Wonderful! I have witnessed their care from puppy stage through to end of life of 2 of my dogs. They are always a compassionate, knowledgeable and informative. Dr.Schreiber has even called us on the weekend to check in on our Sonny when he wasnt doing well. You wont find a better vet!

I can usually catch her anytime and get an appointment quickly.  She is fast.  If I am running late I don't have to worry about my dog she makes sure he is ok.  I am quite pleased with her service.  She is good with my dog, he doesn't mind going.  She is patient, because he can be fussy sometimes.

We have been using them for a long time, at least 15 years. We just like them there. They are pretty thorough. It depends on what doctor you get or if you request a doctor, it can take longer. The staff is fine. We had a dog that passed away a year ago and we used them for her. There are a couple of things that I thought could have been done a little differently but other than that they are fine.

We have used Perfect Pooch four times and and we are very pleased with their service. The dogs come home clean and exhausted (that's a good thing!). While there has never been any emergencies so far (crossed fingers), we are confident if something did happen they would take care of it in a timely and professional manner. Their price is somewhat higher than other kennels in the area but we think it is worth it for our ( and our dogs) security.

I have been using Sues Pet Pampering walking service for my dog for over 9 years now. They walk my dog 5 days a week while am at work. Sues walkers are reliable and they never miss a day, no matter what the weather is. Many times they have visited my house when it was snowing and schools and most businesses were closed. I always have peace of mind that they will show up and take good care of my dog. Sue has always come through when I have asked for a second night time visit at short notice when I had to work late. My current walker has been walking my dog for several years now. I know my dog looks forward to her visit every day.

Sue and her team (especially Lonnie and Jenny) walk my rescue dog every day while I am at work. My dog is from an unknown situation and I got her when she was two years old with some major issues. Sue and her team work with me and the dog to make sure we can figure out a way to make my dog comfortable to walk ever day. They are so patient with her even when she can be so stubborn and refuse to walk. I always get updates if my dog is having a rough day and I always come home to a note about whether she went to the bathroom and how the walk was. They are very flexible with any changes I might need to make with my schedule and have even come to walk the dog on a Saturday when I have needed them to. Sue and her team have really become another part of my dogs family and I wouldn't trust anyone else to walk her every day!

There really aren't enough good things to say about Sue and her service. She comes and feeds my "guys" twice a day and leaves me a detailed report on how they're doing. Turns out the last time I went away I was leaving out too much food for them and she suggested dialing it back to one can in the a.m. and one in the p.m. which worked out better as there weren't tons of food sitting around uneaten and being thrown out. She knows them by heart and has put in enough time with our shy guy that now even he comes out to greet her. I think her prices are very reasonable and I like the fact that you can let her know you're going away a week before you go and she's fine with that.

In the King of Prussia area, Sue's the best! I definitely would recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter.

Today was my first time at Blackwood Animal Hospital as I recently moved to the area.  I brought my Maine C*** Mixed Breed in for his annual check-up, and Rabies vaccine.  I had an appointment scheduled for 9:45 a.m. When I arrived on time, and announced myself the two receptionists did not greet me properly.  They look confused about who I was, and didn't immediately assist me.  They patted a bunch of files around the desk, looking for mine.  Finally, one of them asked, "are you new?" And, I responded that yes it was my first appointment.  They gave me forms to fill out.  This was red flag, as I assumed they would know who was coming in and when as I had an appointment, but I let it go as just some morning disorganization.  As I was filling out paperwork one of the receptionist proceeded to ask me some questions about my cat.  One of them was, "do you want him to receive the FVRCP vaccine today?"  I responded that I wanted to speak with the vet directly about that vaccine.  A few minutes later when I brought the paperwork up to the desk, the same receptionist asked me, "do you want him to receive the FVRCP vaccine?"  There were zero other patients in the waiting room, and this was approximately 3 minutes after she asked me the first time.  It is not like she was taking care of other patients, and could have been distracted by them.  I responded again that I wanted to talk to the vet about that vaccine.  There was no acknowledgment or flash of recognition from her that we had this same exact exchange moments before.
After about a 10 minute wait, we were brought back to the exam room.  The vet was great with my cat.  There was no vet tech in the room.  My cat calm enough (thought scared), that we were able to get through the physical exam and rabies vaccine unassisted.  The vet answered all of my questions intelligently and thoroughly.  I was very pleased.  At this point, the review would have been 5 stars. The vet directed me to the check-out desk to check-out, pick up my cat's Revolution, pay, and leave.
At this point, there was one person, a dog-owner, in the waiting room.  I stood at the same reception desk for about 10 minutes.  There were three people behind the desk.  No one spoke to me.  I felt I was being patient.  Finally, after about 10 minutes, I said, "I am waiting to check-out." And I was told they were, "waiting for the chart . . . "  Occasionally, one of the three receptionists would leave and come back.  Hopefully, I stood there, waiting patiently.  My boyfriend, who was there with me, eventually took our very stressed out cat to a bench in the waiting area and sat back down.  Another ten minutes passed while I stood there.  The guy with the dog was brought back to see the vet.  Finally, I asked again, "Could I pay and leave?"  I was told it would be a little while, and I should sit.  35 minutes after leaving the exam room, I had hit my limit.  There were no other patients waiting.  The guy with the dog had been seen, and was actively "checking out."  There were no apologies, or updates.  Finally, I stood up, and said, "I would like to pay my bill, and receive my Revolution and leave.  I am leaving in 2 minutes.  If you want me to pay now, you can bill me within the next two minutes.  Otherwise, I am leaving and you send me a bill."  Within two minutes (amazing how the threat of non-payment expedited things!), my bill was produced.  I paid, and was told they didn't have the Revolution in stock.  I was given a script to order the medication online (very inconvenient, and why did it take them now 40 minutes to figure this out?).  The guy with the dog left the office--now it was just me!  The prescription I was handed was for the incorrect weight of my cat.  I brought this to there attention, and there was another long wait.  All told, it took me 45 minutes to check out!  Without the meds I needed!  And when I told the three receptionists that I wanted to lodge a formal complaint, I received a pat "I'm sorry" followed by a defensive explanation of "having to wait for the chart and the script."  There is no reason it should take 45 minutes to check out from a vet's office when there are only two patients (me and 1 one other person), and 3 receptionists/vet techs behind the desk.  The worst part, and the reason I was so agitated, is that my poor cat is sitting on the bench in his crate, completely stressed out to be in a new environment and making stress sounds.
I would love to say I would come back to this vet because the actual doctor was great, but I am not willing to put my cat back through all the unnecessary waiting and stress.  Whomever owns this clinic really needs to work on training and organizing their staff better.  Overall, they were incompetent and rude.

I was impressed. She was very professional and organized. I liked that she didn't charge more for additional dogs and she is flexible! That is a plus with my crazy schedule. She will walk my guys in two days and we will go from there.

Sue does a wonderful job of looking after our 3 cats when we take a vacation. If we email her asking for an update, she sends it to us right away. The last time we went away we ended up having to leave for the airport earlier than anticipated and at the last minute I asked Sue if she could come by and feed our guys that evening. She got right back to me saying she would which really took the stress out of worrying if they'd have enough to eat until she got there the next day. Sue leaves detailed day-to-day commentary about how the cats are doing, what they're eating and who is playing with whom. It's a very good feeling to know our guys are in such good and capable hands. Anyone looking for a pet-sitter in the KoP area should be using her services!
