    Services Unlimited, Inc/Parts Guru
Order placed for two kits. Parts arrived. Defective. Parts Guru Edward Harris said he'd send replacements. Only one screen arrived when he said they would send two. Also defective. Then he said he'd send the upgraded screens, one for each machine, and a bag of beans for being patient with them. The parts and the coffee never arrived. I called. He said he would not send the screens, just give a partial refund. I told him to just send me the screens, no need to send coffee, I just wanted the machines to work as they should. He denied that request. So here we are. I am notifying everyone of their misleading, deceptive, unprofessional tactics.

    Tim's Appliance Repair Inc
Tim was able to provide service on the same day I called and arrived promptly. After diagnosing the problem, he provided me with a repair estimate to replace the entire heating element (heating coil, sensor, fuse and enclosure). However, only the heating coil was defective. I opted to not have the part (entire unit) replaced. I paid the $79.00 + tax service call. I did, however, find an OEM heating coil online and completed the replacement (DIY) at a cost of 5% of the unit replacement cost. I was disappointed that Tim did not suggest that option.

    Tim's Appliance Repair Inc
Tim looked at the dryer and determined that there was either something wrong with the safety on the dryer or the control panel was bad. He said that he would not be able to tell if the control panel was bad until he installed the safety. He took a deposit of 159.00 for the safety. When he came out to install it, the dryer blew the new part. He told me that the dryer blew the new safety and that I would need a new dryer. He refunded me the part of the deposit that covered the part, and only charged me for the service call - I received a check for 74.25. I really appreciated his honesty and the fact that he refunded me part of my deposit, rather than charging me for the part. He was very pleasant and honest. I would definitely call Tim's Appliance Repair again.

    Miss Appliance Services LLC
They are absolutely horrible. Miss Appliance Services LLC fixed our fridge and fixed our stove, neither of which actually ever got fixed. We ended up replacing them. The grade I want to give them is the absolute worst. That was a warranty. To make their company better in the future, they can answer their phones, they can show up on time and they can  actually get things fixed. The best part of my experience was when I didn't have to deal with them anymore. The worst part was calling them in the first place. I would absolutely not use this provider again.

Mr. Appliance of King of Prussia
The service went quick and easy. We have used Mr. Appliance in the past and specifically requested them to come back out, more importantly the same technician, as he was very professional and informative. They seem to do a very thorough job and they are professional throughout the entire visit. We are pleased with all the services that Mr. Appliance offers and how quickly they respond and come out to do the service.

    Aviv Appliances
I described the symptoms via email (through Angie's List).  A Maytag Neptune 5500, 11 years old, loud noise only during spin cycle. I asked if it was probably the drum bearing and if assuming so, what would be the estimated cost to repair? I preferred to request Aviv's opinion rather than taking their time and my money to come to the house; but thinking they (like other repair companies) would probably require a visit to assess.  To my pleasant surprise they contacted me quickly, shared their opinion by stating that it was a very good chance that it is the bearing, estimated it would cost about $600 to repair and strongly suggested that I purchase a new one.  First, I was pleased they were willing to provide this advice without requiring to come to the house.  Second, and most impressive, Michelle provided their recommendations on models to look for, based on their experiences with both top loader and front loader models they typically do and do not service. They were willing to meet my need knowing they would not get any business out of it.  But now experiencing their excellent customer service, I will 100% remember them when I do need an appliance, like an oven, dishwasher, or refrigerator, etc. repaired.  Thank you.

    Dave's Appliance Repair & Parts

The entire experience has been terrible. I scheduled my initial for appointment today between the hours of 8AM-11AM and the provider had not shown up by 11 and I called just after 11. I spoke with a representative who told me the tech was running a little behind and would be to my home shortly. After waiting another hour and a half I called back and asked again when the tech would arrive and was told once more that he was running late and would be arrive shortly. After waiting almost another Two hours I called back and was told by their representative when asking why they haven't shown that they would "get to me when they get to me." I felt that was one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had and the representative proceeded to tell me I was raising my voice once I became a bit irritated by their poor service. After attempting to explain why I was irritated and upset and had to call off work for this appointment she hung up the phone on me. I would not recommend this provider to anyone whatsoever even if the service was free for lack of professionalism and their disrespect should not be tolerated by anyone.

Eyol was able to tell me that the refrigerator was not worth spending money on as it is a poorly made unit even though it is only 4 years old.  He recommended I save the repair costs (which would only add up over the course of the next year or two) and invest in a new unit from a retailer that he knows to be the best in the business.  He was not trying to "make" money off of me-he throughly explained how a refrigerator works and what to look for.  Eyol was a complete professional and I would recommend him and his company to anyone that asks.  Thank you for fabulous service and excellent information.

    Tim's Appliance Repair Inc
Within minutes, Tim identified the problem. He said that it was repairable. However he recommended purchasing a new washer rather than investing $900 in repairs to my 8 year old front load washer. He also gave me some good advice on how to brace the floor so the future washer would not shake as much. He was very courteous and professional. I chose Tim based upon prior Angie's list reviews. Thank you Tim for your help and thank you Angie's List reviewers for such good reviews.

Our pump in our washer machine was punctured and needed to be completely replaced.  Tim responded on time and was quick to find the issue and the resolution.  He even took the time to get the part and come back to install.  No delay in any way and I would highly recommend this repair service to anyone.
