    Ackerman Chiropractic Services PC
I go to Ackerman Chiropractic.  There easy to make appointments with and usually when you end up there at the appointment time they are available.  I didn't give them an A because I think he has a couple of stations that he keeps moving around with and I didn't feel like, he was giving us the vanilla treatment, you know, more than real chiropractic.  Because with a chiropractor you expect to be treated, hands on treatment but I think he tended to use the electronic stimulator and such.

Dr. Joe is wonderful! He takes the time to find out your problem and knows exactly how to treat it. I started with weekly treatments and relief was immediate. He has a larger than life personality and he makes you feel good even when your feeling bad. Scheduling is easy and you can be in and out and on your way very quickly. I highly recommend him! His rates are very reasonable.

    Rehrig Chiropractic & Wellness Center
At 70 years of age, I have had the benefit of many years of treatment with several practitioners. Originally I always went to an osteopath
for a manipulation, but there are almost no osteopaths nowadays who still know good manipulation. So in the early 90s I went to a chiropractor skilled in Direct Non-Force Technique or DNFT. There are now no DNFT practitioners here in this area with the exception of one who does not take insurance.

Fortunately I heard of Dr Rehrig through word-of-mouth at my yoga class. I feel so lucky to have found someone so skilled and so willing to treat the whole patient. His practice is based on word-of-mouth. He does little advertising.

As a result of a gym injury, I was in intense pain in the whole lower right side from my sciatic nerve. He also told me that my body was reacting to an overload of medications, based on his findings. I stopped a 30-year habit of Tylenol Arthritis Strength and ibuprofen and naproxen sodium and started taking his whole food supplements supplied from Standard Process, Inc. By the first day the pain started to subside and within three days the intense pain that had brought me to tears in his office was gone.

This year with Christmas money, I am planning to give my body the gift it deserves by taking part in his Nutritional Program. According to Dr. Rehrig, it is impossible to lose weight without providing the nutrition the body requires. Then and only then can one lose inches and weight to achieve the fitness so important to make it worthwhile to get up in the morning.

    CASTERIOTO FAMILY CHIROPRACTIC PC
I was in an automobile accident, and I think that is what he deals with the most. He was telling me that he charges $50 for each visit, and he wanted me to come 3 days a week. I said I could not afford it, and he told me that the insurance pays a percentage of it. We worked down from that because I did not have the time to give the treatments. He was very loud. I was in and out of there in less than 10 minutes after my tense machine treatments. He never changed the treatment. I went to him for about a year and a half diminishing the amount of visits over time. He called and reminded me a couple of times that I forgot. When everything was settled, I was shocked as to what he wanted for the treatment. He charged me over $3000. I didn't see anything with a percentage the insurance covered. I was unhappy that every time I went to see him, we did not really have a conversation about what I was feeling. I wouldn't recommend him to anyone.

Not only is Dr. "Joe" good at what he does, he makes treatment easy. In October 2008, I had been diagnosed with cervical stenosis in C5-C7, went to the orthopedic surgeon had the litany of MRI's and electrode testing. By the time all the testing was complete in December of 2008, the pain had subsided and no additional follow-up was suggested by the orthopedist. In July 2010, the pain reoccured and, based on the success my partner had with Dr. Joe, I decided to see what he had to say. Now mind you, I previously was not a beliver in Chiropratics but am now. Dr. Joe immediately had my MRI results faxed over and was amazed that no follow-up had been perfomed. I went onto a 10 week regime which has alleviated the pain and am on a once a month routine. I look forward to my monthly visits as it loosens me up as I get stiffer close to the end of the month. My partner found Dr. Joe through a recommendation from a woman he works with. He began seeing him in October 2007 when he awoke spasiming. Prior to October he had been hospitalized for 5 days because of the spasm and lower back pain. Dr. Joe not only assisted in stopping the spasms and successfully treating the issue (which the hospital and physical therapy did not) he was helpful in diagnosing the problem which the MD did not. Shannon in the office is extremely firendly and there usually never a wait...unless it's football season and Dr. Joe goes off on a fantasy football tangent!

One of the best things I like about Dr. Joe is that you're wisked right into one of his treatment rooms almost as soon as you're in the door. He's not only punctual but has a great sense of humor and treats each patient like a person, not a number. Over the years, I've tried a few chiropractors. Dr. Joe remains my favorite and have been seeing him for at least 5+ years. Another great thing about Dr. Joe is that he has a massage therapist on site a few days a week. Usually, I try to book my treatments on Wednesdays when she's there. The cost of Dr. Joe's treatment also includes approximately 10 minutes of massage which supplements the spinal alignment. It's SO nice to walk out of a doctor's office literally floating on air! The cost of his treatment isn't included in this report since many people have medical insurance and the co-pay varies from person to person.

    Casterioto, Dr. Joe
Dr. Joe has a wonderful sense of humor and it's really refreshing to spend time getting a treatment. In my case, I usually get about 15 minutes of electrical stim pads on my back which is quite relaxing. After that, he adjusts my back and neck. Added to that, he flexes my legs to loosen up tight muscles and checks their mobility. I schedule my appointments on Wednesdays because he has a wonderful massage therapist on site that gives a great 10-15 minute massage to the problem areas Dr. Joe just finished working on! I literally float out of his office when I leave.
