Cottman Transmission and Total Auto Care
It went great. They did a nice job and they gave me a good estimate. They did it quickly. They had it done when they said they're going to be done. I had a good experience with them overall. It took them a week.

    George's Garage
I called George and asked if he could tell me exactly where it was. He said "Put the car up on a lift. Shine a small flashlight up behind the radiator and look beyond the exhaust manifold and you will see pink dried coolant." I called the dealer back and repeated exactly what George said. An hour later, the dealer called back to say they found the leak and it was covered under the 7 year, 100,000 mile warrantee. I was under the wire by 20,000 miles and 5 months. Afterward, I learned the cost to repair it, out of warrantee, would have been $3,000 as the engine must be dropped. George has been repairing our cars for over 20 years. He is the best. Thank you George!

    Firestone Complete Auto Care Store
I brought my SUV in and described the problem. I was having a VERY difficult time getting the car in gear...and sometimes it slipped out of gear. I thought it might be my transmission, so I was expecting a big ordeal. They took the car inside and in about 10 minutes called me to the counter and told me is was $21. I almost fainted! They could have really ripped me off. These guys are great!

Had a issues with seats and also cup holder in the Maxima. This dealer attempted to address but work was less than expected. Seats were never completely pu back together and now- several months later after the service to fix the cup holder the entire unit between seats is loose and obviously was not put back together. I now drive to Wilkes Barre to get the car serviced when needed.

After having several dealings with Rayco, I would never go back again.  I do not recommend anyone to buy or have a vehicle serviced.  I had service performed and my wheels were ready to fall off.  My life was in danger and they couldn't be bothered.

The guys who work in the service department and salesmen were good to deal with. If I have something to fix they can get me in the same day. I only live 2 minutes from the dealer so they would bring me home and I never actually wait for the car. Somebody would bring me home and I would go back later. We have bought six cars from them.

    Davey Bitt's Service Center
He is honest and he does competent work. He is easy to schedule. He will call when he is working on the vehicle if it turns out to be something more than he thought it was and will require additional repairs. He is relatively easy to schedule. He also does car inspections and I have been able to get him to do one in a couple of days’ notice at the end of the month when I forgot to get it done. His prices are very reasonable. He will take me to work and pick me up at the end of the workday. His place of business is about a mile from where I work. I don't know if he would do that for everybody.

Unbelievably well.  He walked me to the office after I parked the car and found my account on the computer (must be files from previous owner, because I haven't been here in a long time).  VERY quickly he came back and asked me to the desk.  He told me some fluid was low, but they topped that off as part of the service and there was no charge.  He went thru the screens the old owners went through and tried to pressure you to buy - like transmission service, turbo charge stuff, 150K mile stuff - all kinds of things I don't know anything about.  He went thru 3 or 4 of those screens and told me I didn't need any of that.

He did say that my left rear turn signal was broken.  I knew that, but didn't know Jiffy Lube fixed that kind of thing.  He said if I wanted, they could do it for $6.99!  Ladies, has any car-guy EVER done anything for you for only $6.99?

After paying, I went to leave and one of the workers was standing outside the door.  He opened it for me and handed me the key.  Then he followed me to my car and opened THAT door, too.

The next time I'm feeling depressed, I think I will go have my oil changed and be treated like Queen for a Day!

Auto Repair in Stroudsburg - Meineke 691
I dropped my car off around 9AM for an oil change & to have my tires rotated because it was free with the service. I told them I needed my car back by 3PM. I called at 2:30 to see if it was finished and was told by girl that answers the phone that people that wait for their cars are taken care of first. I received a call at 3 from the mechanic saying that there were all sorts of problems with my vehicle, he was talking so fast I couldn't even understand what he was saying. I told him not to do anything to my car except change the oil & rotate the tires. When I went to pick my car up at 4 the mechanic very quickly went through the list of "problems". He said my car was unsafe to drive because my rear brakes were "falling off", there was a major oil leak, all my fluids needed to be changed & all my belts needed to be changed. I had my boyfriend who is an ASE certified mechanic check all this out because the brakes did not squeal or make any other type of sound before or after taking my car there. The mechanic's response to my oil leak was to put dye in the engine & have me go back in a week so they can look at it with a black light and pin point the leak. My boyfriend told me the oil leak was actually from the oil filter & the leak was fixed once the filter was changed, I have not seen any oil spots on the ground at all. I also just had all my belts changed 30,000 miles ago, I know they don't need to be changed for another 30,000 miles.

    Fargione Auto Service
I've been taking my Pontiac to this shop for the past two years. I am not a native of the area so it was difficult to find a reliable shop. Fargione Auto did their work in a quick time frame, they did good work and I liked the prices. I've gotten ripped off at other shops so it was nice to find somewhere that was fair. They made a mistake fixing my car the last time which I could see other shops getting defensive about it, but this shop took responsibility and fixed it quickly.
