    Omnipro
They were prompt and completed the job timely in April 2017. We then had the driveway professionally sealed in June 2017 as they recommended. The problem is the concrete is now badly scaling. I called them twice to explain the situation and they said they would send someone to look at the problem. It's been over two months and no one has contacted me and no one ever came to see the condition of the concrete. I also sent an email to Omnipro through this site one month ago, and again no one responded. Very disappointed. I will only hire them for future work if they will demonstrate appropriate follow-up and resolution.

    Spadafora Custom Concrete
Harry Spadafora's team was very organized and professional. Harry personally oversaw that the job was being done properly. His whole team was very friendly towards our family and greeted us every day as we watched the progress of the job. All of his workers were very experienced and were able to answer all of our questions fully. We would recommend Spadafora Custom Concrete to anyone looking for quality work.

    LANSBERRY MASONRY CORP
Lansberry Masonry was exceptionally professional, knowledge, competent and very collaborative. The owner, Lee Lansberry, did an excellent job of communicating with me on scheduling. There was no call the night before telling me they would be showing up the next morning. We spoke more than a month prior and more frequently as Lee go closer to what he thought was the actual start date. He showed up on time as promised and walked through the complete job again with me. He was patient with my questions and never made me feel as though I was intruding or causing interruptions when I occasionally stopped in to see how the work was progressing. He kept me informed of the job progress and discussed any changes or change orders. He made reasonable suggestions and gave sound advice for me to consider. I never felt as though he took advantage of his knowledge. His crew was polite and professional. They had access to our finished basement and treated it with the same care as one might to show to anyone else's' home. The work was done to the exact specifications outlined in the contract. The pricing was in line for the quality of workmanship, attention to detail, promptness, and fairness related to the job expectations. You can probably find someone less expensive but remember you get what you pay for. Lansberry was not the most expensive bid I received but the price was very fair for the quality of work and accountability for the work being performed. Your experience might be different but I would never hesitate to call Lansberry for more work if ever needed.

    RBK Enterprises, Inc
RBK has done many projects for me over the years, continued maintenance of our home (window & gutter cleaning), they have cleaned a roof for us prior to selling our previous home, and repaired a Concrete pad prior to selling our previous home, and have installed Storm doors on the new home. They have been nothing but courteous, prompt, and reasonable for the services performed.

    Gino Ledonne Concrete
We hired Gino LeDonne to replace our asphalt driveway with a concrete driveway. He was quick to come to our home and provide an estimate. Once a start date was established we had our driveway within 2 1/2 days from start to finish. He made follow up calls to inquire if we had any questions throughout the process and if we were satisfied. They were very professional and the work is absolutely beautiful! We would definitely recommend Gino...it is obvious he takes pride in his work and it shows. Ron and Maria Riggle

    KEYSTONE CONCRETE CONSTRUCTION
We contracted Keystone to tear out and replace a governors drive and adjoining driveway due to some spalling and pitting. We had our home on the market and wanted to show it in the best possible light. We chose Keystone Concrete on the criteria of expedience although their price seemed very high. ($42.5k) Immediately after the completion of work we notice that the texture and colors of the driveways didn't exactly match, but were assured after weathering it would settle. About a year later the driveway started to pit and spall again. Additionally, we experienced larger area of outright crumbling under foot. I called Rodger Snow at Keystone back in February 2017 to inform him and he said he would come by and have a look at it. After several weeks we called again and he said we would be first on his schedule for remediation. Again in April he said that have called his concrete supplier to come out and inspect the problem and that he would get back to me. Again in May when we called he said he was still waiting on the supplier to come out. About three weeks ago I took it upon myself to call the supplier directly. The supplier (Kennedy Concrete) claimed they never heard from him with regard to this issue. At 'this point I realized that all correspondence should be documented so I continued dialogue via email. This seemed to irritate Mr Snow. When contracting for the job he issued us a 5 year guarantee in writing. He's now refusing to honor his guarantee claiming he only guaranteed craftsmanship and not sub standard product. Even if this is so, he's the one who purchased the concrete and I suspect he may have "cut a few corners". This all seems unethical and would urge anyone looking for concrete work to stay away from this vendor. As of now nothing has been done to rectify that problem and he won't respond to any correspondence. If your company is not capitalized enough to handle and guarantee work or not physically equipped to do so, then perhaps you should not be in business. In the last several days I've spoken to several entities in the construction and property management business locally and they advise to weep clear.

    MAS Concrete Construction LLC
They did a wonderful job. They even made arrangements with me since I was going out of town for the weekend to come in and have it done while I was out of town to make it more convenient for me. Would definitely recommend them and will have them back for any future work I might need.

    Gino Ledonne Concrete
Gino is the consummate old pro (and I mean that with total respect). When he came out to meet with us, he asked all the right questions and came up with some solutions right away for our drainage issues. Whenever we did encounter a challenge (hidden tree stump, even more drainage issues than originally addressed), Gino came up with a good solution at a fair price. When it was time to get the concrete poured, Gino and his crew worked diligently to get the job completed on schedule. What a transformation between our old and new driveway. To sum it up, we thoroughly enjoyed working with Gino and love our new driveway!

    Malone Construction Co Inc
First of all when I received the contract the fine print stated no warranty... I stated to Joe Malone that this was a game changer and the deal is dead thus at that time he changed it to a 1 year warranty.
    BEWARE.....
in late June and early July of this year it rained and rained and one day I walk down in the basement when it was raining and I saw a small water fall coming from the area where the poach was attached. which should have been sealed...
I tried to call his office at 712-443-6662 and the voice mail said that if this was a bid call ***-***-****... i called this number and left voice mail at both numbers... Needless to say no one returned my call..
I then logged a complaint with the BBB of Pittsburgh and then I received a call asking what was wrong...
I stated what happened and how it could be reproduce and Joe Malone came and caulked and caulked and even took off the clap boards and said to test it in the AM and I did and it still leaked. He returned and scratched his head and did more caulking and the next day it leaked again.. the third time he came he stated that the area wasn't seal was under the threshold of the door.. he wanted to cut out the threshold and when asked who is going to resolve the threshold he said that the leak would be repaired and that is all he was concerned about
bottom line is that He contracted to replace 2 concrete slabs and that they would be water tight so that they will not leak. one does and no resolve.
    the leak is still present
the clapboard is attached to the house with silicone
forgot when he was trying to seal the areas underneath the threshold he left silicone on the cement and now there is a stain he tried to removed it but when the slab gets wet it look like baby %$##..
now his comment was not to spray water under the threshold and he also stated that no one else ever complained of this problem or maybe they have this problem but just don't know it
Question how to you tell mother nature not to rain on the porch because this was when I first saw it??
Do people wash off their porches????
furthermore he reattached the the clap board and instead of nailing it he stuck it on with
silicone and now its appears to be falling off
BEWARE of this contractor what he states he can do and what he does is two different stories. Poor workmanship

    Morning Star Construction Co., Inc.
The front porch on our house measures 6 x 25 feet and was badly cracked.  Because the porch covers part of the garage, water was beginning to leak into our garage during inclement weather.  It was imperative to have this concrete porch deck replaced as quickly as possible.  Kerry from Morning Star construction came to our house in mid-February to survey the situation, then provided a detailed estimate to us within 48-hours.  Once we signed the agreement, we simply had to wait for the warm weather.
Once the weather was reasonable for concrete work in June, Morning Star provided a date that they would begin work on this project. The team arrived on the agreed-upon data and time as expected.
Day 1 consisted of placing protective 4 x 8 plywood sheets in the garage area under the porch in case of falling concrete, removing the front porch railings and columns, and installing temporary heavy duty supports for the existing porch roof.
Day 2 was demolition day and included demolition of the deck with jackhammers. A bobcat was used to carry the debris to the dump truck.  Throughout the process, the team was extremely careful to not damage the front yard by using only the driveway and street.  We had also asked that the team be aware that the new Hardie siding on the house had just been installed, so they were not to come in contact with the siding during the demolition.  All went well...but this was a noisy day in the neighborhood!
Day 3 was spent finishing-off the demolition, as well as removal of the galvanized decking and debris. New heavy-gauge steel decking was installed and this was followed-up by forming the porch with lumber and supports to prepare for the concrete pour. All rebar was installed at this time.  The decking was also braced with steel posts in the garage area, to ensure the decking would not bow under the weight of the concrete as it was poured.
Day 4 was concrete pumping day.  Morning Star arrived at 7:00 sharp to finalize everything on the porch surface.  The concrete pumper truck also arrived at this time to set-up shop on the street and to get the concrete boom in place.  At 7:30, the concrete mixer truck arrived.  By 8:00, the pour began and was completed within 40 minutes...all extremely organized.  The concrete that was used was fiber mesh reinforced 4000 lb.  Although the contract was for 6" depth, the final depth was 8" and was broom finished.  The porch deck looks and feels like a commercial installation.  Actually...it is.
Day 5 was used for final clean-up and application of a commercial concrete sealant.
Morning Star is a family owned and operated business.  Kerry is a very down-to-earth person, honest person.  He welcomes any suggestions and will be happy to do anything to make the customer happy.  When I questioned how some of the work was being done, he explained to me that this is how he would do it if it were his house...nuff said!
