    Kevin Harner Appliance Services Co
The Harners called when they were on their way and arrived within the window they gave. When I called and made the appointment, Mrs. Harner diagnosed the problem and ordered the part while I was on the phone so they could make the repair in one visit. She was correct in her diagnosis and they completed the repair quickly all the time letting me know what they were doing. We have wood floors in our kitchen and they were extra careful with their workno scratches! The heating element in our oven was fused to the metal in the bottom of the oven which made its removal difficult. Me. Harner was up to the challenge and was able to remove the old element (otherwise we would have had to buy a new stove!) They tested the stove before they left and made sure the stove was snugly back in its place. Mrs. Harner told gave me an estimate when I made the repair appointment and was within $10 of the actual cost. The Harners are friendly and direct and I will definitely use them again and recommend them. Thank you for extending the life of our stove, being efficient workers, and I almost forgot to mention that you impressed me by being kind to our dog. Thanks again!

They arrived as promised, and quickly diagnosed the problem, cleaned out lint and "debris" from the outside lint vent, the dryer lint vent, and the vent pipe. I was charged for a service call, and the labor. Both fees were quite reasonable.

    Richard Marshall's Appliance
I called Richard and told him the problem that I was having with my dishwasher, also noting that my wife had recently removed the filter to clean it. He asked, "Is it a newer model?" It is. He asked, "Is it possible food might have fallen in the filter area?" It was. He asked, "Is there still water in the bottom of the tub?" There was. He suggested I Shop-Vac the water out thoroughly and restart the dishwasher, and to call him back if I continued to have problems. I did as he suggested and....WOW! No problem! The leak was CURED! I called him back to just say thank you, and he explained it's a quirk with this particular run of dishwashers, and that occasionally removing the filters trips an internal sensor that causes this challenge. I am giving him an "A" rating and will DEFINITELY use him in the future. He is clearly knowledgeable, and I really appreciated how he dealt with my situation, professionally and courteously.

The Harners are timely, efficient, and reasonably priced. They arrived on time and quickly assessed the situation. A repair was made on the spot by replacing a part. The dryer door was fixed and I have had no further issues.

    CAT Services LLC (appliance repair)
The repair took two trips and was relatively expensive but it was in line with what they originally estimated. This is our 2nd experience with this company. Just like last time they were very responsive to calls and quickly scheduled an appointment. The repair person arrived in the time allotted and they work very hard and very fast while in our home. The technicians seemed very knowledgeable and repaired our refrigerator to its original working condition.
Most impressive is that there was a miscommunication between myself and the first technician resulting in some parts being ordered that he originally told me were not needed. When this was pointed out to the 2nd technician who came and completed the job, rather than charge me for the parts (which he did us in the repair), he apologized for the miscommunication and removed the charge.
    Terrific service and experience.

Came the next day after I contacted them. They were on time. Reasonably priced. Recommended that I might rather buy a new stove then fix it do to cost of the parts and age of the appliance. First time I have use their services and I will use them again in the future. Recommend them highly.

They came out several times, replaced a part and then switched it back with a refund when it didn't fix the problem. Although they were unable to fix the problem, they tried everything. What they charged was more than fair. In fact, I almost feel like they didn't charge me enough. I guess that just goes to show that local is always better than corporate. Hands down, they will be the only one's I will call if I have future fridge problems.

This small business is one to keep on speed dial.  They are extremely friendly on the phone and in person.  I am a landlord and don't live at the property that they were coming to fix.  So they gave me a two hour window, but they were nice enough to give me a call 20 minutes before they were going to be there, so I could meet them there instead of sit at my rental property for two hours waiting.  They didn't have the part on hand (because it's a unique part to go bad in a dryer this new and they can't keep every part in their van), but they found the part that day and came back the very next day to install it at a time that fit me.  They didn't even mention a payment the first day when the job wasn't done.  It took them 12 minutes the first day to diagnose the issue and about 15 minutes to take the dryer apart and install the new part on the second day.  I'm sold on small business owners verses the big guys.  It cost $150 to fix, but $65 of that was for the part.

When I called CAT the woman I spoke with was extremely pleasant and helpful. I called on a Friday morning an she informed me that the earliest appointment was on the following Monday morning. When I pressed her to see if they could come out sooner she put me on hold and called the repair technician who said he could stop by in the late afternoon if that was OK with me. I was not charged an and quot;emergencyand quot; fee which was great! While I was on the phone the woman asked me to describe the problem. I told her what the problem was and what I thought was wrong based on a little research that I had done. She thanked me for the info and said that she would have the technician pick up the needed part prior to arriving since it isn't a part they stock. The technician arrived on time and was professional, knowledgeable, and fast. After going through and eliminating any other potential causes for the problem he determined it indeed was what we thought, had the part on hand, and repaired it quickly. The overall experience was excellent! The cost was a bit high and I might have been able to get a better price elsewhere but for the speed and quality received it was with it paying a little extra!

    Harner's Appliance Service
Called this place recommended by the Kitchenaid web site (I just checked and they are no longer listed on that site) to fix my dishwasher. The dishwasher was only 3 years old and the lights were flashing on the control panel and would not start up. I was told it needed a new circuit board. After about a week they came over to install the board and charged another service charge. The board did not work so they said I needed the dishwasher on its own circuit however they could order a sister board that would override that. I waited and waited and called them to see what the delay was. They said the part was on back order and didn't know how long this would take. I waited a month and they never called me and when I called them to tell them that I can't wait any longer and will have someone else take a look at it they told me they lost their contract with Whirlpool (not sure if whirlpool owns kitchenaid?) and they couldn't get the part anyway. The told me they would refund my money. That was 4 weeks ago (and after numerous calls that they don't return) they still have not paid me.  I highly recommend you avoid Harner's Appliance Service if you actually want someone who will fix your appliance. These people do not communicate. You have to keep calling them back and they make promises that they don't or can't keep. I am out $137 and had to pay someone else to fix it. I wish I would have seen that they have 12 complaints against them at the Better Business Bureau that they did not respond to.
