Tile Installation reviews in Eighty Four

High Price, Poor Quality Workmanship, Poor response, Lack of concern from owner...Do NOT Recommend!

The grout is popping on all of the ceramic tile in our kitchen, bathroom and laundry room floors.  The ceramic tile is moving side to side and therefore the grout continues to pop out.  And we paid alot extra for the Schluter Detra product which we found out was installed incorrectly!

Carpet was not stretched enough.  Every room with carpet (total 4) has buckeled.

Attempted to get Don Greer to back the poor installation completed by his crew, but he only made excuse after excuse.  He never addressed or resolved the issues and addressed his laborers poor workmanship on installation.

Don't let the beautiful showroom and experienced sales lady in the showroom fool you!

The quality of products are great, but the installers lack of installation knowledgeable, lack of on the job inexperience and lack of qualified training will "bite" you down the road.

After 8 years in our new home, we need to replace the tile in the laundry room and guest bathroom.  All of the carpets need replaced because they are severly buckeled.

Don't pay high high prices for poor poor workmanship!

We arranged for them to do the work while we were out of town and it was complete except for placing the grab bars to be sure they were where we wanted them. They finished the morning after we returned.

I paid half the cost for a deposit with Floor Designs Unlimited Flooring America and then paid the rest when they came to do the work. They still have to come back, because we had a problem. I did not like the bull nose. It didn't look like it was supposed to, the coloring was off. I had to go back into the showroom and I had to order some rondack. I am waiting for them to call me and come back out and finish it. I am happy with it so far. They did a real good job and were conscientious and everything. It was not there fault it was the manufacturer sent the bull nose and the color didn't match the tile when they got it. It was a reddish color and all the other tile I had was like a beige. I am happy with them. They have done everything they could possibly do. We are just waiting for the rondack to come in. I would absolutely use them again. They apologized, but it really wasn't there fault. They are doing everything they can and we are just waiting for the product to come in. I don't give As easily, because there is always room to improve.

Ceramic Tile Sales and More were a very good company, but they were a little more than the one we went with. They gave us a good quote. They were just higher priced then the company we went with. They were a good company. They came and gave us an estimate when we called them. I don't have anything bad to say about them. They were just a little more. We had a budget and we tried to stay within our budget. I was happy with them. They were responsive. They were lacking a little bit lacking in professionalism in their showroom.

Horribly, the installer was set in his ways and did not listen to our wants - he over-promised and under -delivered - he did not address our complaints and was rude and argumentative - He was let go and we are waiting to be refunded. The builder is not responding to our refund requests to date as well. The materials that were installed were done sloppily and in the case of the upstairs powder room and hall bathroom were laid out poorly and without our approval before grouting. We were told we would be given the opportunity to hand select from the inventory the tiles and the layout of these tiles and instead a part time emplyee laid out the floor and grouted before getting our approval. The master bath had defective tiles laid. Incorrectly ordered lower level shower tiles for the floor were installed and the owner Bill McGrath - implied that we were wrong - and that he ordered the right product -the lower level shower was not correctly waterproofed. His bid was chicken scratch and when we insisted for a typewritten bid- all the figures inside were different - but he came up with same bottom line. Overall - we were forced to use him by our builder -Custom Homes - and it made our dream home flooring a nightmare which we are still trying to correct. Wilmac Flooring Center is to be avoided and never considerd when there are so many other reliable professionals availeable in the market. In addition commercial grade aluminum scluter strips wre installed without giving us the option of finishes - the commercial aluminum strips oxidiz horribly and continuously -creating a maintanence issue-research after the fact showed that these strips come in numerous anodized finishes which not only add style but also prevent corrosion and oxidatmion for only a few dollars more.

Did an outstanding job on the tile work in our bathroom and kitchen. Cannot tell where tile and grout were replaced. Reasonable price for professional work.
