    Yeager Heating Services
Can't say enough nice things about Dan and Pete. Interviewed a bunch of companies to install an HVAC system and hot water heater into my new home and Yeager's was the most responsive, most professional, most detailed and had the best quote. They are honest, patient, hard working guys who know what they are doing and care about their customers. Their work is meticulous and I would recommend them in a heartbeat.

    John Morgan Contracting
Fantastic. If I could give John an A+, I would. He really knows what he is doing, and all the installs and repairs went great. He really went the extra mile to make sure I understood all of the work he was doing and why. John made sure I was happy with every aspect.

    MEYERS SUPPLY CO
Slow response to email. Two-week wait for an appointment. Plumber could not fix the problem as he said the whole bathroom floor needed to be replaced, including tearing out the vanity. To fix the toilet! There is a good subfloor under the vanity. The problem, according to the plumber, was when the floor under the toilet was repaired about ten years ago, that plumber used particle board, which got wet, so now the toilet bolts won't hold. I suggested just replacing the flooring in the area of the toilet. He was doubtful. He mentioned putting in new click-lock flooring, as well. So instead of addressing the issue of a wobbly toilet, he wanted to remodel the bathroom. The plumber wasn't sure he could get the bolts back in, after pulling the toilet out. I offered to get some pieces of plywood I have in the basement, just for a temporary fix to possibly help to hold the bolts till he could get back, but he said no, he'd be there for hours, and he had a lot of appointments. The owner was supposedly going to call me that day to make another appointment, but I never heard a word. I asked to have the $125 "toilet reset" fee applied to any future work, but the plumber said he couldn't do that. So I am out $125 and am no closer to having the toilet fixed than I was 3 weeks ago, when I first emailed for an appointment. If they had called me back, I would still have tried to work with them, and reach some reasonable scenario for just fixing the things that need to be fixed, but they have just moved on.

    Benjamin Franklin Plumbing
It was a job that sounded easy, but turned out everything that could go wrong could. Simply described, it was a clogged bathroom sink where the pipes were clogged and also rusted. He tried everything from from using his electronic snake many times to cutting the basement pipes to make a short new clean route, but we had no luck and ending up having to cut an entirely new drain through the floor. He ended up being at my house most of the day and was still very professional even after everything going wrong. He tried everything he could to make sure the job did not cost too much, but it really was the worst case. I was there to verify everything and am sure he did the best job possible. A really good guy that I would hire again. I'd say it was pretty expensive for just a clogged drain job (that turned out everything that could be wrong was), and after watching him I could probably do it myself for cheaper but it would have taking like twenty times longer and would not have been as nice as a job as he did. I'm not going to say how much it cost, but he earned it.

    Roto-Rooter
Brian and his assistant did an excellent job. They were here for a little less than 2 hours. In addition to installing the faucet, they discovered a problem with the garbage disposal that had some debris. They fixed that as well. I thought the charges were a little on the higher side. They accepted a coupon which helped. However, I was extremely satisfied with their service. Did a professional job. After the installation, they checked to make sure there were no leaks etc.

    Kamziks Sewer & Drain Cleaning
They cleaned the sewer line since we were having backups then they camera it, so we can't find where the block ups are happening, they just clean it out and camera it to make it look like a good pipe so you just keep calling them for $150 a pop. Two times was enough and had another guy come and first thing he did was put the camera down the pipe and bam there was the blockage. This guy found the problem and fixed the problem, no more paying out for just a clean out of the pipe. The problem cannot be determined by Kamzik's only temporarily fixed, to keep you coming back. I would recommend using someone else if you need something fixed.

    Premier HomePro (240) 223-7034
Alan presented us with a few design plans and the one we selected for the kitchn plan included knocking out a bearing wall to enlarge the space and create a more open concept. It was a little more expensive because it required a structural engineer, an architect and a kitchen designer, but it was really worth it in the long run. Once the work commenced, they were there every day without fail. The men removed the wall, ran new electrical circuits and plumbing lines, moved the duct work, floor and sub floor. When it was totally stripped out, the carpenters straightened out the old walls, reinforced the ceiling with a new header and put recessed lights and pendent lights in for the new kitchen layout. Our design called for the installation of a large range vent hood and that took 4 men to install due to the weight. We doubled the size of our kitchen and placed an island right where the wall was removed and that also needed new electrical circuits. The project went pretty smoothly with the exception of a few items associated with the age of the house, but the project manager quickly found solutions which made sense and we all agreed to after reviewing all the options. Once all the internal pieces were installed and the walls and ceilings were leveled out, they went to town putting in the drywall, cabinets and fixtures. Their designer did a wonderful job with texture and color coordination and now we have an awesome kitchen that is the focal point of our home and the center of everything we do in the house. The porch was a very large project that I had tried to tackle myself but most of it was overhead and reaching overhead for hours at a time was killing my back. I gained a new appreciation for the type of work that carpenters do and turned the remainder of the porch over to the guys at PHP. Within a week, all the old paint was scraped, the bad wood was replaced, the new steps were sent in concrete and they painted it with three coats of exterior paint. We had to upgrade the rail to meet the latest codes but it integrates seamlessly into the existing look and design. We are extremely pleased with the level of professionalism and speed that Brian and Alan showed us during this project from beginning to end. We highly recommend Premier HomePro to anyone who needs home remodeling and are currently talking to them about remodeling out old bathrooms and master bedroom. Nice job all around

    McCleary R C & Son Plumbing & Heating
Originally came to install a gas heater I purchased from Home depot but could not get it to work. Offered to repair the boiler in the basement instead to try to get it working after I said another repairman told me it was cracked. The pump needed to be replaced, so he did that but the boiler still did not work. Also repaired a pipe in the basement that had a hole in it, although this was not requested. Left remaining copper pipe in my home for over 2 weeks before coming back to get it. Not a big deal to me at all but others may have found it unprofessional to leave excess material behind. I appreciate that he tried diligently to install the gas heater from home depot, I later found out it was faulty and would have never worked. I'm sad that I basically paid $330 for a new pump on a broken boiler. Nice guy, but still in the same boat.

    J A RODDA PLUMBING HEATING & E
Came Tuesday first of all after 9 told me at 10 that my system was completely destroyed (how did he check 7 radiators in a 4 story house never leaving the basement?) and that the pump wasn't going to work. Then instead of offering to refund the balance of the $525 he received up front on his $725 running estimate he offered to instead install 3 gas space heaters for $450 each (Only $269.00 at Lowes) and $85/hour for the four hour mounting installation (even though the heaters come with feet)

    Christian's Plumbing

We had used Christian's Pluming 1 time before and were pleased with Jarrod's work. My husband called and told Jarrod what we needed done as my husband nor I are able to do the basement stairs any longer. Jarrod called later that evening to tell us how much it would cost and that he would be there the next day to do the work. He estimated around $600 as he was basing that on the job taking 6 hours. Jarrod arrived the next morning at the time he said he would and he started doing the job. The floor in the room where we were putting the washer and dryer was hardwood. So before Jarrod came I put down a vinyl floor just tacking around the edges, as to not do any damage to the hardwood if anything should lead from the appliances, I had to do this myself as my husband was too ill to help me, I had to work from a small stool as I could not kneel on my 2 replacement knees. The vinyl floor turned out really nice, I explained to Jarrod why I put the Vinyl floor down and told him it was only tacked on the edges. I did not stand and watch Jarrod as he did the job. He asked me if I wanted all the plumbing to run down one hole, Not being a plumber I told him yes as I assumed this was the way the job would need to be done. He also drilled a 4and quot; hole for the dryer vent to pass through. Jarrod was done in 4 hours and he cleaned up his things and went to his truck to make up our bill. After Jarrod had left and my husband felt well enough to go in and see the work that Jarrod had done. My husband got very upset when he saw that Jarrod had drilled one 4and quot; hole for all the plumbing lines to pass through and had not made a separate hole for each line to pass through. I also saw a white line coming from the dryer vent hole. I discovered that the vinyl floor had 2 tears in it. There was a 12and quot; rip and a smaller triangle piece totally torn away and just laying there. My husband called Jarrod and told him that he was not pleased with the job that he had done and that I was very upset that he did not tell us that he ripped the vinyl flooring. My husband gave me the phone as he needed to sit down because of his illness. I told Jarrod I was very upset and told him that I felt him asking me if I wanted all the lines to run through one hole not right as he was the plumber and I believed he would be doing the job at my home the same way he would do it if he were doing it in his own home. I told him that he should not have charged us the entire amount that he charged to which he replied that he would come and take all the things he purchased and put in my home back out! Needless to say that conversation did not end well. I told him I was going to put a review on Angie's List and that seemed to be the only thing that upset him. That I would be dragging him name through the mud. I told him I will only be reporting the way he did the job. I will not be calling him for any other plumbing problems.

Oh and by the way, the first job he did in July 2014, with our leaking toilet, I went down the basement the other day and the toilet is still leaking in the basement!
