    Tru Basement Waterproofing inc
Patrick, the owner, came to look at our basement and spent time with us discussing options. Our original plan was to resurface several areas of wall, but we decided to do a more extensive renovation, including removing old wood paneling, resurfacing all walls, adding a french drain around the perimeter and installing a new sump pump and dehumidifier. He provided a detailed written estimate on the spot. Victor was assigned to our project and he discussed progress with us along the way and answered any questions we had. He clearly took great pride in his work and we appreciated his attention to detail. Workmen showed up on time when expected and completed the project in 5 days. After several months our basement remains nice and dry even during hard rains. The dehumidifier helps to take care of any humidity and can be set to any level. We are very pleased with our new and improved basement!

It went very well! I returned home from the shore one Sunday to find my basement had flooded. It was terrifying and terribly stressful. I contacted Michael who'd just been at my house the previous week to give me an estimate for some other minor handywork. He was very responsive and came the very next day. I had carpets in my basement and it was already starting to develop a terrible moldy smell. Michael had one of his workmen remove it ASAP! Michael was with me when I had to meet with the insurance adjustor and was very helpful. They laid a new tile floor, replaced water-damaged doors, fixed an electrical outlet and replaced my sump-pump motor. Also did some parging to replace crumbling walls. All the work came out beautifully and I feel more secure with my basement. Earlier in the spring, his company replaced the four columns on my front porch. They were old and the wood was starting to rot. They replaced them with resin columns and did it in one day! I was very happy with the work and it was a big relief to remove that from my "to do" list. Michael is professional and pleasant and any questions I had, he made himself accessible and available to answer. When my basement flooded, I was so unsure how to proceed but he helped me with each step that needed to be taken. I would highly recommend M&K Renovations for your home improvement needs, be it a big project or just things around the house that need to be done.

Both Marks (dad and son) were fabulous! They were on the job to supervise (not all day) but enough to make sure the right work was done. Their crew is so knowledgeable and polite - true experts with the machinery. They made sure to match the sod to existing grass in front of house. They even moved two peonies and shored up one of my pawpaw trees at no extra charge!! I can't say enough good things about them. Their references checked out too - totally consistent with my experience. I do plan to hire them again - have some more work on the sides and front of house to complete.

Work was prompt, workers were courteous, they cleaned up when completed. They were flexible with me and worked to help me keep costs down. Anything that came up (something always comes up) was fully (and patiently) explained and usually multiple options were given. The was was done weeks ago and the basement has remained bone dry including through some sever storms where I know it would have flooded in the past.

Once the old sidewalk was broken up and removed. it was discovered the root problem was much greater than anticipated. Quinn Bros workers put in extra effort and time (i.e. kept going until dark) to deal with the roots properly and still finish the project on time promised. No extra charge was assessed (though I did tip two of the workers.)

    Rick Brown General Contractor LLC

Out of all the contractors I have used, I feel most comfortable with Rick doing anything I need inside of the home.  For the quality of work he does, his prices are very good.  He does the job right the first time even if it requires him to make an extra run to the home improvement store not to splice a piece of trim together or stay a little late to get the job done.  He is always on time and in communication during the many projects he has done for me.  I have recommended Rick to my co-workers which have also been satisfied with his work.

The company that came I am considering them for additional work. Typically contractors come out and give a free bid analysis or quote. In essence that is what he did. He spent more time with me than I expected. They knew their stuff and I may use them.

    Crecraft for Tree Craft
Rick initially took a long time to respond to my inquiry (I think he misplaced the message), but once he did get in touch he was very conscientious and diligent about following up. After we discussed what had to be done to preserve the tree and prevent winter damage, I called to set up an appointment and he had a crew over to my house the same day. They were very professional and really knew their stuff. They even figured out a way to reduce the weight on the branches and straighten the growth pattern without "topping" the tree, simply by cutting off a few key branches, which was great. The tree looks much better and I didn't have to sacrifice any height.
While they were here, they also cut off a few overhanging branches of the big maple tree next door, and I'm glad they did. Plus, they cleaned up all the debris very neatly. The whole thing took less than an hour. Nice work!

    Paradigm Home Solutions
Andrew and his crew recognized that my tenant was nervous about the basement, so they completed the whole job in a day. As the job was being done, they discovered a broken sewer pipe. To be helpful to an Angie's list client, they repaired the pipe at no additional cost.
When the job was completed, the crew cleaned up the basement, and pointed out the wet cement areas to the tenant, so that
    no mess would be spread.
I have been 100% pleased with PARADIGM. I hope I never have a problem with wetness in any house I live in, but should it happen, I will certainly call Andy!
