    Mr. Fix It All
He came out and looked at what needed to be done, promising to get back to me with a quote. 2 months or more later I get a text out of nowhere asking me if I still wanted an estimate on the work. He said there were a lot of people ahead of me. That was not indicated initially, nor was I told it would take that long to get an estimate.

    Cahill Construction Company
Doug was very professional. He came with two men, all three worked hard for the entire day (minus a 30 minute lunch) in the 90 degree temperatures. They stayed until 7 pm to finish the job on Friday. Each step was coordinated in a way that allowed for the maximum productivity. For example, when drywall mud was drying the rails were cut for the new porch. All three jobs were done over two days. Doug Cahill was the best "handyman" we have ever hired. His job here was to repair renovations that other men have done, some of them more than once. As of now we are very happy with the work and will definitely call Doug for the next job we need done.

    Cahill Construction Company
Doug and his team arrived on time and did a great job creating a place for the dishwasher. They reused the existing wood to make the dishwasher look as it was designed to be there. They cleaned up after they finished their work. Also reconfigured (fixed) plumbing and electrical while they installed the dishwasher.

    Chris Jackson's Contracting
It went fabulous. These guys are great. They did have to come back after the door levers were installed because they weren't latching correctly. Not something they did wrong, but I appreciate the responsiveness in correcting the issue of the door not lining up correctly. Anything and everything they have ever done for us has been great. I have dealt with contractors before and sometimes they are not as good as promised to be. However, I am very, very, very pleased with Chris and his crew. I had no issues with leaving this company in my home. They work very well together, we are very pleased with this company and the price we paid for the job.

    Caputo Construction
Greg Caputo was amazing during every aspect of the job.  I received a reply the same day that I tried to contact him on Angie's List.  He came to the home 3 days later to take a look at the work needing do be done. I received a written estimate 3 days later. Greg then started the work approximately 2 weeks from that day.  Since I was going to be out of town during this period, Greg offered to send pictures of how the work was going.  He was in contact with me daily during the reconstruction. I actually received a picture of the completed work on my way home from being out of town. Upon arriving home, I check the work done on the dormer and it looked amazing both inside and out.  The S&F was replaced and the gutter was rehung, looking as good as new.  Greg came over the next day to obtain the remainder of the money we owed him for the job.  I plan to use Greg Caputo Construction for any of the other work I have in the future.  Couldn't have had a better experience.

    Keenan's Handyman Service
His name is Galen Keenan. I got him from Angie's List. He was punctual. He did what I hired him to do. I wasn’t disappointed. With regard to price, I didn’t shop around. I am not looking for someone cheap at their work; I am always looking for somebody that is good. The quality seems to be good. I would absolutely use him again in the future.

    East End Remodeling
He did a wonderful job, our home is older with uneven floors and walls but he made sure everything lined up.  He even helped us come up with a better layout and design for our kitchen.  His tile work is beautiful. He definitely knows what he is doing and does a fantastic job.

    Gentleman's Construction
Chris performed the works that we asked and was have already asked for Chris to quote out more work at the property.  We will be using Chris as our main comtractor as he is fair with his pricing and the speed of the quote and work is what we are looking for.  This is a rental property that I manage and we would highly recommend Chris for any job.

    Don Lane
The painting of my front door was very sloppy -- the painting itself and splattering all over the door jams.

Driveway sealing has already worn away and the sealer was splattered all over the garage door.

When hanging a mirror Don drilled a hole in the wrong place and covered it with the mirror fixing it or telling me about it. I happened upon it myself.

I asked him to clean and fix my grill...after he was finished, 1 burner was still not working And the grill had not been cleaned.

The power washing he did to my deck and furniture was shoddy, as well as the staining of my deck.

He hung curtains in a bedroom and a hose in my garage which were fine..

    Ken's Contracting
The first job - shower tile repairs - went well.  We were excited to finally have a reliable handyman.  The medicine cabinet and shower pipe installation also went well.  As time passed we found that the other jobs were not done with as much care.  We had the fence done and a week later we recevied a call at the beach that one section was "flapping" in the wind due to a few short screws.  As it turns out, the fence is not attached to the posts properly,  but most sections have not "flapped" loosly.  The porch had to be repaired by another handyman because it was secure.  The floor boards began moving which caused the posts to lean.  We had concerns that the roof would fall.  The new guy showed us brackets that should have been used during construction.  He marveled at the poor workmanship.  Ken had two young helpers do this work with him. (I saw them working and him on the phone in his truck on several occasions.)

He did several jobs for us over a few years.  In totality it costs us nearly $16,000.  (I kept the receipts and pictures of the work, as I do during all projects.)  I feel he saw easy money since we have no knowledge nor skills regarding home repairs, therefore, would not question his work -- until it was too late.  Needless to say, we haven't called him for a few years.
