AAir-Tight LLCI contacted this company on a Friday afternoon I was given an estimate and the job was done by Wednesday morning. They were very efficient upfront I would highly recommend as I felt they were super reliable and quick to answer any questions that you had the installer of the blown in insulation was very helpful and they were very friendly. AKing Conservation Group, LLCThey did excellent work. As it was done through a program through UGI, UGI sent out an inspector afterward who commented on the quality of the work. The did an excellent job cleaning up afterwards and everything was done to my satisfaction. Although, I had the work done last fall, I have waited until now to review to see how the insulation worked. Over the winter, my heating bill was down a 3rd or more. Being a mild winter, I wanted to see how it would do in the summer. I have just paid the July bill with its record heat and the bill was still down 20%. AAll-In Insulation LLCThe two workmen that came to do the job arrived on time and only took a little over 2 hours to perform the job. They had to deal with a lot of phone and internet cable wires and also had to climb into a coal bin in order to reach the ceiling above that. They both worked very hard, and they both were very polite and respectful. I am very pleased with the job they did.- Joseph R.

ABasement Finishing by Hartel Constr. Grp., Inc.The Hartel team is absolutely a professional group. Martin's ideas and suggestions were extremely helpful for my wife and I to develop a plan we could agree on. From framing, to drywall, to electrical, to plumbing, this is one stop shopping. Their attention to detail is excellent. They come and go through the egress window eliminating dirt in the living area. The only time they entered the living area was when the items they had to bring in, drywall or doors, wouldn't fit through the window. At the end of every day, they swept the area they were working on, keeping the entire basement very clean. The job was completed in a timely manner and on schedule. I would absolutely use this contractor for any future basement remodeling.- Vick M.

AJ Murphy Contracting IncI hired J. Murphy Contracting, Inc. to finish my entire basement. It was designed and done totally by them. I now have four rooms, fully wired, with HVAC. All of the work was professionally done and it looks amazing. They even installed flat panel TV mounts in two rooms, with special "behind-the-wall" wiring for a clean look. The workers were super professional and left the space looking way better than it did before they began. The basement is a total showpiece! Outside of that, I have also hired J. Murphy Contracting, Inc. to build a large deck, install new doors and windows and run electric to a detached garage. All of these projects went well above and beyond any expectation I had. Their work is always top-notch and stand the test of time (deck is going on 4 years and still looks like a new build). These guys are well-versed in all aspects of building and contracting, and at this point they are the only ones I call when I need something. Their prices are always lower than others (and I usually get 3 to 5 quotes). I can STRONGLY recommend J. Murphy Contracting, Inc. to anyone with confidence.- James K.

FI put down a deposit 35 days ago for an expensive project. I knew I would have to wait for permits before the work could be scheduled. But apparently, Basements.com only applied for one permit and then had to apply for a second permit. That has delayed the start date. It's been a week since I got the second permit, but no one has contacted me with a start date. At the moment, it feels like I'm paying for nothing.

AWe had Mark and his crew make our Kitchen/Dining room into one big kitchen. Which requires removing a wall and putting vinyl plank flooring in new kitchen and Living room and ceramic tile in the foyer and powder room and laundry room. Also they put new lights in the kitchen. They did a awesome job. It was done in a timely manner at a very reasonable price. They cleaned up from their work each day before leaving. We would definitely recommend them for any of your home needs.

ADan and his son are an absolute dream come true and no one in our family will ever hire somebody else. Are basement was completely unfinished, and in fact had a lot of our junk all over, and Dan was able to listen carefully to our ideas and thoughtfully make recommendations as to what would work best. The end result is honestly so much better than we ever imagined. Our kids now spend a lot of time in the basement playing games and making memories. We could not be happier with our decision to trust Dan, and in fact we miss seeing him like we did during the project! After finishing our basement, all of our friends asked who was able to do such a good job, and subsequently we've referred Dan and his son to our in-laws and also our good friends for major projects. AI need help finishing my basement, and wanted to hire a local pro. These guys were a big help and did a great job and were very fast. They installed drywall around my furnace room and added soundproof insulation. They also installed drywall around the ceiling bulkheads and a few other areas to finish the basement, so that it was ready to paint. Everything came out looking very nice. I would recommended them and hire again.
