    We were relocating for my new house. We went for Northeastern Movers because they gave us the lowest quote. They were very efficient at everything. The movers arrived on time and everything went really smoothly. Nothing was broken or damaged when they made the delivery. They made our move so easy. I recommend them very highly.

    The 1st phone call went fine after quite a long conversation about why I needed a personal inspection ie; a large home, piano, steep driveway, etc. confirming with manager, as he left the phone and came back to agree to send out an agent to personally view my items. I didn't want to have the problems that so many people seem to have with "over the phone quotes" especially because I have so many items and antiques. I was told that the local agent would contact me with a time and date to come to my home. When contacted, 5 days later, by email, again, not local, I called the number and new agent Jeremy Smith, provided. I started to explain why I needed someone to come out, he rudely interrupted me, saying "we are going to pass on this move, goodbye." After dropping other movers, time spent with the 1st agent, waiting for response, this is how this company treats people. Now I am less than 30 days trying to get a mover. Well there was one good thing that came out of this is, imagine how bad they would be if I had actually used them!!

    Matt, Henry and the others were absolutely fantastic. They were fast, efficient and most of all careful. I had some items in my china closet that were very delicate and Henry was the greatest at packing all of that stuff.

    If I could leave 0 stars I would. This is the worst moving company you can ever hire. A nightmare we are experiencing even three months after the move. We moved from NJ to Pennsylvania. We are still missing items. Boxes that were marked fragile were stacked on top of one another in such a way that they buckled and collapsed, creating damage. We found broken pieces of furniture that were hidden by the moving team. They left cigarette butts all over both locations as well as garbage, empty cans etc. They placed a dresser in the wrong place giving no access to the drawers. We had asked for them to leave the generator when they load the truck, however at the end of the process we realized they loaded the generator as well (which was included in the sale of the home and had to stay). Tim, the owner, became irate and rude refusing to unload the generator saying it would take him 20 minutes to unload it and load the rest of the stuff again. Money was held in escrow until Peers returned the generator which they did that night, however we were unable to reach anyone in the company, Tim or Sheila ALL DAY and get a straight answer. DO NOT USE THEM, YOU WILL REGRET IT. The pictures are a piece of our Tempurpedic bed which we found hidden behind a dresser, and pictures of the dresser that we still don't have access to because of the way it was placed and we cannot move it three months later...

    Worst experience ever. My husband had provided them with an accurate list of what we needed to have moved and the estimate was for $1500. The day before the move, my husband was called and told that they added another man because we have a piano, but that the move would go faster. We waited for the truck to arrive at 10:00 am. Eventually, my husband found out by calling that their truck had broken down and they had to rent another. They arrived at 2:30 pm. The movers came in, and their leader assured us that everything would fit in the truck. My husband had moved everything - everything - out of the basement in boxes to the garage except a treadmill. Everything was emptied from two of the bedrooms and only a king size bed (disassembled) and a queen sized bed (disassembled), two headboards and two dressers remained. They had included a large refrigerator and washer/dryer in estimate that we chose not to move. The movers were very slow and lazy. It was a hot day, so I provided cold bottled water and soda. It took 45 minutes for them to tape up my king sized mattress in padding. By about 7:30 they started just standing around in the driveway. Already 5 hours into the process they fiddles and fiddles with stuff, then said that everything wouldn't fit. I asked the head guy what the heck was he going to do, that everything had to be out of the house by 11:00 am the next day. He tried to call a supervisor & this rapidly escalated. I could just leave the stuff. My mother's memorial garden bench, my piano and the part of the treadmill, plus misc other stuff. Leave it! I told him that it was his problem and they'd better get another truck out here to move it. His supervisor, on the phone said he'd do it for another $1100. I was not using nice language here. The cost changed and my husband refused to pay the additional money they had charged for shoddy service (of course a deposit had been made previously). So they drove away with our belongings. We had to rent a UHaul in the morning (my husband is 68 years old with a heart condition) load everything, attend 2 closings and drive and unload the uhaul, leaving our car in Stroudsburg. Meanwhile, we didn't know if we would get our furniture back. They did deliver the furniture. They required $2500 cash to get our furniture, on top of the deposit. We had to pay it. There was an additional charge because their truck didn't get returned until after midnight - the day they were to show up at 10:00. The initial estimate was $1500 for everything and turned into close to $3000 + the stress, cost of a UHaul, etc. It was entirely unprofessional and I will not let this drop until I have a refund of the extra cost from this nasty horrible company.

    Mayflower AAA MOVING

    The Packers arrived punctually on Friday June 27.  They used yellow stickers with a number range to identify which boxes they packed.


    On Monday June 30, the Movers arrived.  Their job was to place stickers on all items and pack everything into the truck.  They made the mistake of also using yellow stickers and the same number range.  Mayflower policy is to use a different color sticker and number range for the packers and movers.   Why does this matter?  Now when I eventually receive my belongings, I will not be able to easily cross off the items on a bingo sheet coming into the door since I will have duplicate numbers and colors on our boxes.


    My delivery date for my belongings was a liberal range of July 3 through July 14.  Plenty of time to get a driver to send my belongings to TN.  It is now July 18 and my belongings are still sitting in their Stockertown, PA warehouse with no driver available.


    It is inexcusable for them to be accepting orders on shipments when they cannot deliver on their promise of delivery dates.  The HUGE expense and misery of being in an empty house for this long is intolerable.  I call daily to their headquarters and also the Stockertown, PA warehouse with no sign of a driver to bring us down our belongings.


    I do not recommend these movers. Pat Larch, the COO of Mayflower needs to better understand the issues with AAA Moving and Storage.

    Came just slightly late but very helpful and eager to assist. They disassembled and reassembled at new address. Gave assistance without complaint.  Very courteous. Price was just under quote. Hopefully will not to need to move again.

    They performed all services with an extremely professional attitude and made sure to go the extra mile to make sure everything was exactly perfect both loading and unloading. They were cautious and attentive when handling our belongings, yet also made sure to do everything in a timely manner. Friendly, fast, affordable, and quality services - we're going through two moves right now (consolidating 2 residences into 1) and it is night and day difference dealing with Bobby over the larger moving companies. These guys treat you right.
    I would recommend them to ANYONE looking to move. They are quite simply the best at what they do.

    I hired B&D Movers to move several items for me after finding them through an ad on Craigslist. They were the first to respond professionally, and their rate was reasonable. I like that they asked plenty of questions, and were thorough in communication. We set a Saturday date for our move. The only real issue we had was that their earlier move on Saturday took much longer than they expected and ended up making them quite late. (I do believe, though, this was through no fault of the movers.) They called to let us know when they were en route. When they arrived (a team of 2) they handled our furniture carefully. They showed up with hand trucks, a professional truck, straps and tie-downs, etc. All went pretty smoothly. I'd hire them again. We were pleased.

    They were very good. They packed my stereo unit really well and nothing cracked. They did not damage my house or furniture. Their work was beautiful and great. Three guys worked and did a tremendous work. I was very satisfied with them. Their price was very cheapest when compared to others. They were here on time. They placed everything where I wanted them to. I would use them again in the future.
