    Service Friendly LLC
Jeffrey Elliott (Owner) returned my initial call and said he could stop out in an hour to diagnose my washing machine. Three hours later he finally arrives... and spends less than an hour reading the same manual I could have read... only to tell me there isn't any way to really diagnose the washer. So, he recommends that we throw the most expensive electronic part on the washer and HOPE. He gives me part number(s) and tells me to call and order the part myself and go pick them up. Then tells me I need to pay a 'trip' charge and labor hour totaling $110... and that it would apply to the repair when I have the part. I called that day and ordered the part which was ordered on a Tuesday and came in on Thursday. I've called and texted several times (over two days) before finally just driving 30 minutes (to the parts place he recommended) to pickup the part myself. I ended up having to install the part myself... which did NOT fix the issue. I've now had to call back and order the second most expensive part on the washer.... WITHOUT ANY CONTACT BACK FROM JEFFREY! So, I'll be driving another 30 minutes tomorrow... and putting that part on myself as well. So, I should have just lit $110 on fire... it would have been a more enjoyable way to waste money!! He took my check... deposited it the same day... NEVER TO BE HEARD FROM AGAIN!! Stay away from this scam artist... lessoned learned.

    Sears Appliance Repair
The service techs are very friendly and I give them a decent rating. They did well on a dishwasher repair. However, several attempts were made to repair an refrigerator's in-door ice maker and each time it functioned properly for only a short time. The ice maker's "flap" would/will not open or close properly to allow ice out, or prevent room heat from entering. It appears (not confirmed) that they are replacing parts in a scripted order rather than pinpointing the problem. The worst part is that Sears hounds you unceasingly to purchase extended warranties, sometimes calling twice a day for weeks and weeks. I had to tell them to stop calling and had them put me on their do-not-call-list as our business is done forever. I no longer do business of ANY kind with Sears. I know Sears does not actually make their appliances, but we have had problems with all (dishwasher, ovens, refrigerator, microwave). From now on I will go to Sears' original manufacturer for repair service and never again will purchase Kenmore.

    Sears Appliance Repair
We had several large appliances in need of servicing, even though they were all less than 5 years old. Maybe that says a lot about the quality of Kenmore products. The in-home service people were generally very good and very personable. However, the serviceman had to return because one of the serviced appliance worked only intermittently after repair. I did not have to pay for the second service call, but I had to purchase additional expensive repair parts. I had to wonder if they dont just start replacing parts in a scripted order rather than actually diagnosing the real problem. Sears repairs also have a very short warranty period. The biggest problem is the contact people from Sears. They are very rude on the phone. Worst of all, they continually hound you to purchase extended warranties, calling several times a week for weeks on end. I finally got fed-up and told them to put me on their do not call list. The experience was so horrible that I have never purchased anything from Sears since then, nor will I. Since Kenmore appliances are merely re-branded products from a major manufacturer, in the future I will forgo Sears and contact the original manufacturer for service.

    STEVENSON APPLIANCE REPAIR
Mr. Stevenson explained the situation. He diagnosed it quickly, and went to work. It was a frozen drain in the freezer that wasn't allowing moisture from the defrost cycle to drain properly It didn't require any replacement parts. He was here less than an hour.

    Sears Appliance Repair
It was good. They came, they saw the problem, got the parts and put it in. It's still working. The price was what we expected, it was average. It wasn't high and it wasn't a bargain. They were out here quick, we got it fixed within a day. They weren't out here immediately. I guess I can't expect that. The work was good, I would use them again.

    STEVENSON APPLIANCE REPAIR
Everything was good.  Bob came on a Friday and figured out what was wrong and needed fixed.  He was back the following Thursday with the parts and the washer works great.  Bob was on time for both appointments.  Great customer service!

    Roger's Appliance Parts
Our twenty-one-year-old refrigerator appeared to stop working for a while yesterday afternoon.  I called Roger, since he had been out at our house a year or so ago when we had a problem with this appliance.  He asked me a couple of questions, and since the refrigerator seemed to have begun working again, we agreed that he would come today to look at it.  He arrived on time (as always) and spent several minutes looking at the refrigerator, which was running perfectly (of course).  He said he'd charge us for the service call, but if the refrigerator appeared to stop again, he'd come right back.
Roger is "old school" in the sense that he is a gentleman, and he believes in providing excellent service while also keeping the customer informed about exactly what he is doing.  We would hire him again without a second thought, and I would encourage anyone with any problem that might fall within Roger's purview to give him a call.  You won't regret it!

Sears Carpet Cleaning & Air Duct Cleaning
The technician for AE made multiple visits to my home to repair ice maker /water dispenser in my refrigerator. With each visit he did not cover his shoes and tracked grass/dirt on my white tile, he asked for a ladder to work on wires he could not see on top of the appliance and constantly commented that he had other jobs to do. The first and second visit we provided a ladder for him. Finally, on the last visit my husband asked him, "Doesn't Sears provide you with a ladder?" The technician then became agitated, went to his truck and came back with a ladder. Every comment was short and made us feel like he was wasting his time in our home with every encounter we had with him.

    Service Friendly LLC
Jeff was highly astute, experienced and professional. He was a joy to chat with during the service call as well. He was able to, within minutes, have the washer disassembled and locate the issue. Before he arrived I had started to remove pieces which he reassembled for us as well. He txt'd before he was to arrive to verify that we were available too. I had reached out via email late one evening through his website and he responded the following morning and arrived that same afternoon. We've since called him again for a few other minor issues and he's always been prompt, a pleasure to chat with and fairly priced. He's always been able to solve our issues and explain why they happened and how to prevent them from happening in the future. He's very concerned with making sure you understand the service that he's performing and helping to educate you with his experience and knowledge. I would recommend Jeff and Service Friendly to anyone in a heartbeat. Since just moving to the area we were apprehensive about who to call but Angie's List helped us make the perfect decision. Thank you both!

When he saw the problem he called his supplier and ordered the part. He said at that time it would be at the end of the week. He left a message Friday and said the part was in. I called back on Saturday and he came right out to finish the job.
When he was done he explained the bill, which I was pleased with the price.
