    They always pick up and drop off when they say they will. Plus, they stick by their work. We had our snowblower serviced in October to get it ready for the winter. But when we used it in February, it quit. They came to get it and put a new part on it, saying they should have done so in the fall, so we didn't pay for the pick-up/drop-off service.

    I can't believe how well this old rotary mower works after Mr. Russell sharpened and evidently oiled it as well. And at an unbelievable price. I noted that he sharpens knives and other items as well. I highly recommend his services!

    The dealer did not have a belt in stock, plus the person at the service deck said there is no warranty on my Snow Blower, and that I would have to pay for parts and labor.  The dealer was friendly when he sold me the snow blower, but very unfriendly with I needed service on my snow blower.  I called Snapper and getting nowhere as of now.  Thinking of sending mail to Bishop of their Mennonite Church.

    Paul works out of his house. His garage is well-organized and tidy. He also does traveling service for homeowners and lawn service companies. He is a certified auto mechanic and was involved in racing at one time.He keeps a tight schedule and is friendly and knowledgeable. He recognized the mower -- a Poulin only 1 year old -- and knew what its problem was. In 3-4 days I had it back running. He starts it up at his garage to show you he fixed it, gives you a detailed invoice and insists you call him if there are problems.

    It is a true value store. It is a family-owned business. It is an old fashion hardware store. If you want to buy one screw and you can buy one screw. They will answer any question you have about home improvements without trying to sell you a product. Their customer service is excellent. They maintained our old lawn mower for years and they never tried to sell us a new lawn mower. They have knowledge upon everything that they sell. It is just a wonderful store to go to. If they don't have something that you are looking for, they will tell you where you can get that. There is always someone to help you. The workers there are good. I would highly recommend them. I would keep using them in the future too.

    We use them every year and our experience with them has been very good. They came and picked it up and took it back for free and that was a real handy thing for us not having to worry about driving it up on our truck. We would recommend them to others. They have always done a good job, but the experience this time was that the bill was higher than we thought it should be. We called them and asked them how a $180 job got to be $280, but when I told them that we could get it done for free at the warehouse, they took it off.

    We purchased a new lawn tractor from Sears and paid an extra $65 for "premium" (or some such word) delivery because the salesperson said that would include installation of a mulching kit (which also cost extra). The first problem was that we received a phone call that we had to make a special trip back to the store to pick up the mulching kit, it would not be delivered with the tractor. A delivery confirmation call reiterated that the mulching kit was to be installed at time of delivery and told me we needed to have the kit at the house because it would not come with the delivery. I replied that we had it ready for installation. When the mower arrived, the delivery people said they do not install accessories. They said we would have to call the store when it opened (it was before store hours so I couldn't call anyone at that time) and ask to have a technician come to our house OR have the mower picked up, taken to the warehouse and re-delivered. Later, someone called to say that the delivery was on the way. I said they had already arrived and left, but there was a problem. Then the person said she knew there was a problem and they knew I would be upset, as the delivery instructions specifically said they were to install the mulching kit and they were not planning to do so. She said they would schedule a technician to come out the next day. I was then transferred to a service person I could barely hear and for whom English was obviously a second language. He would not/could not schedule someone for the next day, instead telling me the person would come on Saturday in a window of 4 hours. I was furious to have to block off half a weekend day for this.
