Since Women To Women closed their doors, I was referred
to Dr. Coslett. The offices are large, busy and impersonal.
Everyone is rushing about so that the maximum number of
patients can be seen in one day.
Not what I'm looking for when it comes to my health.
On my follow-up visit, I was checked in by a receptionist, then
examined by a Nurse Practitioner and checked out by another
receptionist...I was told it wasn't even necessary for the Dr. to
see me personally. Call me crazy, but when I pay for a visit to
the Doctor, I want to actually SEE THE DOCTOR!

I feel that she doesn't rush me through my appointment. She listens to my concerns and she is very current on her knowledge. Her availability is excellent. I would continue to use her in the future.

Being originally from Bergen County, NJ, I was accustomed to the finest medical care available in the country. After thorough research of the doctors in this area, I was fortunate to select Dr. Citti as my primary care physician. Because of multiple operations, two lumbar fusion operations in particular resulting from a car accident, high blood pressure, diabetes and a host of other issues, I can confidently say that Dr. Citti is on par with any doctor I have ever met any time. In fact I found him to be such a good doctor, that I convinced my wife to change doctors and have Dr. Citti as her primary care doctor as well. I couldn't give any doctor a higher rating than Dr. Citti. I am thoroughly pleased with him being in charge of my medical care.

My mom was overweight and Dr. Mitchell told her to watch her weight. I believe she had a diet regimen paper from John Heinz which she was not following. I was working at the time and her sister took her to Dr. Mitchell for her appts. My sister and I had finally had it with him as he was not helping her at all, he just kept putting her on drug after drug. My sister and I composed and wrote him a lenghty letter explaining that we know it would help if he 'threatened' her by saying something like 'if you don't try to lose weight I won't be your physician anymore.' We requested that he not tell our mom about sending him the letter because we KNOW her and she would have another stroke from anger at us. Well, he wrote back such a scathing letter saying he WILL tell her about the letter. I was so furious I called him from my workplace (Fed. Govt.) and told him he had better NOT tell her about the letter. He acted like a 7-year-old and snickered 'I'm gonna tell her, I'm gonna tell her." He just kept saying how we didn't care since neither me nor my sister (in NJ) ever brought her to her appts. I told him that the next appt. she has I WILL be there. I had to white lie why I was taking her and told her I'll wait outside in the car. (I had told Dr. M. that I'll know as soon as she walks out if he told her about the letter or not.) My mom insisted that I go inside with her and then insisted I go into the exam room w/ her. Well, I was standing behind her chair when Dr. M walked in and he just glared at me. My mom tried to be very sweet and friendly and introduced him to me. I coldly stated that we had met in the hospital and Dr. M didn't even say Hello. I watched every move he made and when he was done and asked if there was anything wrong my mom said 'no'. I reminded her that she told me she was getting double vision. That's when Dr. M stated very sternly as if I were a child: "I'm not questioning that right now." Well, he finished his exam and walked out and he never even went back to ask her about the double vision. All the way home my mom kept praising him and how nice he was because he kept asking her if she was singing in the choir and baking etc. I just kept saying I wish she would change doctors because he's gonna kill her. We had a huge fight every time his name came up. She did die from a massive heart attack in 1992. Dr. Mitchell didn't even have the courtesy of calling or even writing to express condolences of having our mom die. He never came to the wake or the funeral. I still have our original letter and his reply somewhere in the house. I had even shown both to a Dr. Tony Bamont (spelling?). He was the MEPS doctor for recruits in the VA Bldg. in Wilkes-Barre, PA. He was astounded that a doctor would write a letter in reply like the one he wrote! I had asked him if my sister and I should report him to the AMA and Dr. Tony (we were close friends) explained it would be worthless because most doctors stand by each other and will never report one of their 'own'. I'm upset because my mother's 2 sisters are still going to him after all the grief w/ him. My one aunt even called me and cursed me out because I guess he showed our letter to his mom (his receptionist) and SHE told my aunt about it....so much for patient confidentiality in his office! All I can say is that, in his own way, he just wanted to keep a patient coming for the money and didn't care if she followed his advice or not. That's not a doctor in my book. My dog's VET took better care of him than Dr. Mitchell took of my mom.

I arrived at two o'clock--the time of my appointment, minus my insurance card. The receptionist that registered me did the best she could under the circumstances, and I promised to return with my card. I was called into the exam room after approximately 10 minutes--very promptly in my experience--and the usual vitals were taken by a very pleasant nurse, and the doctor arrived before I'd had a chance to sit down! The appointment with Dr. Citi went extremely well, and I left feeling fortunate to have found him.

She's a very good doctor. She's very caring and does a lot of follow up. She doesn't give us medicine unless she sees us.
