    Natural Lawn of America
This is a review of Natural Lawn of America - Bucks out of Montgomeryville-Lansdale PA. We had the service for two complete seasons, 2017 and 2018. It was the free reseeding that originally attracted me to the program. I originally thought the aeration was included but it was not. Although we had the program for two season I was never satisfied with the treatments having to make more call for retreatments and return visits than I should have. At the start of the program I called about having someone inspect the lawn but was told that it was not necessary and that the individuals treating the lawn could adapt the treatment to what they see. I was expecting that at least the PH of the lawn would be tested. It was well into the first season after several call that I learned that our lawn had several types of weeds that could not be treated. It would have been preferable to hear about this before the program started at an initial inspection. We never had a dandelion problem, mostly crabgrass. They did mostly eliminate a weed that I call elephant ears, large flat leaves with long seeds stems in the center although it did require additional calls for retreatment. I really started turning sour on the treatments after the aeration and reseeding in the fall of the first year. I was not home when it took place and was unhappy when I found that the aeration equipment pulled up large clumps of grass and mud rather than small finger size plugs. Since I was not there I do not know if it was problem with how the machine was operated or if the ground was too wet for aeration. In any case it took well into the second season of treatment before the lumps of mud dissipated. It also appeared to me that not enough seed was put down and I ended up putting more seed down myself. Early in the second season I called to relay my concerns with the treatments and was told I should expect it to take 2-3 years for the lawn to improve. It was mentioned again about the weeds that could not be treated. At the time I thought the lawn was in worse condition after the first year that when it started. I could not find any paperwork about warranties or on their website. Although they will continue to retreat you still have to continue to pay for the schedule treatments even though it did not seem that the lawn was improving. After two years of the program I had to call it quits.

    Shan-Gri-La Contractors
For 2 years I had been looking for a contractor to extend my small patio area. It was my lucky day when Chip Bunch, owner of Shan-Gri-La contractors agreed to take on the project. Two days after he saw my garden, I had a detailed proposal. He worked with me on both price and timing. Chip was very patient with some of my unrealistic ideas. He explained the problems and increased costs. It would have been very easy for him to take advantage of my naive enthusiasm, but he didn't. He was always honest, professional and delivered what he said he would. The project was scheduled for the 3rd week in July, but in June I requested it to be COMPLETED by the 2nd week of July. Chip and his crew were able to begin on June 27th. He introduced me to three men who had all been with him for ten years. They immediately got to work and everything was done with precision and pride. They were here to work not chatter. It was fascinating to watch them because it so unusual. The evening that they finished I no longer had an overgrown muddy backyard. Instead I was sitting in my clean, crisp garden feeling like I was in Shan-Gri-La. I can't say enough about Chip and his crew. I am just thrilled.

    Jim's Tree Service
This group of guys are the most caring and polite professional tree surgeons we've ever met. The workmanship of the cuttings and the cleanup were amazing. After the work was finished the grounds looked better than when they started. Easy to talk to and communication was spot on. The crew was on time. Five large trees trimmed and one completely removed. Large mats were used to protect our grounds from severe divits from the heavy equipment. The courteousy of each trimmer was impecable. They even come out the following day to inspect their completed artistry. We give Jim's Tree Service 5 Stars. Hire them; you won't be disappointed.

    Rick's Expert Tree Service
We called Rick's Expert Tree Service on September 1. The arborist came out the same day (unannounced, and I just happened to be home) to evaluate a tree. The tree needed to come down, which we figured, and he gave us an estimate. We had to call back to schedule, and we did. They said they were busy and quoted some time within the next four weeks, which would mean the end of September. They also said they'd call the night before to let us know when work would be done. Fast forward to October. We called to ask when we might be scheduled, and they said they didn't know. They were sorry, they were behind. Today, on October 18 they called at 10 am. Again, I just happened to be home, and they showed up an hour later only to tell us that they could not do the work because our neighbor's car needed to be moved from his driveway. 7 weeks wasted for them to not call, just show up, and do nothing. If they called the night before like they said they would, we might have been able to talk to our neighbor. We can't do that with one hour notice on a work day. This was a total waste of time.

    Jim's Tree Service
Tree was surrounded by wires and was dead and hollow inside so it was a dangerous tree to take down. We got four estimates. Jim 's estimate was very competitive . He was the first to get back to us and came out immediately and gave us an estimate. His crew performed the work on time and were very thorough. They cleaned up everything after and did an incredible, professional job.

The gentleman I worked with was extremely helpful with regard to providing an estimate and scheduling the job. The yard had been severely neglected; it was overgrown, dirty, and had multiple weeds and branches. The work was completed in a day and the yard looks better now than when we moved in 7 years ago. I absolutely recommend Evergreen Landscape Mgmt. and would work with them again in the future.

    The Poison Ivy Specialist
They do not use chemicals but rather dig out every sprout. They are careful to avoid your plantings. They also came to our home this year just to weed our beds and did a beautiful job. The staff is friendly and respectful.

    Reid Jonczak Landscaping
We have been using him for a year now. He comes every Friday and cuts our grass, and if it rains on Friday, he comes on Thursday. He cuts our grass, and does a very good job. He has a couple of guys with him that trims and stuff. Every year he puts weight rocks by our pool. He does such a good job. There were a lot of plants, and weeds growing up in them. He does a really good job. My realtor uses him, and his friend uses him.

    Shades Of Green Inc
Mike came out and identified all of my trees. He diagnosed my magnolia and identified the cause of dead branches on my large holly. He wrote up the invoice for the work I wanted done. There was a delay in his return to do the work due to weather issues. The work was done beautifully! I would hire again!
