    Nye Guy Landcapes
It didn't - they came and looked at my yard, said they would have a quote within two weeks and never got me a quote, even after I reminded them on at least two occasions. I wound up waiting 6 weeks until I finally gave up on them.

    MUSSER'S TREE SVC
Dan came out to my home on the day I called and gave me an estimate.  The men from Musser's came to my home the next day and removed the tree.  They were all very nice and friendly.  They cleaned up the area very well and took away all of the debris.

    D&S Tree Service

Everything went very well, Dave and his helper are great to deal with.  Listened to any concerns and explained the process of their work.  Though we recently purchased this home, the trees were in much need of attention. D&S was working at a neighbors home and the quality of their work was evident so I had them provide an estimate and scheduled the work a few days later.  I'm confident stating if you engage D&S Tree Service you also will be pleased.

    Eichelberger's Tree Service LLC
Service was outstanding. They went above and beyond our needs by removing extra ground clutter and tree/limbs. Work very h****** hedgerow removing trees, clearing ground clutter and topping overhanging canopy.  They showed on time and provided on the spot written estimate. They started work on time and left the hedgerow in very nice condition. Removed a lot of trees, picked up all limbs, sticks and leaves. We are very very satisfied with their work performance.  Reasonable price and could meet our schedule the following week. Others were about the same price or higher but all said it would take 4 to 6 weeks to schedule work. Eichelberger's were responsive, reasonable price and responsible for all work performed.  A very satisfied customer.

    Martin's Tree Service
Very pleased! I called and left a message; received a return phone call and got an estimate the very same day. Very reasonable price for the work. I needed a pretty quick turnaround, and they were able to accommodate me. Called them on a Saturday and the job was done on Wednesday afternoon. I'll definitely use Martin's again

Moten's Inside & Out Landscaping and Cleaning
TERRIBLE!!! I would not recommend them to anyone and highly discourage anyone else to do so.
First, I expected them to arrive first thing in the morning, which for me means prior to 8am.  I actually thought that they might not be coming, because I didn't hear from them until after 9 am and they didn't arrive on at my house until 10am.  They got to work right away and he had brought 3 guys and got straight to work.  At first I was very excited, they seemed to be getting a lot done, very quickly.  Soon the foreman left I assumed to take a load to the dump, which was fine there was a lot to be removed and it can only be expected that they would need to make multiple trips.  However, it turns out that a piece the equipment broke and needed to be repaired.  Again, fine things happen, but there was a noticeable slow down in the work getting done.  About 2:00pm, I was told that they couldn't finish today due to the rain, which again fine you can't control mother nature.  However, I was now told that I owed him $850 for the 8 hours and would need to pay him $425 for the hours they put in that day and that they we would owe them another $425 for them to come complete the job the next, but that there wasn't much left to do so if it didn't take that whole amount he would prorate his time.
The next week he again didn't show up until very late. This time it was 11:30pm.  Having not heard anything from him all day, I was out running errands with my kids and not able to be back at the house until approximately 1:00pm.  Around 1:30pm, he told me he was done and that I owed him the full $425, because he brought 3 guys the week before and 2 people this week and that it was 18 man hours and he had really worked more than that.  I wasn't about to get into it with him, so I called my husband, who told me to just pay them since I was home alone.  He would have been home at the end of the job had they worked the full amount we thought we had originally agreed to.
In the end, we did get a good bit of the work done, but it quality was beyond subpar and customer service was terrible.  We never got the written quote, I should have never let them start working without it.  Although many of the bushes cut back, no weeding was done and many of the bushes now look barren.  I specifically asked that the rose bushes be pruned and cut back, because parts of them were dead.  If that was going to take too much time, they could simply be pulled out and I would replace them with something easier to manage.  As you can see in the pictures, he simply used a hedge trimmer to cut the bushes back.  They still have dead branches and weeds growing up in the middle of them.  They didn't even bother to get all the clippings they trimmed out of the bushes.
Yes, I know I was asking for a lot, but I was more than willing to pay for that work.  That being said I feel like I was deceived into thinking I was getting a better deal than I did.  To top it all off the work was very sloppy and incomplete.  I would have been happy to have paid what I did and more if the work was done well and had been quoted that price from the beginning.  As it is, I can honestly say that I know why they had anything available, when all the other landscapers were full through the end of the summer.  Lesson learned.

    MEILY'S TREE SVC
When I called for a quote, they called me back within one day.  That same day they drove out to give me an estimate, which came in below a few others I had gotten.  Within a week of hireing them, they came out and performed the work.  They worked the entire time they were at my house, almost 6 hours.  The trees look great.

The team was great. Reggie came out to my house months in advance to scope out the project, explain options and work with my budget to help me understand trade-offs. As my needs changed he came out again to help prep for the job. The project took two days-one for cleaning up, one for planting. I'm very happy with the finished product. My house looks brand new!

    Martin's Tree Service
They showed up on time , worked efficiently and did a good job of shaping and trimming several trees.  However, dealing with the owner can be somewhat difficult. If you deviate from the original job estimate even slightly expect to be charged a significant amount extra. In this case cutting back one limb a bit more resulted in a charge of an extra $100. This work required only a couple minutes. During the job I heard complaints about how he (owner) disliked this kind of job. During the job a heavy piece of equipment was run over a newly installed concrete slab. I expressed some concern and the response I got was well it's too late now. Fortunately no damage was done but I did not appreciate the attitude. In closing the work is good if not excellent. But the attitude toward the customer is hard to take.

After several attempts to get this service done, we finally agreed to a specific date.   That morning, he didn't show at the scheduled time.   I called and he said that "his secretary messed up his schedule".

We agreed that he would come several days later at 11am.   He showed up about 10:30 and we did a quick walk through of the property.   He had two young guys with him and they started work at 11am.   He explained to me that the three would work separate areas so that they could finish more projects.   Well, that didn't happen.   Most of the time they worked with each other and therefore finished fewer projects.   The young workers he had with him needed constant direction of what they needed to do.    My yard was quite a mess and needed much work.   They weren't going to finish all of what needed done, but I expected them to do more than they did.

At one point I asked them to remove a large overgrown bush I had in the back yard and I got several excuses why it couldn't be done:   "My truck is too full, my blade on the chainsaw is too dull, and we don't have time."    He finally agreed to do it but did give me some attitude about it.

At 3:30 they promptly packed up their things to leave.   I paid for two specials - each one hour consultation and 8 hours of landscaping.   At that point, I had received one half hour consultation and 3 guys each sort of working for 4.5 hours.   That comes to 13.5 hours, not the 16 I paid for.   He argued with me for 10 minutes about the math and finally agreed that they would stay and work longer.   After about 40 minutes, I told them to just go.

This was not a good experience at all.   At one point he tried to tell me that my Russian Sage is the same thing as Lavender.   They are two different species.   A few days after the service, he sent me a "consultation" drawing of my property.   It was elementary art at best with my house positioned in the opposite direction.   I was present the entire day while these guys were working so I know what they did and didn't do.

I certainly would not rehire them for any work and would not recommend them to anyone else.
