra charge in my annual govt renewal so well priced even my ultra-frugal lifelong-area-resident neighbor impressed!

Communicating generously, they've taught me more (still, at 60!) about car maintenance in general as well as specifically what they find when working on my car; & they're good about special requests like adding Marvel Mystery Oil to oil change I learned from a Honda owner with 500k miles on his car.  Really grateful for good Pennsylvania people :)

I reported to Angie's that this shop has been Mr.Tire a while now after long time as Vespia's.  Thanks to online reviewers I got my  my new PA state inspection/emissions tests last year repeated this year & more as I discovered not just tires/alignment/tests but also maintenance servicing.

Last year I used Angie's List discount (&/or AAA, not sure) & this year Mr.Tire coupons postal mailed for State inspection & wheel alignment recommended after bad winter potholes & factory markings appeared my 2008 Saturn never aligned though after they commenced it I found prior CA alignment receipt of barely needing adjustment, hence Mr.Tire thinking never done before, but that's ok & I'll have it checked again next year too since abysmal parker & potholes.

While Service Mgr Joe helped me through expired insurance paper/stickers while answering my maintenance questions,  the mechanics discovered an optimum service missed by my carefully selected Angie-listed repairs shop which had found the cause of my dashboard "catalytic converter light" to be a sticking thermostat instead, & they added coolant instead of  flush/replace since car low mileage but Mr.Tire Svce Mgr Joe explained that aging coolant loses potency & should be replaced (I don't remember if AAA etc discounts).

Svce Mgr Joe also answered my tire rotation & wheel balancing questions "not yet needed"--an honest shop :)  My Angie's List repair shop is honest & does a good job too, I'm grateful for both of them, thank you Angie's List & reviewers "a girl's best friend" ;)

The service requested and completed were excellent. The oil change is not your basic oil change; J's checks all the fluids, lights and the pressure on all the tires, including the spare, as part of the service. When I arrived to pick up my car, John carefully explained to me what needed to be replaced and why. I always go to J's because I know that the job will be done correctly and that I will understand what was done before I leave. I have total confidence in J's Auto Service.

Angie's List reviews and AAA rating gave rightly gave me confidence that Godshall's could honestly, quickly, and ably fix my car by my warranty deadline, finding dashboard and quot;catalytic converterand quot; warning light turning out to be engine thermostat sticking, and previous shop diagnosed and quot;a/c beltand quot; squeal turning out to be a squeaking pulley, along w/ oil change/lube inc tire nitro.

Nice bunch of guys, they literally and quot;went the extra mileand quot; shuttling me to/fro (no high-overhead fancy waiting area or loaner vehicles) and helped my query to purchase replacement ext.wty w/ a few recommended dealers their top the farther Aand T Chevrolet unsurprisingly the best (v. AAA-rated Bergey's Chevrolet nearer me didn't return my call until too late) helped me well w/ new ext.wty though Saturn out of biz by USGov now taxpayer-supported General Motors.

Car going great again w/ minimal time and financial loss ;)- Definitely returning (though could walk to nearer Hauck's also on Angie's List I recommended AAA list though reviewers say complacently busy w/ referrals, not communicate as quickly/well, nor as fast turnaround as Godshall's); and if Godshall's unavailable for emergency, I'd try AAA/Angie's Bob Adams of Lansdale.

N Penn Gulf took such good care of my Nissan Maxima that I was able to get almost 400,000 miles of use from the car.  One thing I really like about this shop is that they pay attention to their repeat customers.  Even though they keep a log, like all good shops do, they seem to remember when something sounds different than it did before, or other little details that show they're paying attention.

Sometimes we call for an appointment, other times we just drop in. Even without an appointment we don't usually wait long. There is free WIFI in the office, if we do need to wait for a few minutes.

My neighbor recommended me to this place. I stopped by, choose the tires, pulled up the car to their garage bay and in 20 minutes was out of there. They only charge for the tires and the PA sales tax. Tire installation is free. They also have a quick turnaround ~ 20 minutes per car. Excellent place. I will definitely buy from them again.
