    Paradigm Home Solutions
Words alone can not express my GRATITUDE for Andrew Kevitch owner of Paradigm. About 20 years ago we had a French drain and sump pump installed in our basement (the summer of the drought!) never had a problem. Last week I discovered water in our unfinished part of the basement near AC unit. It spread to the finished part, we used the wet vac for a few days called a couple 'pros' to come out 1 guy total me my system failed and I needed a whole new system etc. I googled them and they had 5 complaints against them on the BBB site. Also after a few days of using the wet vac no water, but we had rain, but the A/C was off. So I went to Angie's list and searched. Paradigm looked great. I did this at 8:30 Thursday night, Friday morning Andrew emailed me that they would be nearby and could come at lunch time. He also emailed me again to say he may not make it but would do his best, emailed me again to let me know he had a pump and then called me to say he was on his way. He and his partner got to my house, inspected my basement and assured me I DID NOT need a new French drain and sump pump what was causing the water was a build up in my AC something pipe and I needed a condensation pipe to drain the water. My system was working the pipe was clean albeit the old black kind that the other guy said was an issue. I have a Zoeller pump and he said they are the best and that's what they use. Chatted about sports and saved 5k for a new system plus the repair of walls etc. My faith in humanity is restored by Andrew's honest and prompt answer. I would recommend them highly and if I ever do need a system installed or any of the work they do I am hiring them! Excellent he went above and beyond and we are so thankful. Sincerely Julie & Danny Sheehy Exton, PA

    Waterproofing One
Joe was quick to return my initial phone call and even came out to the house on a Sunday to take a look at our issue.  He spent extra time trying to determine the cause of our water damage and how to most effectively prevent it from recurring.  My husband and I immediately felt comfortable with Joe and so we hired him (we had previously met with a larger company that wanted to charge us twice as much money for half the amount of work).  The job was delayed a couple of days due to another running over, but we had expected that to begin with (given the profession) so it wasn't an issue.  Andy showed up with his crew and they started on the exterior work first, which was more labor intensive than they had originally thought as it required digging about 7 feet down for the chimney.  This required more time for the job but Joe did not increase the cost, which we appreciated.  Andy and his team were professional, courteous, and worked very hard to get the job done timely.  They also did their best to preserve 2 expensive trees that were planted in front of one of the walls being waterproofed from the exterior.  I wasn't home when they finished the job and when I returned I noticed they had forgotten the pop-up drain, but when I let Joe know about it he had it completed right away so it wasn't an issue.  Joe was very responsive and easy to work with!  I would definitely hire him again, as well as recommend him to friends and family.

I wanted them to fix my leaking basement, but they couldn't figure it
out and only provided the bandaid solution about "getting a sump pump".
My water wasnt coming from the ground, so that didn't really help me.
And they quoted me $1,000 just to patch the area that was leaking. They
might be good for general jobs, but for real basement problems, id look
    elsewhere.

    B-Dry Waterproofing & Foundation Repair
Their service was excellent. The professionalism of the gentleman that gave the quote was great. The gentleman that did the repair was very knowledgeable and explained what he was doing while he was doing it. They had a great warranty. They offered a lifetime warranty that will stay with my house if I should sell it. I had competing quotes that were in the same ballpark but they excelled in the warranty and the amount of work they offered.

    Value Dry
Very good. Both the sales guy and the crew(2 days later) showed up on time. The crew did a wonderful job in terms of cordoning off the area and keeping the non-work areas  very clean (plastic sheets everywhere to keep the dust contained). It took 3 guys about 6 hours to install 64 feet of the pipe in the drain (+ pump, cleanup, etc). Only issue was, 1 day later, I saw water around my HVAC (the french drain goes around the HVAC unit). I called them @ 10.00 pm and like they had promised, an operator answered and took my information down. A technician called me the next day and I gave him the info. A guy showed up today and turns out that the water pump that drains the water from my A/C unit to outside was full and wasn't working. Most likely, when the install crew did the install, they must have moved the pump and  not put it back together correctly. Anyway, he pressed it shut and it started working again. And even this guy was very courteous. He even gave me some useful tips to keep water away from my yard. Hopefully this is it. But to me, this was a good test of their service. And i'm happy that they  lived up to their billing. So overall, its been good so far. The sales guy was a little high pressure, but then again, that's his job. If you cant take high pressure sales guys, dont call them :-) No issue with regards to quality. They were higher than another quote that I got, but I went with them for all the other benefits from an established contractor. And they didn't disappoint me (at least not yet).

Jim Zaccario met with me and described in detail how they would address the problem. He gave me a proposal and we set a date for the work to be done. The crew arrived on time, set up their materials and protected the carpeting over the entire area. The work was completed on time and the supervisor reviewed the work after they finished.  They cleaned up everything and the room looks as good as new.  What a terrific experience.

The estimate was done in a friendly but professional manner, the scheduling was done easily to fit our needs. The men arrived on time and did a good job. We were expecting a big mess but that didn't happen and they cleaned up the unavoidable nicely. Definitely recommend them.

    RAY WEBB INC
Ray came as promised. He and his men started the job. They called to inform us that the prior people had installed the piping incorrectly. He quoted the job at $1500 the additional charge was $400. We agreed and he completed the job. He and his men were professional and cleaned everything up. Mother nature has tested it many times over..with the rains and all the snow we have not had any issues so far!! I would gladly use Ray again and I would definately recommend him.

    JES BASEMENTS SYSTEMS
JES is probably the worst and most unethical vendor I have ever dealt with. The sales pitch and what was actually delivered could not have been more different. Work crews had no regard for the property in our house. Carpets were not properly covered and were badly soiled in several areas. Workers threw the molding they said would be "carefully preserved" so it could later be re-installed in a heap on our front walk-way in the rain. Upon completion of work on day # 2, the crew chief apologized for the way the crew had left things and for damage to the carpet, and agreed that JES would pay us for having all the basement carpets cleaned. Based on him putting this in writing I released full payment. When I subsequently submitted the bill to JES, I was told that the crew chief was not authorized to agree to this reimbursement, and JES refused to pay me the $253 I had incurred.
