    Zygmunt Motors
These guys are THE BEST! They are the most accommodating, pleasant, quick working and affordable autobody shop i have ever gone to. I have called that day and they fit me in that day or the next day. Oil changes, engine work, tires, you name it - they are incredible.

    Suburban Autoworks, Inc.
Kim & the crew here really came through for me. You literally cannot tell the difference between the new parts and the previous. Even though my insurance company was dropping the ball, Suburban Auto Works came though and made sure I was taken care of. Super nice people on top of the excellent job they did. Would highly recommend, and go back (if I ever need to). Thank you!

    Fred Beans Hyundai
Fuel pump determined to be bad for engine trouble. Instead of changing only malfunctioning part, the whole assembly was changed. When I indicated after all the necessary parts were removed, I was given the explanation the unit was out of specification. According to me that was fake explanation. If whole assembly is replaced, it should have been less labor. The labor was charged much more as if each part is changed separately. One part was charged even though it was part of the assembly and came with the assembly. Price of the parts was excessive (much more than MSRP) compared to genuine Hyundai parts available outside. Dealer indicated they will match price with other dealers not outside shops or Hyundai direct. All dealers have very high price and keep prices very high. Some generic charges were applied for shop supplies in addition to charges for lubricant spray bottle. One previous visit for service went well but not this. Unless desperate, I will not visit this dealer for service.

    Thompson Toyota
Thompson ended up quoting me almost $1300 worth of work, which I agreed to. Notes said left front caliper siezed and front axels had torn boots with little grease. Place seemed very well run, like clockwork. I pickup car on July 6, 2017 and it's still making noise. I call back, leave message, no response. I call back again 2 days later and they took car back to review. They take it again free of charge on 7/17/17 and tech supposedly found pad slap on left front brake pads due to lack of lubrication. They removed pads, lubricated and re-installed and noise was gone. I picked up car and I noticed noise again by next morning. They took it back yet again on 7/25/17, they said left front rotor out of round resurfaced at no charge. NOISE is still there if not louder. I think it's actually coming from the right side. They called to ask if I was satisfied, I advised the issue the vehicle was originally brought in for is still there after spending almost $1300 and 3 visits. I will just take it to someone else at this point.

    Fred Beans Subaru
I use them a couple of time a year. It took two hours to do the work and the workers are always professional. The car was clean. I have a Subaru and I'm not going to trust the service to anyone but people who are familiar with Subaru.

Al Million & Son Body Shop
Checked Angie's List for the name of an auto body shop.  Liked reviews for All Million, called them and my first impression was how friendly and professional they were.  They picked up car which was at home and needed to be towed. They did all interaction with insurance company.  Parts were provided by  Toyota (guaranteed).  Upon receipt of an estimate from insurance company they were able to proceed in a timely fashion.  Very happy with results.  Car looks like new again.

We've been going there for years and we use them constantly.  They do good work, they're friendly, and convenient.  Scheduling is quite easy and they can fit the appointment around his schedule.

Bill was recommended by a friend a number of years ago and I feel lucky. It is great to know you can take your cars into to someone honest who will do a good job. We have been using Bill for a number of years and have been very happy with the results. He tells it like it is and makes sure you know what needs (and doesn't need) to be done with your car. I wouldn't take my cars anywhere else.

    J's Auto Service Inc
This was my first experience with J's Auto Service.  A couple days after Christmas my car began to suddenly misfire. I drove it to the local dealership and got an initial estimate of around $1,000 to pull the engine, inspect the cylinder heads, and then diagnose the problem (i.e., I wouldn't know the repair cost until after spending $1,000 to pull the engine).   I found J's through Angie's list, and found that they could diagnose for much less by check the heads without pulling the engine.
In the end, turned out to be a blown valve so the engine had to be pulled and both heads were serviced.  This all took place in early January, but between the holidays and snow days they kept things moving and I got my car back in a reasonable time,  What I liked most is that John kept me in the loop on the diagnosis and repairs, made helpful suggestions, and the costs/economics.  It was an expensive repair for a 10 year old car in otherwise good condition. Now the engine runs great, and like it or not I'll be driving this car for a while yet after this unexpected "investment."
I also like that J's provides a free 30-day follow-up inspection of their work to make sure there are no issues.  I'm following up with them on a check-engine light issue after the repair, but that appears to be an an exhaust leak, unrelated to the engine work.

I had been having a problem with my car for sometime. I had a smell and hesitation with the vehicle. We took it to two places, one being a Mercedes dealer where I bought the car and they wanted to change numerous things out and the bill was going to be $2500 +, but none of what they wanted to do made sense since one of the items, an expensive one at that, had just been changed about 6 months prior at another place. We took it for another opinion at the place that had changed the parts previously and he found other things he said was the fault of the Mercedes dealer when they had done service. So we decided to go to South Main now known as BBack. We had gone to Bob years back, but our schedules and his didn't match up, they are not open Saturdays, so we had found another place to go to. My husband took it in during his Holiday break and he no sooner told the technician the problem and he knew what it was. Drove it a bit and put it up on the lift and found out exactly what it was. He saved us needless repairs and found numerous things wrong, none of which the other shops found. He said the Transmission had a problem and also the one thing that had been repaired prior was leaking, even though we took it back to the other shop and he wouldn't fix it since he said it was not leaking. He told us up front what the repair would cost approximately since they would send us to a transmission specialist. We opted not to get it fixed, since the repairs would be more then the car is worth. At South Main they know their stuff and are very polite and thorough.
