    Mace's Masonry
Excellent! I was a little uncertain at first since they came in with one of the best price quotes. Their contract was professional and thorough, spelling out details. Mace came well recommended and lived up to his reputation. He and his crew were pleasant and friendly even after encountering unexpected time-consuming problems when digging our the wall and finding an additional poured concrete wall that had to be jack-hammered away. In the new walls, they cemented in rebar to strengthen the wall. Two contractor friends of mine came by when the job was done and looked at the work and said the block laying was excellent. I am very pleased.

    Glass Block Specialties By Bruno
This is the third time I have had a glass block window installed by this company, and every time it was handled in the most professional way possible - competitive price, prompt, courteous, careful, respectful of my property, great installation job, etc.  I could not be happier with Louie Bruno and his team!
The last window was installed in the basement of an 1898 red brick Victorian house, and it looks great!  I highly recommend this company.

    CRAIG D LAWERGREN MASONRY INC
We hired Craig Lawergren to repair/re-point the stone facade of our home.  He and his personnel provided a reasonable estimate for the services requested and then completed the work for below the quoted amount.  They accommodated our schedule and completed the work in a timely fashion.  The work appears in all respects to be of the highest quality and fully remedied the cracking and masonry pops on our home's stone entry and surrounding areas.  They left the work area clean and orderly.  We would recommend them without hesitation or qualification.

    Mace's Masonry
It was fantastic.  They kept in contact about all the work and they were on time with the schedule.  They did everything I expected them to do.  They were very courteous and so I was very pleased overall.  They were very professional.  They were excellent and the price was fair.  They weren’t the cheapest but they weren’t expensive either.

    DALE SHILLING MASONRY
Initial work was done in September 2012 and was completed by a three man crew in an amazing day and a half. The crew used critically important, compressible thermal expansion joints around both tile flues and sealed them with high grade thermal caulk. At completion, homeowner inspected work and was shown one new top course corner brick that had to be caulked because it had been 'pulled' during the removal of the crown form. Was assured that it was both structurally and hydraulically sound. Balance of the project looked great including the mortar and crown color match. The home was well protected throughout the process and site was left neat and clean when they departed.
However, a June 2013 inspection of the chimney revealed cracking along the horizontal mortar joints of the top two new courses of brick. Dale was contacted and our shared diagnosis was that the crown form was probably cinched up too tight before the mortar for the new courses had completely set. He returned in July, at his expense, to undercut and re-pointed the mortar joints for those courses.
Bottom line: Dale and his crew were organized, efficient, and quality oriented. His premium price was justified by their performance and his willingness to accommodate the homeowner's request for a custom crown. It is our belief that the call-back issue arose simply from trying to cast the crown the same day as laying the new courses of brick.

    Antonio & Son Contracting
Called to schedule an estimate for basement waterproofing for the only day my brother would be in from out of town, Oct. 13, 2012.  They confirmed our appt. via phone call.  They not only never bothered to show up, but they never even called to offer any explanation or apology.

    Glass Block Specialties By Bruno
We had Glass Block Specialties by Bruno replace our huge old wooden basement windows. Our house is 200 + years old in the city. We had received estimates from some other companies that ranged from outrageous to scarry cheap. Bruno was not the cheapest by far but there product which was 100% American made was the best in my opinion. Another reason we chose them was that they used cement to make and install the windows. Some of the other companies used caulking? I have had less than great experiences with caulking and my gut feeling is that it wont last in this climate. Bruno also did a great job explaining reason for cement vs caulking. The windows the put in for me are private and secure. I got vents for them too. The cement work the guys did in my old foundation was in my opinion art. It brightened up the basement and made it more quiet as well. I am so glad we chose these guys and i think they actually raised the value of our house. I am more than pleased. Sincerely Paul D.

    Antonio & Son Contracting
They rebuilt a garage wall that was over 3 inches out of plumb;  when the roofer insisted they fix it, so he could continue his work, they knocked part of it down and used 6 x 6 pieces of wood as spacers to get it more level.  It still bowed, was over an inch out of plumb, and had areas parged to try to hide their efforts.  I had another contractor come in to knock it down (they discovered the wood pieces); they completed the job beautifully.

    Graham, Sallot & Walker Masonry
The job was performed just as promised.  The workers arrived when they said they would and worked diligently until the job was completed.  The work site was left clean.  These men were professional.

    The Chimney Clinic
I called them and they came out in a timely manner. They were very pleasant, gave me a good price but couldn't do the work in the fall. THey needed nicer weather. I needed it done in order to get mortgage approved and couldn't wait. I found another contractor that could do the work immediately. It cost a little more but I had to have it done.
