    House Appliance Repairs
    Great - he started by checking the knobs and it turned out that one was stripped. He used the knob on the wrinkle shield button to turn the dryer on and looked up the part number and provided me a link so I could order a new knob. He wore shoe protectors so as not to track dirt into the house. He was professional and quick - I would definitely use them again. I was charged the minimum charge for a house call.

    Walked into the Doylestown Gerhards, looking for a Miele Dishwasher. David approached my wife and me and answered some of our questions. We were in a hurry to replace our broken Kitchen Aid Dishwasher. I was looking for a delivery sometime this week, and David mentioned that he knew that the miele warehouse had the model I was looking for in stock, and that we could probably have it delivered and installed this Wednesday. I called him later that Sunday adn placed the order, and he told me that he would call me on Monday to confirm delivery on Wednesday for sure. I hear nothing all day, and decide to call at 5:15pm Monday. When I asked for David, the person answering the phone told me that he was off on Monday. He therefore said what he though I wanted to hear, especially since he knew we urgently wanted to replace our dishwasher. I told the very helpful person who took my call to cancel my order, as I do not like being misled nor lied to. I bought the 8 year old Ktichen Aid dishwasher at Gerhards, and that will be the last appliance I ever buy from them again.

    Is this company fly by night?? Send multiple messages through Angie's List with no reply. Then I have called a few times and the calls go directly to somebody's full cell phone voice mail. How in the world did this company get a good service award!?!?! Awful representation for Angie's List.

    Went well. Service tech arrived as planned and performed the service. It used to include everything needed to do the maintenance, but now things have been removed and priced separately, essentially doubling the cost at this point over the first year. I don't think inflation has risen 100% in fifteen years.

    Excellent! Answered the phone on first call...and came out that afternoon. Very courteous, professional, and knowledgeable--even gave tips on how to maintain my dishwasher and optimize its use. Saved me money and time by jerry-rigging a part so I wouldn't have to order one. I had a house full of guests to host in the next few days, so truly a lifesaver. Cost was reasonable.

    I have a home warranty and my dryer quick working. The process is to call home warranty and set up a claim. I did and Mr Appliance was dispatched. I believe they were there the next day. Technician diagnosed a bad motor. Repair cost was about $500. My deductible for warranty company was $75.00. Warranty company decided to replace dryer with new due to repair cost on older dryer. Problem is they could not guarantee replacement would arrive quickly. They said up to 10 days and replacement model had already been discontinued. I asked Mr appliance to fix and they ordered the part and had me fixed up in no more than 2 days! They also to my $75.00 deductible paid and applied to repair cost! Pleasure to work with them.

    Justin was extremely responsive. I called at 6pm on a Sunday night after learning my oven wasn't working and I was having 20 people for Thanksgiving in a few days. He called me back within 10 minutes of my initial call on a Sunday night! He came out the next day to diagnose the issue and when we determined fixing would not only not be possible due to having to order the part, but that also it would be costly for the part, he helped me wire the new one purchased. He was really flexible and I'm so thankful to have worked with such a great service provider. I will definitely be using him in the future!

    Front loading washing machine flooded our laundry room. We turned off the water supply and called 4 repair people- only Tim replied within a day. (One other replied 4 days later, but Tim had already fixed it!) 
    Tim arrived on time and dismantled the washer, replaced the problem part and was on his way within the hour.  We were very pleased at how he worked quickly and precisely.

    Our refrigerator stopped cooling.  We decided to go with a local company because the fridge was out of warranty.  AL Landis was just a few minutes away.  I left a message on their phone early on  6/15/2015 and they came out to look at the refrigerator on the same day!  The technician examined the fridge and found that a fan needed to be replaced, which was a relief because we feared it was the compressor.  He explained to us that if it was the compressor he would have told us to purchase a new unit because it would cost as much as half the price of a new refrigerator to replace a compressor with parts and labor.  We appreciated his honesty there.  The technician put an order in for the part he needed and he returned the next day to install the new fan.  The fridge is good as new!
