Eye Care reviews in Glenside

    Fernandes, Dr. Eugene
He was good. I'm just kind of far and I had to keep coming for the glasses. They should get the prescription right for the eye glasses. He's very thorough but the people in the office don't seem to get the prescription right for the eye glasses. It was kind of cold in there at the time, they weren't very friendly. He wasn't very communicative.

    Weber, Dr. Amy E.
I'm sure Dr. Weber is quite intelligent but she does not listen and carries an attitude that comes across as, "I'm so much better than you.  I know everything."  However, listening is key to human interaction and also goes a long way toward a good Dr./patient relationship.  I subsequently went to another physician who didn't feel my styes were unimportant and actually did something to help them go away.

    Schneider, Dr. Jill T.
Dr. Schneider and her staff are great. The appointments can take a bit of time, but the people and attention are fantastic. She spends quite a bit of time with you and there is no feeling of being rushed. Most importantly, I totally trust her.

    Koch, Dr. David
Dr. Koch and his whole staff have an excellent rapport with his patients. When I enter I am first given some preliminary tests. Then I am seen by Dr. Koch who does a thorough exam. I have used him for contacts which are gas perm. He is very conscious in making sure they are the right prescription and fit for my eye. If I indicate that something is just a little off after I have been wearing them for a couple of weeks, I return to the office and it is tweaked for an exact correction for my comfort at his expense. I also have gotten many pair of eyeglasses there and his assistant is very knowledgeable about appropriate style and durability of frames etc. My overall experience has been exceptional and I highly recommend Dr. Koch and his staff.

    Weidig, Dr. Christopher
The doctor had a good bedside manner. He was very friendly and easy going. The staff were very courteous as well. My appointment was taken within a reasonable amount of time and my glasses were ready within a week. They have evening office hours as well which is convenient.

Thorp Bailey Weber Eye Associates Ltd
The office staff was very friendly and went out of their way to fit me in on what was clearly a very busy day in the office. The appointment was delayed over 30 minutes in the waiting room which I was getting frustrated about, but when I got to see Dr Weber, she apologized and explained the earlier delays which through her day off. Ultimately I was glad to have the problem solved and get rid of that foreign object sensation that drove me nuts for 2 days. Dr Weber did give me a bit of a Mom lecture to wear safety goggles before I left, but that is to be expected. Follow-up visit to make sure no lingering effects or damage was on time and efficient. Definitely recommend them for basic ophthalmology issues, cant really speak to their surgery skills, but I work locally and have heard many good reviews from other patients.

Each experience I've had with Dr. Kosvitch has been terrific. He's a great doctor -- very knowledgeable and professional but also funny and friendly. The new offices in Plymouth Meeting are a little hard to get to because of the Butler Pike road closure, but inside the offices are very nice. The staff are all very friendly, from the woman who checked me in to the woman at the glasses shop in the store. One other thing I like about going to this eye practice is that they don't do the puff of air anymore to check for glaucoma. They've got a new technology that is completely comfortable. I highly recommend this practice.

    Bailey Jr, Dr. Robert S
Received reminder of yearly appointment. Saw Dr. Bailey and, as usual, he answered all my questions and was enjoyable to talk to. Making an appointment can be difficult and must be made well in advance. Expect a busy office and can wait up to 1/2 hour before being seen. Dr. Bailey, however, is a great doctor.

    Weber, Dr. Amy E.
She is a good eye ophthalmologist and she knows what she is doing. She is pretty busy; it usually takes about three weeks to get an appointment. Her office is fine and clean. I have been using her for many years and will continue to use her services in the future for my eye care.

He is rated in the top 10 in the Philadelphia magazine every year. I would recommend him. He is so good and so busy. You have to book at least 6 to 8 months before. You see him once every couple years and when you leave your appointment they set you up with your next one. Everybody wants to go to him because he is so good, if he wasn't good, no one would want to see him. When you get in there, he sits and talks to you. I will continue to see him as long as he is in business.
