    Charles Garrity Painting
Charles and his team fixed drywall and painting that another contractor did not do very well, in addition to painting an office and mudroom. He also included work that was not in the scope but that we asked to be added on the fly, to re caulk and paint interior trim. Previously, Charles painted exterior panels and trim. Both jobs were done well and professionally; he and his team are polite and professional. I would recommend and use his services again.

    John Elliott General Contractor
John has been working for us for the last 8 years. He is literally the best contractor that we have ever had. He is professional, punctual, and honest. He has always done top notch work, and we have asked him to do a number of jobs for us. We continue to use and recommend John, and highly recommend his services.

    Finishing Touches
Excellent renovation. High quality work. Completed on time and on budget with minimal hassles. Steve Paz runs a small crew and does much of the skilled work himself. He is organized and accurate. Solves problems creatively to minimize cost. Accommodated unusual restrictions on house access because of dogs. Though demolition was required, minimal dust was generated in the house. Steve is a perfect gentleman, remains calm at all times, and is very easy to talk to and negotiate with. I will use him again.

    John Elliott General Contractor
Great experience, John and his son were quick, direct and careful. Completed the job promptly and cleaned up after themselves. He was easy to get a hold of and always returned my calls in quick manner. I have recommended to my family and will have him back to work on some other projects we have in mind.

DO NOT HIRE! If I could give a zero I would. These guys are a joke. I hired him to drywall my basement, vent my dryer, hang a door and put in an outlet..... all of which was done incorrectly. On all of my walls you can see each and every seam where they put the drywall. The outlet they installed they put in the middle of the wall and then Tony was ****** when I made him move it. The vent is now collecting water because they installed it incorrectly and now I can't use my dryer and have to hire another contractor to come and fix it. We still have not been able to get all the water out of the vent and now will have to do major reconstruction to fix his mistake, one that should never have been made in the first place because any decent contractor should know that in a dryer vent there will ALWAYS be condensation that will collect in the pipes if you use flex piping when running a long vent. Anytime I asked him to correct anything he was rude and nasty and gave me a hard time and would talk down to me and treat me like I was an idiot. They also left my house a complete mess and I have been cleaning up dust for weeks because they did not seal off the area when they were sanding the drywall.... poorly sanding the drywall since I still see each and every seam were they applied spackle. I would not recommend him to my worst enemy. Save your money and find a decent contractor that you can trust!!!

    JA Drywall LLC
Juan responded to my request very quickly.  The work began and finished exactly when he said it would and all of the installers and finishers worked cleanly and courteously.  I would recommend JA Drywall to anyone based on our experience and I look forward to using them on future projects.

    Doctor Odd Jobs LLC
We setup a time for Rob to come to the house to take a look at the hoop and he was a no show.  When I reached back out he apologized and we arranged to a second meeting..  He was a no show for that meeting as well.  After a month of waiting and 2 no show appointments, I have to re-start my search for a contractor.

    John Elliott General Contractor
John and his son did a great job. They did everything from repairing some handrails to grouting tile, to painting a room. Part of the repair involved removing an old unused toilet from our laundry room. During the repair, John discovered mold, and promptly advised us of his finding. He walked us through his suggested correction plan, and provided an estimated cost to remove the mold. He ended up removing a section of old drywall. He and his son did an excellent job replacing the drywall with new material. John also determined the root cause of the mold collection and fixed that as well.
John and his son performed all their work within the cost estimates they originally provided to us. When additional work was warranted, they again provided an estimate and kept within the amount they estimated. They did a great job of communicating with us and let us know when they would be available to perform work. They were always punctual and courteous!
    We can't recommend John enough!

As for all previous work with Resto, this was a flawless job. Hector Resto runs a small shop, by choice. He works with his crew and they clearly adore him. As a result, the site is relaxed and coordinated. Resto himself is the calmest contractor I have ever dealt with. He never loses control. He is completely direct. Discussions about money are relaxed and clear. He is totally reasonable.
Resto has a unique style for a contractor. Rather than spread himself over many jobs, like so many contractors do, he will focus on yours, if you will let him. We have twice simply left town for 90% of the work. This last renovation we were gone for six weeks of the project. We (he) called when required. He sent detailed photos (even a few movies) for us to follow the project and intervene to clarify things. Despite the horrible weather, he stayed on schedule.
Hector has a real sense of design. He can take a rough drawing, polish it and put it into reality without much effort by us. He is very knowledgeable about all sorts of things but when he doesn't know something he does the research. A good example for this job was the installation of an electromagnetic scaling suppression system (we have hard water), which he had never installed before. He has deep experience that pays off. A good example of that is his anticipation that was the discovery that previous owner of our house had not installed the windows we were replacing correctly. The short story is that he saved us thousands of dollars. He is a master of tile - he did the shower enclosure himself.
And he is inexpensive. I have built one home, researched in detail (to the point of quotes) building another and renovated three homes over my life. I have seen many estimates run over by 10 to 20 percent, even without change orders. Resto's estimates are reasonable and, importantly, solid.
I gave him a bottle of wine a few days ago to thank him for a job well done and joked that I was sorry that I didn't have more cash on hand to start on another job (master bathroom) since I enjoyed this one so much.

Mariano and Mike were very professional and responsive.  They arrived when they said they would, provided quality work and were very easy to work with.  We were extremely pleased with the outcomes and will definitely be calling them again.
