    Hendrick's is not just a mechanic (and body shop); I have relied on their expertise for over twenty years, and it just gets better over time. They are the kind of old-fashioned, hard working group that seem to come from a bygone era. They have stood behind their work when something went wrong (even though it wasn't really what they had fixed), and they do not "create" work -- they will tell you what needs to be done and why. I have had everything from an oil change to replacing a transmission done here, and continue to trust them with the cars that I, my wife, and my kids drive. When I have had to drop off a car that has a problem, they are quick to diagnose and repair the car (at a reasonable rate), and get me back on the road safely.

    Relocated to this area and had multiple vehicles to register and inspect. AP came recommended from a colleague. I got appointments quickly, go t straight talk with what was needed to pass and what might be recommended for future. Used an online coupon for substantial discount. I felt very fairly treated and will be a return customer.

    The people there are fine. I am very happy with them, with how they treat me, and the service. They are very prompt. They have coffee and sometimes they have pastry and donuts in the waiting room. The inspection was about $20, but it was more than that because I had grease and oil. Price was average. They do a good job. I just had an appointment with the car and when my wife and I had an accident, I needed some emergency repair. Their punctuality is very good. They were right on-time. When I brought the car in, they took care of it right away and there was no problem.

    One of the reasons I selected them is they came to the house and did it. I think the experience was very good. They were great.

    The price was about what I expected it to be. I didn't really go and get competitive sales or anything so I don't really know how to compare it to others.

    As it turns out, they had two people show up, and one of them lives around the corner from us and it was just coincidental.

    I chose Mr. Ed's based on reviews on Angie's List. It was an excellent choice. He called me back promptly to schedule an appointment, making sure he understood exactly what services I wanted. It was obvious from the first conversation that customer satisfaction is important to him. His staff did an amazing job on the car. I didn't think they'd be able to get out as many stains as they did. Mr. Ed takes pride in the work he and his staff do. He is professional and polite. I was shocked to receive a handwritten thank you note for my business the next week. He exemplifies the best in small business (or business of any size)!

    We arrived at appointed time. Sales person not around. He was paged and didnt appear. We sat in waiting room for 20 minutes. When I went out to see if somebody else could complete the deal and deliver our new car, I found our salesman with other potential customers. We left and bought our new car, the next day from a different Subaru dealer.

    From my first contact with the receptionist to the Owner/Manager Eric to Steve the mechanic.
    Everyone was friendly, respectful, the shop waiting room was clean and there was free coffee.
    Eric & Steve explained they would check the car for free and then discuss what the options might be.
    It reminded me of a Mom & Pop shop, the customers were treated like family.  Honest hard working and they stand by there work if at any time I feel it is not running well or I hear something, I could bring it back in and again check it for free.
    I would use them again in a minute for any problems with my car in the future.

    I have never had an oil change take longer than 30 minutes; this Oil change took over 2 hours. They tried to sell me $891 of extra services and parts. They talked me into 'cleaning' my rear drum brakes for $33. When I discussed this brake cleaning service with a retired mechanic, he said this should have been a free service, as all they did was take off one part and blow in compressed air to clean. I felt that they were simply trying to 'upsell' me anything that could possible need replacing, updating, or cleaning: battery, tires, coolant system, transmission fluid, fuel system, air filters, alignment.

    It took them several months to find a lower-mileage engine. The first engine was snapped up by someone else before they could purchase it.
    Once they had the engine, the work was done lickety split.
    Hendricks and Sons is a great auto service company. They have an awesome work ethic. We have never been unhappy with the quality of their service and willingness to go out of their way to be helpful.

    I like it. They are very efficient. You just drive in; they have an express area that you don't even need an appointment. You just go up there and drive in and get out. They have a nice lounge to wait in and it is a good place.
