    Secure For Sure LLC
The spring in my garage door broke and the door (double wide) could not be moved by hand. The company was quick to respond. Technician explained how the door mechanism worked and what needed to be done to fix the problem. Work was completed professionally, promptly and for a reasonable charge. I will definitely call them back when the door needs maintenance.

    A.S.A.P Garage Doors
The project went great. From the very start, Sal was very responsive and provided honest and accurate feedback on various questions related to the project. He was extremely helpful throughout the entire process! Sal and his team were punctual, extremely professional, and so courteous while at our house completing the installation. The work was second to none. The doors look great and Sal was very thorough in his explanations on how all of the new equipment worked. I would highly recommend A.S.A.P Garage Doors to anyone who is looking for garage door work and would definitely rely on them again if ever needed!

ALL TYPE GARAGE DOOR CO, INC.
During one of the winter snowstorms, I couldn't get the garage door open to get the snowblower out because the springs had broken. I called All Type Garage Door expecting to leave a message and have someone come out in a day or two, but they came 20 minutes later, in driving snow to fix my doors. Awesome service all the way around.

    McBrothers Overhead Doors
The job went beautifully. Couldn't be happier. I discovered McBrothers Overhead Doors at the Warminster Home Show (March 24). Ryan came out to the house March 28 and followed up with his proposal March 29. I signed the proposal March 30; the work was done April 10. The door looks and operates great. I'm very satisfied. I'm glad I chose McBrothers!! They truly deserve my "A" rating.

Extremely high mark up on materials. I looked up the parts on the invoice and found the garage door opener they charged me $570 was available at a RETAIL price of $250. RETAIL, which means they are getting it for half that and marking it up 450%!! Part # is LM8550w (go ahead and google it). The 2 springs they used RETAIL for $40 and they charged me $150 a piece ($300 total) so a 375% mark up and that's if they are paying retail for them which they're not. Part # is "250 39 Red Spring" (go ahead and google it.) Just absolute price gouging at its worst. My wife was home when they priced it out and I told her that they were ripping us off and to say no. After she hung up with me the "gentleman" told her a bunch of lies about why it was so expensive and pressured her into over-riding my decision. He told her it was so expensive because it was a "heavy duty" door opener that was necessary for the special door we had. We have a normal garage door, nothing special about it, and he didn't install a "heavy duty" door opener, it was a standard $250 unit that you can get at any home improvement store. The correct answer for why it was so expensive is that they mark it up 450% (he didn't say that). When I called the office to complain they said the mark ups are so high so they can cover overhead. This is bogus, every business has overhead, the businesses that sell the unit for $250 have overhead. They then told me they threw in a battery backup pack (which would not justify that big a mark up anyway). However the $250 unit included a battery pack standard so again bogus. Bottom Line: We got a new garage door installed and paid $1,000 total. $120 was for labor and service $220 was for parts $660 was mark-up on those parts They made $780 for an hour of work. This is criminal. I'll be contacting the BBB and would urge anyone to take a close look at your bill and what kind of mark up they have on the materials. They will likely reply to this with some bogus excuse about licensing and insurance and overhead costs but don't be fooled. All businesses have these costs, they are price gouging and ripping people off.

    Precision Door Service
The technician arrived about 30 minutes earlier than planned, but he called first to make sure it was OK. He explained the pricing options to replace the broken parts on one of my garage doors. The prices seemed very high, but I wanted to get the work done that day, so I reluctantly agreed. He completed the work in about 30 minutes, showed me what he did, and explained the 3 year parts warranty. I paid by credit card using his tablet, and my invoice was emailed to me later. I was happy with the work, but I think the parts are very overpriced. This type of work can be dangerous to do yourself, but next time I will use a different company due to the high cost.

    PhillyDoors, Inc.
Initially purchased a $49 Big Deal. He did come out promptly to look at it when he said he would, but he could not provide us with the service provided in the Big Deal at the price offered due to the age of the door. He did not have the proper weather stripping with him for our garage door. We did decide to go ahead and have the correct weather stripping installed at the standard price. While setting up the service, there were a couple of calls back and forth and it was a little difficult to communicate with him now that he wasn't doing the deal. However, he did call when he was on his way, even though it was late. He did install the weather stripping promptly. It looks like a good job. It would have been nice if there had been a disclaimer stating that the deal may not work for all garage doors depending on the age of the door.

Yuval explained everything up front and provided an estimate. As it turned out, he had to do more work that he initially estimated but he did not charge me for it. I could not have been more pleased.

    JACK FARRELL GARAGE DOOR
I called Jack on a Sunday evening and he returned the call within the hour.  He was able to schedule a service appt for the next day and arrived exactly on time.  After spending about an hour working on the very old unit, Jack was able to get it to partially work - could open it with the remote (which we'd replaced thinking that was the problem) but the only way to get it to close was to use the manual button mounted on the interior wall of the garage.  After receiving the quote to fully replace the electronic opener, I jumped on it because Jack's price seemed more than reasonable and the old unit wasn't worth further attempts to fix it.  Jack came back the next day and replaced the unit, provided two (2) remotes and the services was done with 100% satisfaction.  We were impressed from start to finish with the quality, courtesy, knowledge, timeliness and price.  I would highly recommend Jack Farrell without any hesitation!
