    Paradigm Home Solutions
Working with Paradigm was easy from quote to finished work. This started out as exploratory--we had taken on a tiny amount of water during our first summer in the house. I called to schedule a quote, and Bob was able to come out within a few days. As he inspected the basement, he clearly explained everything that he was seeing. His expertise and willingness to talk through his recommendations in detail gave us a lot of confidence. This turned into a larger project when we took on a lot of water from a new area during a few days of severe storms. They worked with us to move up our first date and get on the calendar ASAP for the second round of work. They worked quickly and efficiently to do the first round of mold remediation and waterproofing, which involved removing damaged wood paneling, treating studs, installing a vapor barrier in a crawlspace/trench, and digging out basement window wells. The second day of work was the larger project. We had a small sump pump and hydrogap on one wall of the basement, but we needed to install drains to catch water from two additional walls. The existing sump pump wasn't large enough to handle it, so we needed a new system. Bernie and his crew showed up on time, and Bernie walked me through all of the work that they would be doing. Throughout the day, Bernie, Andy (an owner), and a couple of crew members took time to answer all of the questions that I had. They were patient, professional, and very customer-oriented. I am also very impressed with the quality of work that they did. They removed a wall and shower from the bathroom, rough casted and parged a wall, touched up parging on other walls, installed the drains, and replaced the sump pump. They pay attention to detail. Everything looks clean and solid, and they clearly know how to work efficiently. They are also very careful with clean-up--they didn't leave any dust or debris behind. Definitely wouldn't hesitate to hire them again!

    Worthington Basement Health Systems
Worthington Basement Health Systems took awhile to complete our window because there was a snag in the product. BUT Sean was in touch with us, working with the manufacturer on our behalf, and very professionally handled our concern. He did what he said he would do in a professional manner and I would definitely hire again. This company has been around awhile and takes pride in their work. We love our window!

    Waterproofing One
Again, excellent work! I've had a lot of contractors over the years, and these guys are top shelf! I would recommend them to anyone to do work at their home. Well prepared. I was so satisfied with the initial work (and price), that I had them perform other outside work at my home.

    Premier Waterproofing LLC
It felt like he was trying to line up a whole lot of meetings so he could get $49 from everybody. He didn't seem interested in doing any work for us. He looked at the wall and gave me his impression of what was occurring. I went ahead and hired my own people to do the repair work. He didn't offer to do it. He didn't ask if he could schedule it. He basically told me how to fix it myself.

    Main Line Waterproofing
Work went well and on schedule. Workers left area clean and hauled out debris.  Foreman Mark and owner Herb Fry Jr. kept us informed of work progress and gave clear explainations of what they were doing and why.  Workers left the basement broom clean and even came back after the project was finished  to help us move the largest appliances and heavy furniture back in place.
We are very happy with the results.  The basement is dry and clean, it feels as if  we have added a whole new floor to our home where we can work and store things in a clean environment without fears of water and salpeter.

    Waterproofing One
This home inspection was part of some sort of Angie's List deal and we had some confusion over what the service actually was. Estimate would be a better description than inspection; we bought an estimate for future basement work. We were concerned with the severity of water leakage we have , what damage it might be doing, and how immediately we should be fixing the problems. However we spent the majority of the time going over the services provided by Waterproofing One; going through some examples of previous projects they have completed. Upon later conversations with the rep, he assured me that if there was a serious problem he would have said something. Again we thought we had purchased a professional, basement specific, inspection with recommendations for any immediate action. An example would be that he explained how they would scrub and disinfect the walls to remove black coloring on the stones (presumably some sort of mold), but not if I should do that right now (possibly on my own) for health concerns. Perhaps our basement water is not very serious, which would be a good thing to hear. In regards to what was actually provided, everything was fine. He reviewed the cost and labor of everything they could do for our basement and emailed me estimates for each service within a few days. I gave an A to the price because it seems reasonable for the amount of construction work that would need to be done, but they are the first to provide an estimate so I really have nothing to compare them to.

Our initial poorer review has been adjusted given our disagreement over what service was purchased. They did fulfill their obligations.

    Basements Love Us Inc
After receiving 4 estimates to get my crawlspace
waterproofed I went with Basements Love Us. I have to tell you I was really
concerned about the quality of work being in a space 17? by 22? by 17? with
just a 36?by 36?entrance opening. Well it was a great experience from the front
office communication (Shannon) to the 4 workers (Clarence, Richard, Willie, and
Rob) they were very courteous and worked making sure that everything was
covered and sealed off from dust. They hauled the broken up concrete up 8
cellar steps hauled crush stone down 8 cellar steps than buckets of concrete
down 8 cellar steps. I commend them for the job they did. When they finished they
cleaned up the area. 3 weeks after wards we had a heavy rain and I had a small
puddle in the crawl space in an area that was not even part of the original
contract. I notified Shannon of the situation. She reported the situation and
within 2 days they were back again to look at what the problem was. To fix the
problem they had to break up about 3? more of concrete and add stone and cement
AT NO EXTRA COST. I cannot say enough about Basements Love Us. I recommend them
to anyone who has a water problem. They are a class A company and so are the people
    that work there.

    SOSTER BROTHERS CONTRACTORS
He started yelling at me because I made him close the hole, stating it was my fault. He threw some stones in it and put pieces of gutter covers over top of the stones. The last time I called, he had me on the speaker phone and was yelling at me with his foreman standing there telling me that I have to keep it clean. I have kept it clean but the problem still exists. He said he'll come out and look at it one more time.

    AJ Waterproofing
    A. J. Waterproofing was prompt at coming out to view the job and give an estimate.  The estimate process was a much better experience than what I went through with the larger basement waterproofing companies.  The day the job was scheduled the crew was on time, worked diligently and left the job site clean.  Given the amount of concrete, dirt, stone, and cement that was transported from the basement through the house, the crew did a great job and the final product looks and works great.

    Jamison Home Svc LLC
We had very heavy run back in April 2014 and water managed to enter into our basement through a small crack in our basement wall. We contacted Jamison for an estimate in May. Jim recommended correcting the crack on the inside using hydrophobic crack injection. He also suggested installing a window well and to regrade the soil away from our home. We chose to have both the crack injection and the window well installed to prevent any future water from entering. The crew did a great job and kept the area clean after they finished their work. After having this work completed for a few months, we have not noticed any instance of water entering our basement.
Our only issue was that we were told they were scheduled out about 6 weeks when we sent our down payment in mid June. We did not hear anything from them until we contact them at the end of August asking when the work would be done. Aside from that, the communication during the job was good. Overall, Jamison did a great job and we are very satisfied with the work done.
