AYARNELL SECURITY SYSTEMSGreat. I had been with Yarnell for several years now (home alarm system) and have always been treated great by their employees. Last week we had a outside camera system installed and the installer was really a "people"person. He did a great job at hiding the wires and taking the time (and patience) to show us how to work it. I talked to my son about Yarnell and after talking to them he is having an alarm system put in his home in Middletown, PA and Yarnell gave him the best quote. Highly recommend them.- WAYNE M.

ASimpliSafe Home SecuritySimply Safe security systems are DIY installations. The instructions are excellent. When you call you will get to talk to a very professional representative. The only problem that we encountered was with the FOBs. They would stop working and then you would have to remove and replace THE SAME BATTERY and they would then work again. We eliminated this problem by carrying a touch panel in our car. As we have a sensor on our garage door, the alarm will activate if you don't shut it off. With the FOB you really didn't know if the alarm was on or off when you pressed the button. With the touch panel you could watch the screen and know for sure whether the alarm was on. The response when the alarm or smoke detector is activated is instant. The phone rings in seconds. I would suggest that you use the tape strips provided to get the sensors placed and when you are sure use the screws. I also suggest you call before you order so you are sure you get the module with the strongest signal for your area. You must have a cell phone signal for this to work. We have the program that costs $14.99 a month. NO CONTRACTS! The system works without the monitoring service but at $180 a year and a savings of $113 on my homeowners policy that's a net cost of $67 or less than $6 a mo. That is a great price for peace of mind. One other thing. Buy your system directly from the SimplySafe. While you can find the components at Amazon you will probably pay more. I priced a smoke detector and it was twice the amt. I paid for it from SimplySafr. We have had the system for over two years and love it!- Gary R.

AFrontpointWe looked at both a local security company and Frontpoint. The local company wanted a over $600 for install/equipment and reqruired a 5yr contract. We went with Frontpoint and we were glad we did. Customer service was great. The install was really easy. Certainly didn't need someone to do it. We did have one sensor that was defective out of the box. No problem, one was sent right away. We also ordered some extra window and door sensors after the initial install with no issues. Overall had a great experience.- David M.

FThe estimate was a sham - it took two and a half hours - the expectation was, once you put in all of that time, how would you just walk away from a renovation that was more than double of any other estimate, Then, the car -dealer borrowed sham - call into manager to get a better deal - twice!!! And the price was still way over market. But - if you booked it right then, $10,000 less than next day; $20,000 less than 9 months hence. The contractor would not provide an estimate, until you walked through every decision the bathroom renovation would entail. This was disgusting. I think also a sham for seniors. I would not recommend.
