Lee Lansberry came up with a source who cut two (2) custom sized, single-piece stone caps. The cost of the caps was significantly less than the largest (yet too small) caps I could find. Installation went perfectly. The cleaning, repair and sealing of all the stone work was done quickly and cleanly. After two (2) years: All is well.

They were very punctual and got straight to their business. They swept and vacuumed the chimney inside. When they left, the flue was closed. A few days ago, I opened it and a fair amount of ash came tumbling out? Seemed they didn't clean it very well, as they stuck the sweep up only once. I believe if they had done it a second time it would have cleared away much more debris. They said they "visually" inspected the chimney outside (two stories up), but never took a ladder to inspect....which I would have expected them to do for an inspection? Were at my home not more than 20 min. Disappointed. Will probably not have back.

Very quick call back following estimate request. Very timely on site estimate performed. Fit me into his busy spring schedule within 2 weeks of initial call. It took 4 sections of scaffolding to reach the top of the chimney. Work was done professionally and cleanup performed very well.

    Goetz Contracting
We highly recommend Goetz Contracting for your home improvement needs. From the initial meeting to the completion of your project you will be completely satisfied not only with the quality of the work, but also the professionalism and care Mike and his crew put in to your home. The gentlemen that worked on our project were prompt, courteous, and had a tremendous work ethic. You will be amazed at how much they accomplish each day. We cannot say enough about how happy we are with our new room, it matches our existing home perfectly. Honestly, we could not have asked for a better overall experience.

    Affordable Chimney Sweep
Tim was punctual and professional.  He cleaned my chimney, which more than likely had never been cleaned in 60+ years, and it ended up looking great.  He inspected my cap and advised it was not too bad but in the future it should be looked at again.  In addition to this work, Tim also completed/fixed a radon mitigation exhaust pipe, by installing brackets and pvc pipe.  This is not his normal work but was glad to do it for me under my specific circumstances.  The price listed was for all of the work combined.  2 hours total and to me, a pro job at a reasonable hourly rate is what I received.  I'm happy and would recommend Tim to other people.

I needed two flues cleaned in the same chimney. I was told that it would take three hours to perform. After 45 minutes Tim was done and charged me $ 400.00 Very poor customer relations. I have been in the plumbing and heating business for 35 years. I have never experienced anything like this. My doctor does not charge these type of outrageous prices. I may have to go to the magistrate with this. I believe everyone deserves to make money but this is criminal to take advantage of local homeowners. This contractor
only had to drive 1/2 mile to get to the job site at my house. I am very irritated!

I initially called while still living in Virginia to the Cranberry Twp store.  I explained that I'd be up there the week of July 4th & that I'd like someone to assess the suitability of running a gas line into the living room for a ventless gas fireplace.  They were willing to set this up well in advance.  On the day of the appointment the estimator arrived promptly.  He assessed the situation & determined that it was indeed feasible for the installation.
I already knew I wanted the smallest unit they offer.  I called-back the store to place a 1/3 deposit & they directed me to pick a finish for the mantle + if I wanted a remote starter.  I then requested an install date about a month in advance, which they were able to comply.  On that day, once again, the crew was on-time.  A plumber ran the gas line through the attic, down the garage wall & into the back of the living room.  The installers assembled the mantle but had to stop. They said the actual gas log or the hearth was damaged.  Apparently they received a bad shipment of the model used for my installation.  They called to their warehouse about getting a replacement unit, but that led to the discovery of the bad batch of these units.  No matter as it was mid-August & over 90.
So we arranged a date in mid-September after move-in.  The guys arrived on-time, laid down a runner over my brand new carpet & commenced to completing the job.  With maybe 40% already in-place, this took maybe 90 minutes.  They gave me a quick lesson on how to use the remote and took out any waste/scrap they made from the install.  It's still to early to need a fire, but this overall situation seemed to go smoothly.  I'm taking it on faith that the unit will function and that the store staff will be available to answer any questions I may have when I do begin to start fires as I may well forget my lesson.  But the process of setting-up the appointments needed for the project and obtaining dates that met my schedule went very well.  And ironing-out the details of my order also went well.  It was a positive experience from start to finish.

Tim was very professional.  Very neat and clean.  Removed his shoes, put a sheet down, vacuumed and there were no traces he was there when he left.  No odors.  Explained everything he was doing and gave some tips.  Would highly recommend.

Went to the store and the salesperson initially did not acknowledge us, although there was no one in the store.
When we eventually got to ask him about a potential service of our fireplace, he seemed very disinterested and dismissive. In the end he asked us about the brand of our fireplace. As we did not know this, he indicated that they will only service one particular one and that unless we know which one ours is, he cannot help us.

They came out promptly for the estimate, and were able to get started on the work a little earlier than estimated.  They showed up on time and set up scaffolding, did all of the work, removed scaffolding, and cleaned up the front and back decks in one day.  We were very happy with their work  They were very professional and did a very nice job.
