    Mike Little Flooring
Mike Little did a laminated flooring job for me in Drexel Hill, PA. He did excellent work. The floors look beautiful. I find Mike to be polite, attentive, honest, reliable, highly professional and overall a good guy to work with. He saved me several boxes of floor which I will now be using toward another project. I highly recommend his services.

John and his staff were consummate professionals. They were independent, respectful, superbly helpful, extremely neat and true devoted craftsmen. You can tell by speaking with John that he REALLY cares about the work and is invested in your property. He made suggestions during the job that not only upgraded the initial quality of what we were looking for but saved us a bit of money in the end. He is honest with the state of the work that needed to be done and make outstanding creative suggestions when asked for his opinion (color, style blend, etc). His team was like ghosts, they did not stray from the work/ staging areas and were essentially ghosts - the only signs of their presence was the completed work. It was done about a week faster than they anticipated and honestly looks better than we hoped. Amazing work, I wish we found them sooner. I'd hire John 10/10 times if I had to do it over. he definitely over-delivered for us.

It went very well! I returned home from the shore one Sunday to find my basement had flooded. It was terrifying and terribly stressful. I contacted Michael who'd just been at my house the previous week to give me an estimate for some other minor handywork. He was very responsive and came the very next day. I had carpets in my basement and it was already starting to develop a terrible moldy smell. Michael had one of his workmen remove it ASAP! Michael was with me when I had to meet with the insurance adjustor and was very helpful. They laid a new tile floor, replaced water-damaged doors, fixed an electrical outlet and replaced my sump-pump motor. Also did some parging to replace crumbling walls. All the work came out beautifully and I feel more secure with my basement. Earlier in the spring, his company replaced the four columns on my front porch. They were old and the wood was starting to rot. They replaced them with resin columns and did it in one day! I was very happy with the work and it was a big relief to remove that from my "to do" list. Michael is professional and pleasant and any questions I had, he made himself accessible and available to answer. When my basement flooded, I was so unsure how to proceed but he helped me with each step that needed to be taken. I would highly recommend M&K Renovations for your home improvement needs, be it a big project or just things around the house that need to be done.

Ubie is a consumate professional. He shows up when he says he will, communicates timely and exceptionally well, and takes great pride in his work. He pays attention to detail, and is very careful about cleaning up, and job preparation. He is very respectful of your property. Ubie is a throwback to the old craftspeople whose word and handshake were their bond. I have used Ubie Haynes on 3 separate occasions, and will use him again when needed. I highly recommend him to anyone who takes pride in their home and wants top notch quality work done properly by a dedicated professional.

It was totally awesome, Mike and his sons were very responsive to our requests, brought any concerns to us before they became big issues, and made the entire process very easy to tolerate. Mike even took us to a cabinet specialist to choose our style, we found things we didn't even know existed. It's hard going without your kitchen but theses guys were not only professional but fun to work with. Working on getting the bathroom done next by MK Remodeling. I would highly recommend.

Working with Gregg was super easy.  This work was for my first house flip project.  The end result turned out beautifully.
I ask lots of questions and Gregg was happy to share his vast experience with me.  He made several suggestions that worked out perfectly.  And I learned a lot throughout the time working with him.
As with any house flip project, there were a few issues that cropped up and Gregg's professionalism really shined.  I was impressed.
I would certainly recommend you talk to Gregg before your next project.

    |The project I wanted the contractor to work on was finishing my attic. Some of the work was done, I was only looking for a boost to help speed along the process. | |The contractor was very punctual in responding to my calls/texts/emails, but when it came to arriving on time to the job site, they were usually 20-40 minutes late. What I had purchased was a $1600 credit for labor, which did not include supplies, and equated to about 35 hours of work. The manager that I met with scheduled a team of two workers for two consecutive days (10/19 & 10/20). It was verbally agreed upon that as long as I purchased the supplies, which I did and were ready for pick up at a local big box store, the following would get done in the two day time frame: secure the sub-floor, demo 80 sq.ft. of interior old wall, insulate and drywall the attic area as well as the area that was demo-ed, patch 4 holes in a second floor ceiling about 5" in diameter each, and frame out a knee wall. | |What was completed was about 40% of the drywall and securing the sub-floor. Trash from their lunches was left in the attic from the last day. None of the wall that needed to be demolished was done, which means that area wasn't insulated or re-drywalled. The knee wall was not framed out and the rest of the attic was not insulated either. The crew also disconnected the 2nd floor bathroom exhaust fan and installed a sub-floor over top of it, with no hole for the pipe to connect to it or for the fan to vent. | |When I communicated my concerns with the manager, he scheduled a time and came over to evaluate it in person. The reasoning that was given behind the lack of finished work was the workers had to carry all the supplies into the attic for them which took up a bulk of the time. I was given the quote on the job and the amount of work while the manager and I were standing in the attic. The location of where the workers would be was known before the job began, which is why I was not satisfied with that answer. | |When I inquired how much it would cost to finish the rest of the project, attic to 100% of what I am looking for, the manager quoted me $6000. This came as a surprise to me since I have purchased most of the materials already, which he knew, and considering the lack of progress on the existing project, I would have thought this would have make the price a little more understanding. I had also asked how much he charged per hour if I wanted to have his team come over a day at a time, and he quoted me $45/hr. This hourly quote means that his overall job quote of $6000 equated to over 133 working hours. | |I do not want to be contacted by this vendor. I cannot trust, even if Angie's List were to send him back out free of charge, that the work that would be done would be to my satisfaction, since what has been completed is not. I would not recommend this contractor to anyone. I hope Angie's list re-evaluates having this vendor represent other vendors that don't give the website a bad reputation. | |Thank you for your time. |John Reichert
