    Ben's Paving
The job was promised before Thanksgiving, and they did it before Thanksgiving. They came and got it done in the time described, and cleaned up well. I found a couple of things the next day that needed to be cleaned up, and he came back promptly and took care of it. Excellent job, good price,I would hire them again.

    JEFF CONNOLLY PAVING CONTRACTORS
They did a very good job. Nice thick coat, applied thoroughly. Were able to accommodate my request to sealcoat the driveway during a very busy period for them. My only very minor quibble was I had to call to obtain a paper invoice/receipt for the job, since none was sent or left.

All American Paving & Sealcoating LLC
George at All American Paving & Sealcoating LLC scheduled my driveway for Saturday, October 21 and his crew actually arrived earlier than scheduled (which was fine by me because that worked better for my schedule that day). George did call in advance that morning to let me know his crew would be arriving earlier. The workers completed the sealcoating of my 1,100 s.f. driveway in less than a half hour and did the job neatly and professionally. I would gladly recommend their sealcoating services to anyone.

    HORGAN BROTHERS
I had a few companies quote our driveway. It was crumbling, had weeds growing through it, and in some spots you could see through to the ground. Everyone except Horgan recommended resurfacing vs. replacing the driveway. Whether or not they had the equipment to do the former, resurfacing was a horrible idea and, had I hired them, I would have been looking to redo it again in 5 years or so. Mr. Kelly from Horgan was upfront and explained why a complete replace was necessary. He did not need to convince me as I went on and did some research on my own. The quote hurt a bit, but seemed reasonable for such a large driveway. The first layer went on really well. The crew of a half dozen or more people tore the driveway out and had the new layer down in about six hours. The instructed us to drive on and it "beat it up" as much as possible before the second and final layer. We took our time on that and they billed us for the first part. Six-eight weeks later they put on the second layer in much less time (of course). It really looks nice. It's just about perfect. One of the crew rant the roller into our garage a did a slight bit of damage to some trim. I might have noticed or maybe not, but the head of the crew told me right way. He was very apologetic, but it wasn't a big deal as the garage needs some paint and other work. One little quibble. When the did the first layer, they left a machine overnight on the street and it resulted in yellowing an 8 foot stretch of grass on a neighbor's front yard and leaving some asphalt on the street in front of his house. Of course this is a neighbor who treats his lawn like a golf course! I wish they would have been a little more careful with that as apologizing to that neighbor the first time I talked to this neighbor (we moved in recently)! Still, this is small stuff (and the grass grew back eventually). The overall work and quality of our driveway is fantastic. I am super satisfied. I highly recommend Horgan. Had I gone with the other guys I would have spent about 60-70% of what I was charged by Horgan and then would have to do it all over again in about five years!

All American Paving & Sealcoating LLC
These guys did a decent job. After a few reschedules due to rain, they came out and performed the seal coat in about 35 min. My driveway wasn't in the best of shape to begin with and was two different colors from the township pouring a newer portion. The seal coat they applied made the driveway look all black and uniform. You can still see the cracks underneath in the older portion, but they are way better then before. Again, my driveway was grey deteriorating asphalt and an absolute eye sore, and the seal coat job greatly improved the appearance. When I'm ready for a full resurfacing, I will call these guys. Thank you for a job well done!

    Dallas Brothers Monster Paving
I think it took about a month from accepting the estimate to performing the job, after a lot of emailing and missed appointments. In fairness, it was April/May, and an especially rainy and wet spring, and I understand that we were a relatively small job and not a lot of revenue. Still, more aggressive communication on their part would've been nicer. The work itself was great, you can't tell the driveway was repaired, and the seal coat looks fantastic. Post-work research suggests we paid about $50 more to Monster over a bigger, national company. I think that's more than reasonable in order to help support a local group of brothers trying to build a business than some (ahem) monster corporation out of state.

    H Parker Paving

Ham was a pleasure dealing with.  He came to our house prior to us having work done on our front porch and after it was completed so that he could see exactly how to work on our driveway.  It was a complicated job, because the paving had to be on several different levels because of newly installed stairs and a patio.  A lot of thought had to be given as to do this properly so that everything flowed properly and there were no "bumps".

Ham called me the night before his crew was coming and said they would be at the house at 8AM.  They showed up on time and didn't leave till they were finished.  Everyone was very nice and professional and our driveway looks amazing.

We appreciated the extra care that Ham gave us and highly recommend him.

    H Parker Paving
H Parker showed up at my door one morning asking if we wanted our (horrible condition) driveway replaced or repaired since they were in the neighborhood doing another job.  For some reason I immediately felt confident in who I would come to find out is one of the owners (the father).  We agreed on what I thought was a reasonable price and he said his crew would be down around 11am. Immediately I feared I would regret this because I usually would never make a purchase like this spontaneously.
Promptly at 11 am, a FLEET of trucks besieged our house.  Dump trucks, flat beds with Bobcat and a huge asphalt machine.  I thought 3 or 4 guys with one of those little blacktop trailers would show up.  In many ways this crew looked better supplied than the municipal guys that have been doing an OK job repairing our roads for the last couple of months.
Within minutes they had our old drive way torn up and began releveling the stone base.  2 hours later we had a beautiful, new driveway.
Both sons were on the job as well, and having read some reviews on here about a "seam" on double wide driveways, I expressed my concern.  They assured me they would do their best to hide the seam and I have to tell you, I can't tell where they laid down two strips of asphalt.
This was one of our better experiences with home contractors and it's kind of funny that it was a chance meeting.  My wife and I can't recommend H Parker Paving enough.  They really seem to care about their work, work hard, and work professionally.  If you run into them, trust they will do a great job.

    Asphalt King
The property I live next to is being flipped by an investor who hired Asphalt King to repave the driveway cheap. During the job, a sales representative from Asphalt King knocked on our door several times, attempting to sell us on repaving our entire driveway as well, our driveways are side by side. We turned them down because we were not confident in their ability to do quality work. The sales representative was persistent, so, eventually, we did agree to have them patch a small section (2'x 2') for $75. The very next morning, while my wife was backing out of our driveway, she ran over a metal gasket that was obviously left behind from one of their machines. It popped the tire. We had to have it replaced for $165. I called the owner and explained the situation. He shrugged it off and said he would look into it. I have not heard from him since. I have sent him the bill and have tried to contact him several times but, he still has not responded.
I feel obligated to warn potential customers about Asphalt King. They appear to be incompetent and do not take responsibility for their negligence. Given my experience, I would not risk doing business with them ever again. And I would highly recommend others to do the same.
On a side note, the investor of the property next to me is very dissapointed with the quality of their work. They did not remove the old crumbled driveway. They just paved over the existing driveway with an inch of asphalt and charged over 5 thousand dollars. It won't be long before that driveway is crumbling again. The real professionals require removal of the old crumbled asphalt and replacing it with 3 inches.
