    great. Phil and his associate were pleasant and professional and very efficient. They take pride in their finished product and they know their business. Phil may even occasionally break out in song to accompany a favorite on the radio. Phil recently worked closely with our roofer to identify and solve a leak issue with our newly installed roof. No problems since . I will probably have more work to be done in the a retaining wall, inspect stucco, etc. Phil will be my only service provider.

    This company is as good as it gets. We have used them 4 to 5 times over the last 12 years. They are prompt, professional and knowledgeable. They always arrive within minutes of the scheduled appointment. They are honest - when one company gave us an estimate of 1600, they came with an estimate of 150.00. They operate under the ideal of leaving a place cleaner than they found it - and they meet that standard. They are respectful. They are knowledgeable and are able to explain to us what they did and why. In 26 years of living in this home and calling service companies here, they are by far the best company with whom we have interacted - they are a 10 star, gold seal company. I only wish they did plumbing and heating as well. We recommend them without hesitation to anyone who needs their chimney cleaned or serviced.

    I called them based on the ad they had in the member book we had just received. I called and spoke to Matt. He said he could come out to my house the very next day to take a look at my chimney and flue as we had smoke coming into the house when we lit our last fire. He came in and promptly laid drop cloths down so as to not dirty my floors. I loved that! After he looked at everything, he gave me a breakdown, in an easy to understand way, of what he saw. He was not pushing or pressing for more business. He did what I asked him to do, at a fair price. I would HIGHLY recommend Matt to anyone!

    Getting Matthew Antonini to actually come out was a chore. I first contacted Matthew in the fall of 2014. Matthew was prompt in coming out to my house and providing an estimate. He seemed to be knowledgeable and he was professional.

    Several weeks later, Matthew contacted me and asked if it was alright to schedule the work for spring of 2015. That was ok for me, the work I needed done was not of an emergency nature.

    In the spring (2015), the work was scheduled for June, but slipped due to weather and Matthew's other contracts. Matthew provided me with advanced notice and asked if I was ok with the schedule. I was.

    The work was finally started on July 11. Matthew and another guy showed up and proceeded to fix the stucco. The five smaller areas were finished that day. The one larger area required a return trip on Sunday to apply the final layer of stucco.

    It is now almost two months later and the repairs are doing fine.

    The only complaint is that there was one large (5" diameter) chunk of cement that they left that they shouldn't have.

    There were also a lot of small pieces of cement in the areas repaired. I did not take points off for this since I don't see how it could have been cleaned up any better (they did use drop cloths as needed).

    I did take a few points off for scheduling. Matthew did ok each delay with me and I agreed but still, a nine month delay seemed a little excessive.

    Matthew earned some points when he volunteered (for no charge) to remove a portion of a vertical piece of flagstone. This required cutting and an additional 30 minutes (maybe a bit more) of his time. Thanks Matthew. 

    I contacted Matthew my email and he always replied promptly.

    The bottom line is: I will use him again if needed.

    He was trying to talk me into things that was broken but I just bought the house and just had an inspection and none of that came out.  I told him not to cut anything out, rip anything out or touch anything.  I’m pretty sure he did not do anything.  He did not up sell me at that point and he just high vent.

    I  had specified clearly that the chimney had not been clean for a long time and was in dear need of deep cleaning.
    I was told the electrical/mechanical sweep was in the other truck!!!! 
    I was their responsibility to bring it right then.
    The price for the minimal work done was not a good deal anymore. Overall it was just an inspection with a tall order for real work.
    I may be use this company in the future, my chimney still needed areal sweep and a new damper!!!

    They were very personable and very thorough. I have no complaints. The young man did an inspection and I remember being impressed because he took pictures and he showed me exactly what was going on with my chimney.

    I used this company as part of a special and they did a nice job. It was quick and they were very effective. I would use them again especially because they even removed a bees nest from the chimney!

    Absolutely horrible.  This company should be ashamed of itself.   I called and ordered a 1/2 cord of firewood and they delivered and stacked it the next day.   They wound up being late  and I had to call to find out where they were, but they eventually showed up and delivered the product.   I sincerely wish they didn't.    The wood they delivered is HORRIBLE and doesn't burn.   They claim to season their wood for 9 to 12 months but the wood that I was delivered is green basically can't be burned.    On 11/26 I sent this e-mail:
    "Good evening,
    I recently purchased a 1/2 cord of wood from your company and I am very dissatisfied with the quality.    I have attempted several fires with the wood and each time the wood is not burning.  It is "sizzling" and clearly not seasoned.  
     I have never had this issue with wood purchases before and sincerely hope that you will stand behind your product.    I am seeking either a new 1/2 cord that is dry, seasoned and will burn or my money back.    I look forward to hearing from you.
    Thank you."
    I waited a week and never heard back so I called.   The woman said she received my email and apologized and the owner would "get back to me".    On 12/6 I finally got this reply:

    HelloOn Monday the Owner will be making this issue right.  Sorry it took so long to get back to you.Jennifer

    Monday came and went and again I never heard back from them until 12/14 they e-mailed me asking for my name and address!   I e-mailed it back to them and day went by and again never heard back from them.    Finally on 12/18 I made a last ditch effort to resolve this by sending this e-mail:
    "Can I please have an update on this?    I really am hoping that your company will make this right but I am getting a bit frustrated.   It is the holiday season and I have a wife and 3 and 5 year old boys who just want to have fires going.   I wasn't able to do so yet again all weekend even though I paid a good amount of money for wood that isn't good.  
    I would really appreciate it if you could make this right this week before the weekend.   I simply either want new quality wood or my money back.   |
    Please advise."
    As of today,  12/20,  no reply.    I am completely frustrated with them.   I have called and e-mailed and have given them every chance to make this right.   I am now stuck with a 1/2 cord of horrible wood and out $160.

    Was assuming at least two guys would come in for this service, but only one came so I was worried it would take forever. Guy named Bic came in and did everything in about 3 hours and even added free chemicals to prevent mold and other dangerous dust issues. He was in and out without any problems. Would probably do again in another 4 years if I remember.
