    M. Johnson Excavating & Concrete Services
He had the inability and unwillingness to fix a problem that he created. On my patio, there is a very big rough area where I actually slit my toe on it at one point. He was suppose to fix it, and he came back in, and used cement of a different color. So now, instead of a nice even color, there is patches.

On the steps outside the door, he did a great job. I am glad that I was there, because if I hadn't been there, he wouldn't have done it the way I wanted it. He would've made made just a regular step out the door and a little paved area around that one step. What I wanted, was a large step so I didn't have to go out the door and step down immediately. I also wanted room for the dogs to be on that step to get in the house without having another step.

He is a character and he needs to calm it down. He needs to be more professional in his work, and fix his mistakes better. Initially, his responsiveness was wonderful. Once the problem was noted, his responsiveness was horrible.

    A+ Masonry Restorations LLC
This is by far the best contractor we ever worked with.  On time, reasonably priced, great clean up and the jobs done were all fantastic. After this last job we realized we had no more work for him to do...maybe we can find something else!!! Will recommend him to everyone. His name says it all A+ Restorations although we would give him A+++++.

    Gray Construction
We were so pleased with this company.  Mr. Gray came out to our home within a few days of calling.  He was very knowledgeable and gave thorough information to help us choose the best product for our needs.  He had very positive things to say about his company's reputation and we found them all to be true.  His plan included grading for the new patio so we could eliminate the need for our antiquated drain system (another company we talked to were going to charge us to redo the drain, he let us know it wasn't needed and actually better for the house to grade everything away).  Installation went well, the product is absolutely beautiful, and they returned a few days later to cut a notch out when we realized our new fence post needed a different spot than originally thought.  We will use them again when we decide to do our front and side walks.  Great experience, highly recommend!

Corby L Ziegler Concrete & Construction
Cory met with my husband asking what we wanted done, Do you want to keep the current layout? Corby laid out a design explaining why we should consider enlarging the width change how the sidewalks go to both driveways.  W e were very pleased with hiring Corby he was very professional,  the cost was reasonable the quality of the workmanship was top notch.

    Bob Mowday
I much appreciated Bob's service from start to finish. I generally rely on personal referrals for service work but I didn't have much luck getting anyone else to bid the job.
I actually called Bob in November a year ago and we tried to get the sidewalk installed in Q4 2014. The weather never cooperated and he indicated that he was not willing to pour the sidewalk in weather conditions that he deemed sub-optimal for a quality finished product, which I respected. We agreed to revisit the project in the spring.
He called me in the spring, as promised. In the end it didn't fit my schedule until just recently. But we did connect and the sidewalk was in less than two weeks later.
I thought that they went above and beyond in site prep. There were some overgrown beds and pavers that had to be removed; they hauled all of it away. The actual sidewalk itself was very well done, exactly as we discussed. The yard was cleaned up well when they left.
It was only very recently installed, so I can't comment on its longevity or durability. But my experience with Bob's service thus far gives me reason to be optimistic. He will be the first on my list to call in the future.

    Bob Mowday
He removed all old material and put in a new cement floor. Bob gave me an estimate and a timeframe for getting the work done on the spot. He also came in well under the 2 other bids I got.. I was satisfied with the work done until I had garage doors installed. He did not slant the back and when it rains, the water streams in to the garage. It took 4 phone calls to get him to come and look at it. He said he was redo at cost. Now it has been 4 weeks and I haven't heard back from him about fixing his mistake.

    • Work was done ahead of schedule. Bob fit this project in to a tight time schedule and still completed ahead his proposed timing.
    • The work-site was always clean and presentable. The finished work is high quality. He returned daily for the three days after the concrete was poured for finishing and to ensure satisfaction.
    • Bob is a contractor that takes pride in a job well done.

Steve Brossman has been in the driveway
seal coating business for twenty years or more. He was prompt to
respond to my phone call for an estimate. Steve and I agreed on the
price and the scope of work sealing our contract with a
handshake. He demonstrated that he is a man of his word and can be
trusted to do the job with pride and craftsmanship. It should be
noted that there was no up front money requested and no
salesman to deal with as Steve with a helper do all the work. The
    finished projects looks great!

I had a chain link fence on one side of my property that needed to come down. The first 1/3 of the fence was along the patio and the posts were sunk in a concrete curb. The rest of the fence was along my flower gardens. The posts in the yard were sunk in large blobs of concrete. I had two options: he would cut the posts off level with the concrete or he would dig out the concrete blobs that held the posts. I opted for the less expensive choice: cutting the posts off level with the concrete. He did the job while I was at work. When I go home the fence was down and everything related to it had been carted away. What impressed me the most was that my gardens had not been disturbed at all! He is flexible with scheduling and priced competitively.

I can't say enough positive things about our experience with this company (I'm not a friend or relative, was referred by another contractor). Rick was everything we could have asked for. The work was done at a reasonable price and the estimate was right on, an on par with other estimates we got. What really blew us away was his professionalism. He was punctual, clearly explained the project verbally and in writing, and worked around our family's need for the timing of the project. Beyond that he provided documentation of the oil tank removal in the form of a letter and even sent photos of the project in process, for verification. The work was done in five days. And he actually left the job site better then it was when he left (he laid down mulch that we hadn't even requested but really helped clean up the site. He had clear communication before, during and after the project. Really exceptional, worthy of my first Angie's List posting.
