We always have a wonderful experience with Carriage Hill Kennels. We tell our Corgi she is going to 'Puppy Camp' and she gets so excited. When we turn down their lane she is in constant motion and can't wait to get in and see everyone. The staff is always courteous and we have never have any issues in dropping off or picking up. One time we even called to say we were picking her up a day early and they were very accommodating. This is the only kennel we will use and highly recommend it.

    |I will most likely not use this kennel in the future, however, ONLY because my dog requires more vigilance than a normal kennel with a dog run can provide. He was a rescue, and somewhere along the line before he got to me, he learned that horrible habit of "poop-eating". So an unsupervised kennel and run don't work well for him.

It was a great experience for them and me--AS IT ALWAYS HAS BEEN. I have used Fuzzy Paws for years. The owners and all the staff really love dogs and it shows in everything they do. Two of the owners have a medical background which is wonderful because they pick up signs of problems quickly. They took care of my last dog every day while he went through chemo therapy. They grew to understand his signals that he needed to rest or was ready to go back outside. I was able to work and feel he was in the best of hands. With my two current wolfhounds, the staff understood them at once and made sure they were never uncomfortable or anxious. Each dog is assessed and placed in situations suited to it. The dogs get personalized individual attention. The facility is clean and never has had an odor. They are strict about vaccinations and contagious diseases so all the dogs are safe. I have recommended Fuzzy Paws to all my friends and acquaintances. In my opinion, you cannot place your dog in a better or more loving environment if you have to leave them or if you just want to add some variety or doggie friendship to their lives.

We stopped using them. We had rescued the 2 kittens and were struggling to get care to get them better. The first kitten died. They convinced us to let them keep the second kitten at the hospital in order to provide care for him. They told us that they would keep us updated. We left him there and we drove 45 minutes home and by the time we got home we thought we should call and check and we called. They told us at that point that the kitten was doing poorly and maybe we should come back to the hospital. We drove all the way back and half way there, that was the point at which they decided to call back and tell us that the kitten had just died. There had been a Freudian slip on the first phone call where they said they were sorry the kitten had died and then they quickly corrected themselves. That kitten had already died and they were just going to keep that kitten overnight anyways and then charge us for the entire night for providing care for a dead kitten. They were just much more interested in collecting the money than properly caring for the animal. I really did not like anything about that place. The only thing that was good about that place was that it provided 24 hour care but if that care is the type of care they were giving, I think it's better to wait.

The price depends on the service. They typically charge $30.00 or $35.00 which is just their standard fee and which happens almost every time we go in there. If you see the doctor and the doctor just examines your pet, they call it an examination. Sometimes it's annoying that you get charged for that. Sometimes if you go in for vaccinations, you don't even need to see the doctor. They will just send out one of their helpers and give a quick vaccination and that's it. I think it's a fairly fair place. I don't have any problems with the quality of work. Their responsiveness is very good. They are really good at working with your schedule. Their punctuality is pretty average.

I can say that I like this clinic. Our dog likes the doctor and we like her too. She is a very good doctor and a very good trainer as well. I have only good things to say about her, and I will be using her again in the near future.

I WON'T TAKE CINDERS BACK FOR A GROOMING. WHEN I PICKED HER UP SHE STILL SMELLED LIKE DOG. I TOOK OUR OWN ALLERGY SHAMPOO FOR THEM TO USE, BUT THEY DIDN'T CUT US A BREAK. IT WAS LIKE ALL THEY DID WAS WET HER AND PUT A BOW ON HER. I COULD HAVE DONE A MUCH BETTER JOB AT HOME. CINDERS WAS STILL DIRTY. I COULDN'T WAIT FOR A WEEK TO BE UP TO BATHE HER MYSELF.

THEY DID A VERY GOOD JOB. THEY EVEN USED ALLERGY SHAMPOO WITHOUT ANY EXTRA CHARGE. CINDERS SMELLED GOOD AND THEY MADE SURE SHE WAS COMPLETELY DRY BEFORE I PICKED HER UP. THEY TOLD ME TO COME BACK 5 HOURS LATER TO MAKE SURE SHE WAS DRY SO SHE WOULDN'T GET SICK. THEY CLIPPED HER NAILS. PUT A BOW ON HER. CINDERS SEEMED TO STAY CLEAN A LONG TIME. CINDERS WASN'T STRESSED WHEN I PICKED HER UP.
