Doing It Right Roofing Siding Remodeling LLC
Jon was VERY detailed and transparent in his description of the work and materials and he made it easy to select the materials for the project. I was then given a detailed 15 page proposal outlining all work, terms and conditions. I received a phone call within 2 weeks of returning the signed contract to schedule the work which began the following week. Work was postponed for a day due to weather (it was horrible weather last week) but communication was excellent and I was always notified of any changes to the schedule. They did a fantastic job working around the almost constant rain all week and the work performed was perfect. I'm an Engineer and tend to be more eccentric about workmanship but I can say with all honesty that they did an excellent job and their cleanup was perfect. I will definitely contact them again for other projects that I have planned. They were all VERY nice people and a pleasure to work with.

Murray (owner) was very accessible. I got a visit and quote in no time. The siding and facia that was on the front of my home needed attention. I had them replaced it and also put new soffit and facia on the porch ceiling. They came when they said they would and did everything I asked them to do. Carlos and his partner were courteous and talented. Murray called after the completion and made sure that everything was done to my satisfaction. The job was done efficiently and with attention to detail. The house looks great and I couldn't be happier.

    B&M Home Improvements
We highly recommend B & M Home Improvements for your home project. The owner, Brien Moore, is very professional in each aspect of the project and a pleasure to work with. During the initial meeting, Brien was attentive to our needs and provided suggestions for consideration without up selling the project. Details were clearly documented on the contract to avoid any confusion including payment arrangements. An estimated target date was provided and met timely. We received a phone call two weeks prior to the start date touching base and explaining preparatory items to be done. Brien is very responsive to email, text messages or phone calls and answers clearly any questions we had. During the project, Brien and his team were courteous, friendly and very consciousness of our home/property as well as considerate of neighbors. (I have several perennials surrounding our home and they were extremely cautious not to damage any of the plants.) Brien works closely with his team; they are meticulous and treated our home as if it were their home. You can be sure the team takes much pride in their work. If something unexpected arises, Brien takes time to explain the issue and the correct way to address the matter to avoid future problems, even when it takes his team more time to complete the project. Brien can be trusted to do the right thing! After the project was completed, we had a question regarding a minor cosmetic concern. Brien took time on a Saturday morning to stop over, talk thru the concern and offer alternatives. Customer satisfaction is very important to Brien as this example demonstrates. B & M Home Improvements will receive our business for future home projects!

    David's Improvements
David is always prompt and is very hard working. When I hired him I had about 7 or 8 things in mind to be repaired, but he worked so efficiently that there was time to work on about 10 or 12 extra projects as well. Everything about David is very professional. I would gladly use him again and I recommend him to anyone needing a handyman who can fix just about anything.

    Plyler Construction
The project was completed on-time and on budget. The quality of the work was top notch. As neighbors and friends asked about the scope of the project and quality of work, I simply said that' "They approached every aspect of the job as if they were working on their own house."  The job was done right, the first time!

I found Plyler Construction (PC) greatest assets to be very punctual, hard-working, and honest which is an extremely rare trait to find in building contractors today. We never once questioned if PC was coming or had any concerns about the quality of work or their work ethic. It's refreshing to know someone that takes pride in their work and delivered the services that they said they will deliver.  As you can imagine, on a 50+ year old home there were several unexpected findings that was no fault of PC. Every project task was well thought out and handled in a professional manner. Throughout the project, PC clearly explain what the next major step of the project would encompass and clearly communicated the details just to make sure we were on the same page.

Would I recommend Plyler Construction again? YES without question. Just ask several of my satisfied neighbors that hired PC to do work for them!

    Mr. Handyman of Northern Pittsburgh
Was scheduled for a small siding repair at 11:00 am. I called the office at noon when nobody was there. I did get a call back saying the technician was late and would be there at 1:30 pm. Nobody showed at 1:30. I called the office at 2:15 pm, was told the scheduler was on the phone and would call me back. I called back at 3:15 pm and got voice mail and left a message about the status. No call back again.
Finally after 4 pm I received a call from the the technician saying he wouldn't make it (I had already given up on him showing) and I would have to reschedule with the office. When I said that I had left two messages with the office with no response, he said he would tell them the next day to call me. Never got a call back. Has put me in a big jam as I scheduled this at least 10 days ahead of time. Very unprofessional.

    Ireland Contracting
I had a piece of vinyl siding 30ft up on my townhouse that would keep popping off during high winds. This has happened a few times in the same area over the past 20 years. I had paid another contractor to fix this a month before but their repair did not hold. While searching through Angie's list I discovered Ireland Contracting which was highly rated and close to my area. I called the number that was listed and was surprised that Gary Ireland answered the phone. I expected an answering machine. From here I can say it was nothing short of impressive. First off Gary is extremely professional and no matter what your situation he talks in a way that gives you immediate confidence that this is the ?right guy?. You can tell he is genuine - he actually cares about your issue and wants to help you. My biggest concern was that we were in a period of high winds and I was going on a cruise in 2 weeks and was worried that if it was not fixed before I left I?d come home to a house with even more siding missing and potential water damage. Despite my problem being relatively minor, Gary understood my issue and sympathized with my vacation concerns and agreed to help me out. Gary told me he would be there the next day to take a look. I had told Gary to go ahead and just fix it if he could and we could square up on the bill later. When I spoke to Gary the next afternoon, he said it was simple enough that he just went ahead and fixed it while he was there. In addition, I had a B-Vent flue pipe that was leaking at the flashing collar and getting into my attic. Gary sealed the collar as well. This no longer leaks. Unfortunately a week or so later we had extremely high winds and that pesky piece of siding popped out again. At this point I was 1 week away from vacation. I called Gary again and explained. Gary said he was very busy but would let me know the next day when he could get back out there to take a look. I texted Gary the next day to ask about his schedule and much to my delight he said, Oh, I was already there this morning and it?s fixed! Turns out upon further investigation there were other pieces of siding not attached correctly surrounding the piece that was popping out so he had to secure those 3 pieces. I?ve had issues with this siding for years but it finally appears to have been fixed permanently thanks to Gary. The best news is I was able to go on my cruise and actually enjoy it instead off worrying about wind and water damage. So, to reiterate, Gary is an impressive contractor. He is extremely professional, responsive, prompt, knowledgeable, always remains calm and gives you confidence that he has your situation under control. And for a bonus, his prices are reasonable to boot. Highly recommended. He will be my first call for any future work that falls in his wheelhouse. Thanks Gary!

    New House Worx
Poor workmanship. Shower door and shower item were not ordered when they started. The plumbing for the shower head is about 6 inches from the ceiling. Door came in wrong so many mistakes & poor workmanship that extra material and trim needed to be ordered to cover up mistakes. Covered up excess panel to turn off water so the basement ceiling needed it be cut into to create access panel and to fix the hot / cold water on the wrong faucet. Went through 3 different crews because they kept losing employees. I was told they ran out of money and was asked to purchase the shower head myself & they would send someone to install. I agreed to take the wrong doors and purchased the shower head to just get the shower stall finished. I could not get returned calls from anyone. Still have no door and the shower head is still in the box. Had to contact BBB and New House Worxs would not return their calls either. BBB gave them an F rating. Going to small claims to try to recoup money so we can get the bathroom completed.

    Bradley's Roofing
Brad, the owner of Bradley's Roofing came out personally on a weekend to spend the time necessary to really understand our needs.  After meeting with at least 8 other roofers and not feeling good about any of them... he said something that sealed the deal for us... "The recommendations and attention to detail that go into all of our customer projects are done as if they were our own homes."
While that sounds like a line that any contractor might say... you know immediately that he means it.  Not only did he deliver on that promise... he exceeded it exponentially.  Brad oversaw his crew of about 8 and was on the job site EVERY SINGLE DAY.  They NEVER left a mess and they went WAY above and beyond what was in any agreements.
The original job was just some soffit and fascia replacement as well as some replacement of old cedar to hardy siding and trim... but we couldn't help ourselves after seeing their work.. and we kept adding new projects until before you knew it... they had been on site multiple times spanning at least another 2 months doing a bunch more projects.
I have owned a lot of real estate and dealt with at least 100 contractors around Pittsburgh.  Let me assure you... there is no better contractor and company that you can deal with in this city.  From the owner to the crew as well as the communications from Paula in the office... you will ALWAYS know what's going on and they will not leave until everything is perfect.  Again, I cannot say enough good things about these people.  My wife and I actually miss having them around but at least we know who to call without hesitation the next time we will need help.
