Although the doctor seemed knowledgeable I have to say both him and the nurse that took the x-ray of my foot were not very personable. It seemed like the same doctor had 4-5 patients scheduled at the same time (7:00 a.m.). I started explaining to the nurse how the injury occurred and she quickly shut me up and brought me to the x-ray room and hurriedly did the few x-rays without any bedside manner at all. The doctor came in and quickly examined my foot and since it was not broken he seemed like I was wasting his time (although I waited 2 1/2 months to see a doctor about it; I am definitely not a hypochondriac); so overall the care was just eh, okay... and I definitely felt like just a number and not a patient.

    Clinton R, Dr. Lowery
After trying over the counter wart remover (the one that freezes the area), the warts were still coming back.  Went to the doctor to have him remove them.  In the past, the doctor applied a small amount of acid to the direct area and it completely removed the wart.  Upon meeting Dr. Lowery, he started that these we not warts but something else.  His treatment was to have me go and buy over the counter wart remover lotion (even though according to him these were not warts).  He then instructed me to apply the lotion and then wrap the area with duct-tape and leave it like that for a while.  I was to go back after a couple weeks and see if it worked.  It took about 3-4 weeks but did work.  Then I received the bill, and I was charged a lot of money for "services".   Therefore I would not recommend going to him, since I was charged a lot of money just to be told to put duct-tape on my foot.

)I was in a bicycle wreck years ago and needed a total hip in 2008. Dr. Seel and his office staff did a great job with my surgery and follow up care. During that time the communication from the office was wonderful and they were very punctual with appointments. I also had follow up care for my aging knees. The physician assistants have been very accessible and helpful with injections of multiple types helping me avoid a total knee (for now). Of all the medical offices I've dealt with this one is run more efficiently than any other. They are on time 95% of the time and billing is very smooth.

It went very well.  He made sure that I was comfortable, and he made it a very painless process.  He set up my post-appointments in a satisfactory manner, and he is just a great all around physician.

Cervical spine surgery: after 6 months of PT = limited rotation due to rods and I have disabling sustained ache whenever
slightly bending over for more than 5 minutes. This persists, probably permanent I would guess though final prognosis unclear because of Lumbar spinal problems and their effect upon each other.
Lumbar spine surgery: I'm now 5 months post-op and 6 weeks into PT. Progress very slow but
positive. Old pain resolved but moderate to severe pain from surgical
procedure which is slowly improving. I had severe compression of spinal cord
due to stenosis with bone spurs and was near paralysis from each spinal
area with loss of some functioning so surgery was not optional. I had followed conservative treatment for 10 years before surgery at my discresssion. though I was advised to have surgery 7 years earlier.
Each surgery was about 5 hours and hospital stays 7 days. Excellent hospital care each time and good home followup. Dr. Kang very forthcoming and uses MRI's and X-rays to explain before and after surgery. There was much unavoidable nerve damage from last surgical procedure which translates into a prolonged recovery and unknown prognosis especially since extensive surgery on two spinal areas and their effect upon each other.
Dr Kang is optimistic at this point. Excellent surgeon and good bedside manner. I was visited by at least three orthopedic residents and three residence internists daily and they guided and charter my progress diligently under my Drs. direction. Almost all of the many technicians doing pre-op testing had family members operated on by Dr. Kang and they spoke highly about him and his surgical results.Overall I have no complaints and I' grateful and satisfied with experience.
